Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com. Hons.) - Batch of 2024

Very satisfied because of its study environment and facilities.
Placements: At GNDU, there is a high chance of placements. If we get high marks then placements will choose us. Companies who need commerce line students or accountants, find the best students. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA to 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: At GNDU, there are good facilities like labs, libraries, and hostels. There are many social activities and sports activities. I often participate in sports activities like cricket match. Wi-Fi and labs are always available for students so this is very good thing.
Faculty: Teachers at GNDU are very good and experienced. So this thing is very helpful for students to get ready for industry. They talk about exam-level difficulties. So if we study properly then exams are very easy.
Other: I chose this course beacuse I wanted to become a commerce specialist like CA. The overall course of B.Com is very good but only con is that there is lack of physical activity in this course.

Better education and future-ready individuals.
Placements: The law college offers various internships at the end of every semester through the entire course whether in law firms or individual advocates. Most of the subjects are taught practically as well including visits to prison or volunteering as law students.
Infrastructure: The college is graded by NAAC. It offers non-curriculum activities alongside the course whether it's youth festival activities or college participation. The library is well-equipped for all courses and reading is encouraged during free lectures. Wi-Fi is also available.
Faculty: Our professors are generally studying for their higher education simultaneously. Many are judiciary aspirants. The quality of the teaching is better as engagement is increased. The mid-semester exams are conducted very seriously and make students more than ready for their finals.
Other: The college is situated among other departments and yearly holds fests and campus connectivity activities. The gymnasium is also provided for students free of cost.

Review of Sant Singh Sukha Singh College of Commerce for Women.
Placements: Our college has 387 students, and 93 were shortlisted, and 39 students were successfully placed in SBI Life, HDFC Life, and Byju's. The highest package is 5 lacs pa, the average is 3 lacs pa, but the lowest is according to skills and performance. 40% of students got internships in companies such as Wipro, Mahindra, and HDFC. Top companies are the same as the above-mentioned. Financial analyst, digital marketing associate, junior accountant, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: In classrooms, we have projectors and audiovisual systems. Labs have good internet connections in computer labs. The library is a quite area for students to read books. In our college, no hostel food is okay, and the canteen is not too great. Medical facilities are available, and in other activities, our college is in the number 1 position, like a showoff.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful. They were hiring our college students as teachers. The course is not yet relevant. I want more added skills in our curriculum. The teacher's motive is just to complete the syllabus and do no revision at all. My percentage is 75%.
Other: I think there are more opportunities according to B.Com regular. Subjects are too difficult; please cancel some subjects. Yes, all activities are organized here.

Navigating the best and the worst of my college life.
Placements: There weren't any placements in the college. None of the companies visited the campus for recruitment. I have neither seen nor heard of any placement in the college campus. Also, there weren't any internships offered to any students by any recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: Most of the facilities are outdated and don't have basic facilities like well-set classrooms, proper seating arrangements. No Wi-Fi or internet connectivity. The classrooms were outdated, devoid of any modern technology. There is a library with hundreds of books, science labs, but all lacking modern facilities.
Faculty: All the faculty members were helpful, including the non-teaching staff. They were generous and ready to help in any given circumstances. Most of the teachers were well-qualified and knowledgeable. However, the teaching quality was not according to the standards. The course curriculum is relevant and helps students in realizing their true potential and makes them industry-ready. Semester exams are not difficult to pass; however, sometimes the result goes the other way.
Other: I had set it in my mind to opt for this course because the current trend suggests growing business and the culture of startups. The best thing about the course is that it exposes us to the world of business and helps us understand the different aspects of it. Some events and other cultural festivals were celebrated on the campus. Extracurricular activities were minimal. A Prime Minister's special scholarship scheme is there that provides scholarships for students from Jammu and Kashmir. I was one of the students enrolled under this scholarship.

Placements: According to College Deep, the placement of students is one hundred percent, but according to me, only 16% of students got placed in good company. The highest package is 46 Lacs. Whereas the average package is 3 to 4 Lacs in the course. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, HCL, and Sectra, and there was fewer opportunities for internships.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is there, labs are there, classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and there is a library. The canteen is also good. The food in the hostel is average, and the facilities are good. Various sports and games are held regularly.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the quality of teaching is good. Yes, this course is very relevant, and it makes us industry-ready. The level of exams is average. Almost 70 to 80 percent of students pass, and in exams, the questions are based on what they teach in our classes.
