Overall, it is a good college, but the faculty should treat every student equally.

Placements: At the time of my admission, the placements were not as good as expected, as the ratio of unemployed students is more than that of employed students. So, I will rate 2 out of 5 for placements. I did not get placed till now. I would suggest you have an overview of everything before taking admission.

An aging institution which needs to fully unleash its potential.

Placements: The placements can be categorised into two categories: technical and non-technical. While our senior batch saw a few companies for the student placements, we were given the opportunity to apply for more companies. Big names like Aon Hewitt, Tata Consultancy Services, IBM Daksh, Amazon, Wipro, Bank of America, Thermax, Tech Mahindra, Infosys and Walmart came to recruit freshly graduated students. Our college was even selected as the sole placement centre in whole Punjab for the customer support s...

Academically it is good, but there are a lot of restrictions. Many competitions are organised.

Placements: Milestone is the leading immigration service provider in Jalandhar city. B.N Overseas is another immigration consultancy service provider. Concentrix business service comes each year to recruit students. Tata Mahindra comes once in a while to hire fresh talents.

All good for a short city, Amritsar.

Placements: The placements are not good. Only, call centre and BPO companies came to our college. The college is good and has a good reputation in Amritsar. Overall, it's good, but it's like all the colleges who sell their study, and they charge too much fees, and you have to complete 70% attendance, and if you did not complete, you have to pay for it, and you can sit for the exam which is the rule.

Placements: The placements are fine. The senior students were also placed in good companies. Most of the interested students were placed in the companies. Companies like Edureka, Sopra Steria and Adobe Systems visited and offered technical and non-technical roles. The average salary offered was 3.6 LPA, and the highest was 20 LPA. It is a good place to study.

Placements: The placement in my college was average. They usually take a bunch of candidates who are actively participating in placements. The companies like TCS, Amazon, etc., visited the college. I have conducted placements in this college. It gave a great opportunity to sit in placements.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of failed education system and non helpful nature of faculty.

Placements: Very less number of students got selected for the campus placements, and I don't know exactly why. A few students who got placed didn't join yet. I don't think placements are real in our college. They are just pretentious, and nobody really gets placed. So be cautious.

Good infrastructure but poor faculty

Placements: The placement criterion is good and most of the main campus students got a placement but they all go to TCS which is offering a package of 3.30 lacs pa, which is not good. The highest package is 24 lacs, which is given to the MBA students. A few people got internships but everyone is trying to get one at least. The highest stipend is around 20000 and the lowest is 3500, which was given to my own batchmates and some seniors.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the poor placement record.

Placements: Placement record is quite good. But the highest package ever was 15.5 LPA (but not in the campus placement), and most of the students get around 2 LPA to 3 LPA. The staff ask the students in the 3rd year about what they want to do, that is maybe they want jobs, government jobs, placements or if they want to go to foreign countries. Placements: The average package for CSE department in our college was around 3.25 LPA last year. The placements for our senior batches were not up to their expectations. Only some usual companies visit our college, like Infosys, TCS, etc., which you know don't offer very high salaries.

Placements: The placements in my batch are going smooth, and in senior batch also it was good. Last year, the highest package offered by Amazon was 15 lakhs per annum. Around 50% of the students were placed, who appeared for the placement. The companies like Steria, Capgemini, Amazon, Aon Hewitt, SAP Labs, Adobe India, etc., have visited the campus. The internship to the college students is good, but there is no support for the college students make their move.

Placements: The placements here are very bad. We can also say that only 1 or 2% of the placements are there for b.com. Very bad companies come that the students are not even liking to sit in the interview. The students who are selected also, do not join those companies. So from my point of view, placements are very bad in this college.

Placements: No internships are provided by the college. Basically, there are no placements from the college as per the course. No push is given to the students to get an internship from the courts. They just give us lectures of the syllabus, nothing else. No extra work, no extra activities except assignments and that too just because of the guidelines from the university.

Placements: Placements are good. Pay scale is not so high, that is 3-4.5 lakh but the number of students having jobs in their hands is relatively high in comparison with other colleges in Punjab or this region. Many companies visit the main campus each year with lots of jobs in their hands. If you possess necessary engineering skills, you will definitely get the job.

Placements: Just a few companies visited for placements and offered too little. Out of 150 batchmates, 30-35 got selected but none of them joined as they all were underpaid jobs.
