Ptu is much better than Kuk. so choose wisely. you will get more chance for re-appear exams in PTU. you can score more marks in ptu even you are an average student. kuk results are always late and there is a lot of issues with kuk.

The University has also released the 2023 NIRF report. As per the report,  55 BTech, 9 MTech, and 2 MBA students were placed during IK Gujral Punjab Technical University placements 2022. The median package for BTech stood at INR 4.50 LPA. For MTech and MBA courses, the median package stood at INR 3 LPA and INR 2.70 LPA, respectively.

Admission to the MBA programme is granted on the basis of scores obtained by the students in CMAT followed by centralized counselling. The students are allotted seats based on their rank, choice, and seat availability.

IKGPTU offers an MBA programme at PG-level. Candidates who have a graduation degree from a UGC-approved university are eligible to apply for the programme. The graduation degree should be of a minimum 3 years programme. MBA at IKGPTU is offered in three specialisations, from which a student can select as per their convenience and career choice.

The university accepts Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) scores for admission to an MBA. Hence, aspirants must have a valid CMAT score to seek admission. The duration of this entrance test is three hours. Moreover, it is conducted in CBT mode, which is Computer Based Test.
