It is a very good college. Teaching staff is very experienced. Students are evaluated on the basis of their performance. Teachers are very co-operative. Infrastructure facility is not so good. Campus of this college is so small. A lot of unnecessary restrictions on students are there, that need to be improved. Practical work is less.

DAV College is the best college for those students who wants to study in BA, MA, and MSc etc. It has very good quality of education. It has good bus services. It has very good play ground for players. It has very good campus. Its campus is full of greenery.

If you like to do self-study then this college is apt for you as it may not provide you with the extra knowledge but will help you a lot in placements. Overall it was a good experience studying there and you could consider it if you do not have a call from any top notch engineering institute.

It’s an average college with a decent infrastructure and no industry experience at all. Some of the faculty is great at their jobs. The quality of students in the college is not appropriate. Most of them just want to show off their father's money and their luxurious cars. Almost no one of them are there to study. So for people who do not seek high notch placements can join the college otherwise go for some other college.

There is a good scope for IT companies. A number of them visit the campus. But if someone is looking for core electronics profile, then the college is not suitable. Campus life is good and you have a great scope for cultural, sports and other extra-curricular activities if you are interested in them.

College was good but it did not had good campus life as I was in regional campus of my university which was located in Gurdaspur. Moreover its city life was also not so good. Teaching no doubt was good. Sports facility was not that good. It had average placements at out time but it was on the side of declination.

Infrastructure of Amritsar campus is good. Other campuses are not worth the money. Placement wise, good if you get into the one or two mass recruiters. Otherwise, it's difficult to get campus placement here. Faculty members are average. Hostel facilities are provided. Food is average.

It has been tremendous 4 years in the college. Though our college offered less opportunities in consideration to studies but yes, when it comes to placements their track record was one of the best in Punjab . Various companies visited our campus to recruit more than 1000 students of our batch.

One of the best colleges in Punjab in terms of brand name and placements. If you have the will to learn you will definitely learn. Like most engineering colleges don't expect much from the administration in terms of exposure to latest technologies etc. Has a good technical club run by the students. The campus is good and the city is also good.

In North Side , Specially in Punjab(excluding Chandigarh) there are only a few Colleges those name is very well recognized and one of those Name is Guru Nanak Dev University. A good institute that provide good education with a fair amount of exposure and all round development when specially one is from small city before. Good, qualified and experienced faculty members are always there for help. One can really feel the difference of being studying in a University rather than a College.

Well the University campus is pretty big. Lots of canteens. No major scene for attendance. The placements are pretty much fine. You could easily secure an 8 pointer just manage the time during exams properly. Crowd is not that great. But you'll find few people to your liking. Hostel life is pretty much finery less rules and almost no boundations.
