MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery. It is a course of 5 ½ years. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers admission to MBBS based on the performance in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG). National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts NEET for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in India. The admitted candidates shall be examined by a medical board at the level of the institution for verification of MCI norms for medically fit candidates for admission.

- Candidate must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English (Core or Elective or Functional) individually
- Candidates should have secured 50% marks together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Biotechnology and English (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC candidate)
- Candidate should be an Indian/ Overseas Indian / Nepal citizen.
- Non-Resident Indians and Foreign Nationals are not eligible
- Candidate should have attained the age of 17 years on or before December 31

IPU CET MBBS 2021 Admission Procedure
For admission to the MBBS programme, candidates who will qualify NEET UG have to submit the application form. After filling the application form, eligible candidates will be called for participating in the IPU MBBS counselling. Shortlisted candidates  have to register on MCC website for admission. The seats are divided into Delhi and All India Seats. The detailed region as well as category wise seat detail shall be notified at the time of counselling / admissions.Â
