Dissatisfied with the practical aspects of the course.

Placements: Sixty-three out of 78 students were eligible for placement, and all 63 eligible students were placed. The highest package was 12 LPA, the lowest package was 3 LPA, and the average package was 5 LPA. Companies like Larsen and Toubro, Maruti Suzuki, and Aarti Industries come for the internship program in the 3rd year, and some selected candidates get internships on campus.

Overall, it's a good college, but it may not be the best for those pursuing technology branches.

Placements: Placements are better in engineering branches like chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, then CS, IT, etc. And in technology branch, paint is one of the best branch for 100 percent placement and other technology branch are quite better. And at now the placement rate is 74 percent overall

College is good in many terms but it depends on you what u expect from college.

Placements: Placements of HBTU are good remembering in mind that it is a state college. This college is famous for its chemical branches and their placements. Average placement of this college is 6-7 lakhs. For tech branches, it's average placement can go upto 10 lakh.

I'm overall satisfied.

Placements: This year, 100% of the eligible students in my department were placed in good companies. The college itself offers internships, and also partners with outside companies such as Patanjali and Parachute. The highest salary offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest was 3.3 LPA.

Good college to explore but it's upto you what you want.

Placements: Placement at our college is excellent. All students who sat for campus placement got a job. Many of our seniors got multiple job offers from both core and non-core companies. PSUs come to recruit students. In my course, 90% of students were placed with an average package of 10-12 LPA. The highest package was 44 LPA last year, which was off campus, and on campus it was 36 LPA.

I Am Quite Satisfied with Placements; College Life Is Not So Great

Placements: The placements are pretty good compared to other state colleges. For Mechanical and Chemical Engineering, the college provides 100% placement, and placements for CS and IT branches are also good. Some companies that visit include TCS, Havells, Maruti, Varroc, Hero, and others.

Good placements in 2024 and highly appreciated faculty .

Placements: At Harcourt Butler Technical University, the placement in mechanical engineering is outstanding. In the year 2023-2024, out of 65 eligible students, 63 are placed in big companies with a decent package. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Honda, and LNT are the major recruiters.

The college is known for its alumni culture and placements.

Placements: In core branch placement, the average package for CS IT, ET, EE, ME, and CH is 8 LPA. In non-core branch placement, the package varies depending on the students' knowledge and ability to develop their skills. Like paint technology and plastic technology, you need to develop skills.

Satisfied because of various reasons like fests, infrastructure, etc.

Placements: HBTU Kanpur being a government college is quite impressive, and the placements in the electrical branch are quite good. Most of the students are already placed in the companies for the 9 LPA package, on average. I have seen my senior preparing for the company's interview. Also, mostly all the students are doing internships provided by the college or by themselves. Companies like Birla, TCS, etc. also visited and students got selected for those.

Pros and cons of taking admission in HBTU.

Placements: Placements at HBTU were fairly good enough till last year, but this year, the placements of CS IT have been very poor due to recession in the IT field. On the other hand, they are good enough like in branches of mechanical, chemical, paint, etc. Placements have been above 80%.

Not so satisfied with the college, very bad campus infrastructure, and below average placements.

Placements: The placement scene is not so decent here. In my branch of Electrical Engineering, almost 25–30% of the students got placed with an average package of about 6-7 LPA. If you are thinking of joining this college in terms of placement, you may get a little disappointed here. Some of the students go for government exam preparation; that's one of the reasons for the lower percentage of students getting placed. The highest package offered was 22 LPA and the lowest was 3.33 LPA.

According to me, this is a very good government college.

Placements: The placement at my college is average and not so satisfying, but if a student gets a very good package according to their professional background and course in the college,. Many companies will recruit many of the students from our college with normal packages in each branch.
