Placements: The placements in SJMSOM has been one of its topmost takeaway. For batch 2017-19, 100% placements was achieved within 3 days of the process with the highest CTC being Rs. 32.4 Lacs and average CTC over Rs 20 Lacs. Placements: Placements in our college are very good for the students of the engineering courses but not that good for the students of the science subjects. Well-reputed companies visit the campus for placements. The salary package offered is pretty good. You need to have a good resume with IITB as your college where you did your graduation to get placed. All the students are offered with a job they like.

But the average package offered to the students in my department is around 9 lacs per annum. Approximately 70% of the batch got placements, and others may go for higher studies or do other things like MBA, etc.

Student participation in the placement cell is near 95% with all major decision making handled by selected students from the outgoing batch. Placements: IIT Bombay has almost 100% placements, I was one of the company coordinator in IIT bombay placement cell for 2013-2014. Our senior batch even got full placement. But the fact is the Computer Science and electrical background students get their respective companies with very good packages with the average of 15 lacs per annum ranging between (8-50 lacs/annum). Most of the students even got one crore package from Google and Facebook. Almost 80% of the students got placed from IIT Bombay. Placements: Placements of IIT BOMBAY were as it should be, fabulous. Students who were placed were high in number. Around 80-90% got placed, with gross average salary of about 11-12 LPA. There is a placement cell which helps students to get their internship and finally placement after 4th year or 5th year for DD students. And it is very efficient.

Seminars and sessions were conducted for placements which helped the students in bagging phenomenal jobs.
