The Truth of Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur.

Placements: The highest package offered for this year is above 90 LPA, and more than 3 got more than 85 LPA. The least package offered for this year is 4 LPA. Top recruiters are Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Myntra, etc. Most of the students are placed on campus, and some have been placed off campus as well.

Dissatisfied by infrastructure and complete forest location.

Placements: On campus, the highest is 52 LPA CSE. Don't rely on college placements, reality is very different. Many students get PPO (pre-placement offer) but were later rejected by the Company. The student in ECE got a 1.22cr off-campus package in Singapore but his job was in computer Science.

Our college provided very less placement opportunities but had very good professors.

Placements: When I passed out, there were no placements for the mechanical branch. Only one company visited our campus and not all students got an opportunity. If we are interested only in placements I better suggest not to choose this institute because not more than 10 companies visit.

Average college for JEE mains student.

Placements: Computer science placements are pretty good here with around 90% people getting placed and rest goes for higher studies. For electronic and communication engineering, placed people are 50% and rest goes for higher studies. Same with mechanical. Top company for internship and job was Microsoft offering 40 LPA (the highest), the lowest is 4lpa and average for computer science is 8lpa, electronic 6lpa and mechanical 4lpa.

The management authority is utterly rigid and atrocious.

Placements: The placement scenario during my year of pass-out was a tad bit poor. Not more than 50% of the batch was placed and among those that were placed, more than 90% were in coding. The average package was not more than 5 Lacs and the top package did not exceed 10 Lacs. Most of the companies were regular recruiters in the field of IT coding. Not very attractive scenario back then.

Poor management, and the college needs some improvement.

Placements: The placement scenario is not good. The highest package offered was around 10 LPA, and the average package offered was around 4 LPA. Companies that visited our college included Wipro, Infosys, Mu Sigma etc. Around 50% of the batch got placed. The college needs to improve its placement scenario significantly.

Dissatisfied with faculty. However, research work is good, and placements are going high every year.

Placements: The placement scenario in college is getting better every year. The placement cell here is effective. The average salary packages offered are around 8-9 LPA. Last year, the highest salary package offered was about 36 LPA. There is a Genesys (internship in Japan) internship opportunity for meritorious students. Companies like IBM, Oracle, Infosys, and BrahMos, etc., visit the institute for placements every year and offer good packages. More than 90% of the CSE students get placed every year.

Satisfied because of my friends circle as well as faculty members.

Placements: I got placed in L&T company in 2017. Placement for CSE students is good. The average salary offered in 2017 is 6.2 LPA, and 82% of the students were placed. The average salary offered for ECE students is 4.8 LPA, and 55% students are placed here. But, the placements of mechanical students was just 20% as very few companies visited to recruit the students of ME.

College is good for CSE students. ECE and mechanical have to look forward after B.Tech.

Placements: The placements in the college are good for computer science students, but for other branches like ECE and mechanical, there is very less scope compared to CSE. Big companies don't come to college for the placements as our college don't have branch values as such brand value as IIT and NIT have.

A well-growing institute with some potholes to be filled.

Placements: B.Des was introduced first time in 2015, and therefore it will be the first batch to face placement activities. Then students from M.Des over here are placed in good companies like Paytm. Other people have planned either to work in renowned design studios or go for masters.

Absolutely, not worth the distance and the sacrifices you make.

Placements: The placements are good. People get into this only after listening to the placements in CSE department. Well, I must admit our college has better placements for CSE department but staying away from home carrying a billion dreams, I don't think they could be achieved.

IIITDM Jabalpur a college still needs to be changed a lot .

Placements: The placements are good for CSE branch, and all companies that come are mostly based on IT jobs. ECE, mech students are suffering a lot due to this. They have to learn the coding-related software to get placed. They have to learn coding related software to get jobs in those IT companies Very few companies take the students of these branches based on their core subjects. The placements need to be improved a lot.

Dissatisfied due to the food and the placements.

Placements: The placements for the computer science branch are good, and the placements for the other branches are not as expected. The highest salary offered to date is Rs. 35 LPA, the average salary offered is Rs. 8 LPA and the least salary offered is Rs. 3.5 LPA. 98% of the computer science students get placed. The core jobs are not available for the electronics and communication.students.

Undergraduate design at IIITDM Jabalpur.

Placements: We have had good placements in past from M.Des. Though, the scenario isn't very bright now as no bachelors batch has passed out yet, so nothing much to say on that. But all that said, a design student doesn't really need to rely on the institution for a placement. The portfolio will take you far.

Placement activities are not worthy enough and companies don't show the willingness to come over here as a few disciplines are here. Infrastructure is in developing mode, but the growth rate seems to be low. Location of college is nice but lacks in some basic facilities. Transportation between college and city is not so good.
