Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) is also known as Hindustan University. HITS offers PhD in all the courses offered at the university level. PhD course is taught through nine schools comprising streams of Science, Engineering, Liberal arts, Designing and Management Studies. Before applying for the course, aspiring students must completer their post-graduation. Hindustan University accepts admission to PhD course either through GATE or UGC NET score or the through the university’s in-house entrance test i.e., HITSCAT. Qualified students will be decided by the cutoff rank and called for the final personal interview round at the university.

Hindustan University’s admission includes an entrance exam along with the personal interview round. At HITS, fellowship and post-doctoral fellowships are given to its full-time meritorious scholars based on some minimum eligibility criteria. Selection Criteria: HITSCAT/ GATE/ UGC NET + Interview

Total Tuition Fee: INR 1 lakh – INR 2.18 lakh*

Hindustan University PhD Application Process 2023

Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science has an online application process for PhD admission. AT HITS, admission is generally based on academic credentials and the candidate’s performance in written test and personal interview. Those who are eligible must visit the university’s official website and fill an application form to apply for the course.

Step 1: Visit the official website of HITS (www.hindustanuniv.ac.in) and click on 'Apply Now'.

Step 2: Select the desired course which leads to the course registration page.

Step 3: Enter the applicant’s personal details, including name, e-mail ID and mobile number.

Step 4: Acknowledge the registration link received over mail and log in with the same credentials.

Step 5: Fill in the personal as well as the academic details of the applicant.

Step 6: Scan and upload the required documents.

Step 7: Pay the application fee of Rs 1,200 through net banking or debit/ credit card.

Step 8: Review the application and click on the 'Submit' button
