Admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is done through Common Entrance Test (CET), also known as IPU CET. Candidates seeking admission to MBA through IPU CET 2021 must fulfill the eligibility criteria. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in IPU MBA CET.
The university also conduct admissions in regular MBA programmes in the University School of Management Studies and affiliated institutes through Common Admission Test (CAT). If seat remains vacant after counselling based on the merit of CAT, then IPU CET counselling shall be conducted on the basis CMAT score. The admission to the following courses will be done through IPU CET 2021:
- Master of Business Administration
- Master of Business Administration (Financial Analysis)
- Master of Business Administration (International Business)
- Master of Business Administration (Financial Management)
IPU CET 2021 MBA Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should check the eligibility criteria before submitting IPU CET 2021 application form. Check the required qualification below:
- Any recognized 3 years or more Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology or any other subject with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or any qualification recognized as equivalent thereto with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate OR
- Passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
- In addition to above, for MBA (Financial Analysis) the candidate must have passed in Mathematics at the 10+2 level.
Admissions Criteria:
- All admissions shall be made on the basis of the merit of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019 that was conducted by Indian Institute of Management followed by CMAT 2020(another National Level Test) on the basis of normalization of their scores.
- The University will also conduct its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of CET only if the seats are left vacant after finishing CAT2019 followed by CMAT/ 2020 merit list

IPU CET 2021 MBA Admission Procedure
The admission procedure comprises of registration, admit card release, appear in IPUCET, result declaration and counselling.
Step 1: Registration – Candidates have to register themselves online so that they can contest in the exam. Candidates should fill IPU CET application form with correct details only otherwise their application will be liable for rejection.
Step 2: Admit card availability – After closing of the registration window, the admission authority will issue IPU CET 2021 admit card to the eligible candidates only. Candidates will be required their login details to download the admit card.
Step 3: Appear in IPU CET 2021 – Candidates must appear and qualify the exam so that they can be eligible for participating in the admission process.
Step 4: Result declaration – The result will be declared after a few days of the conduct of the exam. Candidates will be able to check their result by visiting the official website.
Step 5: Counselling – IPU CET 2021 counselling will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates. Candidates have to appear in the counselling to complete the admission procedure.

JIMS, Rohini (UG Courses) accepts IPU CET score for admission to its BBA, BA and BCA programmes. However, after filling the seats through CET scores, the vacant seats are filled through CUET scores for BA and BCA programmes. Moreover, admissions are also provided through Management Quota.
