Good infrastructure and greenery.
Placements: As we are law students, no placements take place. Law is a self working profession. Minimum salary package is 4-5 lacs to maximum 25 lacs per annum. No recruiting agencies for law were here. Almost 50-60% of students get internships under senior lawyers while doing the course. Roles offered were class in charge, department head, smooth court council.
Infrastructure: Hostel does not offer any Wi-Fi. But it has table tennis court, library, open gyms in the garden for students. Mess food is also good. Canteen is hygienic and offers a variety of food. Every hostel has a canteen of its own and every thing is provided at cheaper price for students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Helping not only in studies but extra curriculum activities for encouraging students. Study is basically theoretical, no such focus on practical knowledge. Exams are of an average level. Minimum percentage required is 45% to pass.
Other: It is the best college/university that could offer this subject in Amritsar More focus on practical knowledge should be there. Environment of the university is very good. Youth festivals, mehfil and many more events takes place at a regular basis.

The college provides good infrastructure, but poor placements.
Placements: I completed this course in the year 2016. The college did not provide placements in our department. None of the companies voluntarily approached our department. We have never joined any company for an internship.
Infrastructure: Only classrooms, a library and moot courts were available, but the Wi-Fi facility was not available for students. Hostels were neat and clean, but the quality of the food served was not so good. Medical facilities were also not up to date. There was limited access to sports.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were well qualified and experienced. They are very helpful. Teaching quality was very good. The course curriculum was relevant. It makes the students industry-ready, but as it is a professional course, it all depends on your observing power.

It is the best law institute in Amritsar.
Placements: As we are law students, no placements take place. Law is a self-working profession. Other than that, the students give many government exams related to law, like UPSC judge papers etc. In every branch, there are more than 120 students, in which they are divided into two sections, and in each course, small electronic-things happen.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is the best. All the facilities are available like sports ground, parking, a library full of books, computer labs and many more are available. Also, hostel facility is available along with full security. The building is equipped with CCTV cameras along with network jammers which are used during papers. Also, there are photocopying machines, along with canteen and reading hall.
Faculty: Faculty of the institute are mostly PhD holders, and they are highly cooperative and experienced. Many courses are offered in law, like B.A LLB, B.Com LL.B, BBA LL.B, LL.B. There is also LLM degree available, which are divided into two types, 2-year course and 1-year course. Students can also pursue PhD degree after completing their masters. Teachers are always helping.
Other: The institute has the best in class infrastructure along with other facilities.

Department of law, GNDU, Amritsar.
Placements: The placements from the campus are mainly to the local law firms of Amritsar, and there is no scope for corporate placement. However, if a person wants to practice law by themselves, and do not want to bear the pressure of the corporate world, they can get you the best placements. Training programs are quite less available for students of B.A-LLB, they get the opportunities from the fourth year onwards.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the law department has changed significantly, as it is one of the oldest departments of the university. It has been updated from time to time, but there are no air-conditioned classrooms, so you have to bear the heat. Also, the university administrators have granted a whole floor to the lecture theater, which was constructed recently and is available with all the latest equipment like projectors and has provisions for smart classes too.
Faculty: The faculty of the law department of the university is highly educated, and the teachers are qualified. They treat students as their own children, and they are very helpful. They give specific attention to those who need them. The curriculum, of course, is upgraded every year and all the latest and present laws are added to the course.

College review: GNDU, Regional Campus, Jalandhar (Punjab)
Placements: Many law firms offering good stipend recruit students having good drafting and pleading skills, directly from the college. Every batch has almost 50% of students aspiring for civil service exams.
Infrastructure: The college campus has a well maintained and up to date library, neat and tidy classrooms, an open ground, ample parking space, clean and hygienic toilets and many more facilities. The college is located in a good area where there are open air and vibrant environment.
Faculty: The college has one of the best faculties in the area having up-to-date knowledge, specialisation in their respective fields, and teaching skills kept up to the mark. Every member of the faculty is a good mentor in themself. The faculty provides us with the knowledge that we can use in our daily and professional life and can make the best use of it. It's a very good college having lots of practical performances, moot courts, and other curricular activities. The moot court competitions help the students in knowing the court procedures and working criteria in advance so as to prepare them for their fields of work.
