Overall it's good for students who want to get graduated and gain work experience parallelly.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. If you work parallelly apart from graduation, you can have a good experience. But you will only justify your degree by gaining experience, which I feel is must for one student whose financial conditions or marks weren't that good.

This college is a good solution for distant learning and additional degrees.

Placements: The placement in IGNOU depends on your personal skills, and you have to apply for a job by yourself. Study centres at IGNOU generally do not organise any job session. The private companies come to the campus for organising job fairs. Candidates generally apply by themselves.

IGNOU (Lucknow) is above the average college.

Placements: I am studying masters in computer application from Lucknow Region of IGNOU. I take my classes at UPTEC as I choose it as my study centre. You can also study at IGNOU. Some of my seniors are well placed as I know, but there is no college placement at IGNOU. There is no placement cell at IGNOU. I heard a few years back that Wipro took some of the students, but I have done BCA (Bachelors in Computer Application) from IGNOU, so at least there is no college placement since then.

Gives the liberty to the students to learn with their comfort.

Placements: As this is an open university, almost every student who joins for any course or programme is already engaged in some other jobs like professional education, doing the job somewhere or in service, so the placements are not as valuable as compared to the other colleges or UHH universities.

Education is cheap and further add value in your resume.

Placements: There will be no placements, but it is very convenient as you can change or select your learning and examination centre anywhere in India. It is very helpful for the people who are already doing jobs, and the students who want an additional degree. This will also add value to their resume.

Good but only for those who can't go to the college.

Placements: The IGNOU is an open university, and there are many small study centres. So the placement cell companies can't go to the small study centres for only 7 to 10 students. So I'll suggest you to please give more preference to the regular studies and not to the distance or open studies.

Not so satisfied with placements, college campus and infrastructure in 2016

Placements: We did not get any kind of placement from our college. Also, our senior batches also did not get any kind of placement from there. Whenever we went for of campus interviews with our certificate, we did not get preference because of our degree was a distance education degree. Without any add-on degree in computer application, it is very difficult to get a job in this industry. Our seniors also faced this problem during initial days of their career. At last, I can say that it is very difficult to ...

A good institution for distance education.

Placements: As we know, IGNOU provides distance education, so there are very low chances of getting the campus placement. But, some private companies came to our study centre for recruitment and selected 30 students from BCA and MCA. We had an interview session in our study centre from which only 30 students were selected, then again an interview was taken at the company's office and further 20 candidates were filtered out. They provided the job with a starting salary of Rs 12,000 of which after deducting ...

Let me be fair, according to the standards of distance learning, the reputation and studies are pretty good and difficult too but IGNOU behaves less as a distance education institute and more like regular college in terms of mandatory attendance and assignments. Now, studying in IGNOU is affordable and you will have to actually work very hard, making assignments, viva and difficult examinations. Faculty and campus facilities depend on the centre you chose so that does not matter a lot here. ...

It is basically an open university where we can get a degree by just taking online or offline admission. It is a very good university. There are many courses in this college like undergraduate, postgraduate programs, and certificate program. Everyone can study here whether he/she is economically backwards or not. There are many job oriented courses at this campus. Some courses like BSc, BA, B.com, BCA, etc. You can continue your further education from IGNOU by doing your job also.

The college is good if one has the potential to study on his own. Further, the value of the degree provided by highly is recognised highly. The fee charged by IGNOU is quite less as compared to other colleges. Apart from that, it gives you a chance to carry on the job too.

It was an open examination in my case, although I never visited my college as I am pursuing CA besides my college, but I can assure you that it is worth going to a college. During my exams, I have seen people participating in several activities organised by the management. I missed that moment for not being able to participate in that. It must have been a learning experience.

IGNOU is one of the best correspondent universities in India. Its fame can be understood by its large student strength. Learning in IGNOU is advantageous in many ways. It gives students the opportunity to achieve education throughout India with a vast range of regional centres. It’s great for learners who are pursuing jobs, so they can do both at the same time. It has almost every course from certificates to post graduate. It’s also helpful for those who have not been able to get admission in ...

IGNOU is a well-known university in Delhi. We faced a lot of problem in placements, as the university is open. Study standard is very high but placement is nil. The campus is very good and energetic, plus the faculty is very nice to me. The crowd being poor lowers the university’s standard.

I am pursuing my MCA from IGNOU where I get the best college for distant learning. Regarding the labs and lecture halls, there is no doubt. The teachers are good, friendly and the syllabus is completed within time. Rest, about the transport, I never used it so can't say. Overall, the infrastructure is good. If required, I call the faculty members even at 10pm for any query and get a satisfactory reply from the faculty. My experience with IGNOU is excellent. IGNOU has educated me in such a way...

One of the best universities with the latest course and syllabus. It is the biggest university in India which provides all kind of course which are up to date. I would like to recommend this university because it has a very low fee structure and a very good quality of faculty. The degree of this university is well recognised in giant companies.

Absolutely dissatisfied with IGNOU. Poor Experience.

Placements: This course offers you a very low chances to get placement. As of my experience i advice you to don't go for it. Rarely students got placement from colleges also if you are going for an open university then your placement chances will get almost zero.

We get quality of facilities along with enough time for other things.

Placements: IGNOU doesn't provide any internships and no companies come here, it just provides you a degree and grades but this degree is accepted everywhere and in every company. This college is just for getting a degree. It doesn't provide placements. But with a degree we can do multiple things if we want.

Average because it's course was good, but they don’t provide placements.

Placements: This college is only for completing a course. There is no such company visiting for placements, they only provide classroom studies and course related information. There focus is only on earning money, they don't think about the students’ future. This college is only worthy of providing a course certificate, you get a job on your own only.
