Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar earlier known as Guru Jambheshwar University was established by an Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana in 1995. GJU Hisar is approved by UGC and AICTE, accredited by NBA, and with an A+ Grade by NAAC. The university is ranked 49 under the Pharmacy category by NIRF 2023. The university also provides distance education programmes to students that are approved by the Distance Education Bureau, UGC, New Delhi.
GJU University offers UG, PG, and PhD courses to students in various streams such as Engineering, Management, Science, Commerce, and others. The flagship courses offered at GJUST are BTech and MBA.
