The worst college ever in the world.

Placements: All are liars who take too much admission fee but don't give any kind of placements to the students. This is the worst college in the world. I will personally advise the students to never get admission in this college. It is totally a waste of time and waste of money in this college.

Biased teachers are not worth the money.

Placements: Only, 2 companies visit our college. Only 6 students got the job. Midland microfinance and ICICI Bank visit our college for placements. No faculty will help any student such as how to crack the interviews, etc. No extra efforts were there. Just only a few students can get a job. Rs. 10,000 per month was offered as the minimum package and the maximum package offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. The students were offered the jobs in HR department, accounts department, and sales department. There is a...

An average college, not very good.

Placements: The placement cell is nice. IBM is the major recruiter. There are no major companies to give placement. Only a few of our seniors got placed through the interview. It is very average compared to other colleges, there are fewer opportunities to get a job.

Please don't go for Amritsar College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Only 5-10% of college students get placed. Not many career opportunities here. Placement staff has nothing to do whether you get placed or not. Students want to get a job but the college only wants to earn money. I highly recommend everyone not to go for this college.

The campus is very small and the whole campus is covered in about 5 acres. There is no hostel for boys. Only a few courses are available and the faculty is not up to the mark. A lot of fighting incidents took place in the previous year and the crowd keeps on decreasing as new admissions take place. The labs are old, very few instruments are working and new technologies are unavailable.

Faculty is not so good but the crowd is good. This college is not up to the mark in quality of teaching. Lab instructors do not teach well. Classes are not conducted as per schedule. Placement is pathetic and no good companies visit the college for recruitment. Majority of the placements happen in pool campus in some other college, where preference is given to their college students. Pre-placement preparation is also unsatisfactory. Only Computer Science students get preference, while students ...

The college and the staff is good but the campus is very small and there is no attached playground in the campus. Classes are also very small and there is no place in the campus to sit free. Even in classes it feels very hot in summer as there are no ACs in the classes and fans are slower than normal ones.

College is good for women. But u have to practice yourself. Teachers are good and helpful. Campus is up to the mark. College hostel is available in campus and Lawrence road is big street for food and shopping where college is situated. Amritsar is a good city and have a rich heritage. In college u will find a big computer lab A Big library u can rent books from there and a big auditorium.

Overall college is good.

Placements: No placement offers in our college. No internships. No top roles offered in college, but the college is good and provides courses in a reasonable amount of money. There are no top recurring companies in our college. There is a high number of students that are represented in my course.

Our faculty members are excellent.

Placements: In our college, almost 50% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 1 LPA and the lowest salary offered was Rs.10,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like PTC News Channel, Zee News, ABP News, Red FM, etc., visited our campus. In our course, many students got internships at local news channels and radio stations. Top roles offered were news anchor, reporter, radio jockey, etc.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with our college.

Placements: Very less number of students got placed from our college. KPMG and TCS were the only good companies which visited our college for placements. Our college didn't provide internship opportunities, and students found internships on their own. The highest salary package offered was around 8 LPA. Our college does make us prepare properly for interviews.

After pursuing our course at our college, the salary offered would be approximately Rs. 15,000 per month. This university infrastructure is not good, and teachers are non-cooperative.

Placements: As companies don't recruit MCA students, even though they have more knowledge. So it is a bad experience for my seniors. TCS and Nagarro recruited the students till now who are not mass recruiters. A very less percentage of students are recruited.
