Placements: I was placed in Yahoo! Japan, in Tokyo. Everyone in my batch were placed. CS engineers from IITB are in great demand. Internships and research opportunities was overwhelming. Stipend was 12.5k. There is an amazing placement cell with students participating in the management of the placements actively. All in all, placements are next to guaranteed in and out of campus if you take this course in this college.
Placements: Really good placement opportunities in both core and non core fields. From third year itself you get exposed to internships and have a chance to earn ppo also. Some big auto firms to oil companies to PSUs all come to our campuses to hire the best of talent.
Placements: The placements in IIT Bombay is really good, almost everyone gets placed here. The highest went around 1.39 crores. Consulting companies like Brain and co, strategy &, at kearney etc. Take the cream layer of the college. 3 trading firms come to our college every year : Floe Traders (Amsterdam), Optiver, and Futures First. Although there is hype that has been spread all over india about the packages of the students of IIT bombay. Only the day 1 and day 2 students get that kind of packages rest al...
Placements: My seniors who were interested, got 100% placements in reputed companies in foreign countries like Germany, France, Paris, Japan, South Korean. As being chemists, they often got placements either in teacher stream or as a researcher position in medicinal or other explosive material production companies.
Placements: The average package for last season is 8 lacs per annum. L&T Co is the top recruiter for the civil engineering students. Most of the students opted higher studies rather than placement, and among those who appeared for placements, most of them were interested in non-tech companies.
Placements: The placements are good when compared to other colleges. Above 50% of the students get placed with a good package. And, some people do not sit for placements and usually try to get enrolled in a PhD programme somewhere. They do give pre-placement classes and help you prepare for the placements. Some people also get international placements with good package.
Placements: Pretty awesome for CSE department and electrical department. I would say average package of 8-10 for Mechanical. Singer people get PPO from the internships. Many people go for non core jobs as core job offers less money than non core usually. There are two seasons for placements. Some company's are open to B.Tech only and not for dual or M.Tech.
Placements: The placements are usually good with both core and non core companies coming in the placements. The internships is usually available for third year students. There exists a placement cell that takes care of both placements and internships in the institute. It is useful mostly for third year students with respect to mechanical department.
Placements: The placements are very good and better than other colleges of the country. Facebook, Microsoft, Oracle are major recruiters. Even the non-core companies provide good salary package. Almost everyone who registers gets placed. Around 70% of the students did the internship in the country. Few went outside the country. The highest stipend was 2 LPA, and the average is Rs.25,000. There is placement cell, and it guides every student.
Placements: The placements at IITB are pretty good as compared to any other college in Mumbai or India. Most of the placements happen in the month of December from 1st to 16th. Every department has very good placement percentage. The packages of CS, electrical and mechanical are pretty high as compared to other branches, and most of the placements are in the non-core sector. The average package of IITB is around 7 lac/annum. Phase two begins in the month of February, and overall, 95% of the people get place...
Placements: The infrastructure here is good if you are from CS, otherwise its fine only, but don't get into the news of millions of package as they all are fake. But yes, you can get a decent package from any other branch. So, its good to be here in short, but don't aim for stars or the moon as it is just fine inside.
Placements: Over 90% of the students who sit through the placements are placed every year. The packages range from approximately. 30 LPA in India to 100,000$, if we are working abroad. Over a hundred recruiters come to campus every year, including top analytics, investment banking and core jobs. Quantitative and analytics jobs are mostly open to all the departments, while the core jobs open for specific departments. CSE, EE and ME typically see slightly higher average packages. A significant fraction of the...
Placements: The placements on the campus are good. The 1st phase of placement season starts in December. Out of 15 students, 11 got placed in the 1st phase, and the rest in 2nd phase, which is in February. The maximum salary package in our senior batch was around 25 lacs/annum. In our batch, it was 19 lacs/ annum. The companies like Mahindra, Accenture, Sony, GE, Deloitte, etc., visit the campus.
Placements: The placements for ASI batch are always good. The previous year, 77% got placed. This time, already 86% got placed & placements will continue until the end of May. The companies like Accenture Services, ANZ Bank, KPMG, HSBC Global, UHG, PWC, TCS Analytics came this year. The average CTC this year is 10 LPA approximately as of now. The highest CTC is 21 LPA, and the lowest is 8.5 LPA. Job roles offered are a business analyst, consultant, statistical analyst, FRM analyst, data scientist. For inter...
Placements: The placements were good, and almost all the students from this department got placed. The salaries provided were slightly on the lower side due to the market not being at best. Salaries varied from 4 LPA to 15 LPA. Roles offered varied form engineering roles, finance to marketing. You can think of almost anything.
Placements: IIT Bombay is known for its placements. For metallurgy, the companies like Tata Steel, Hindalco, GE, Applied materials, etc. Other companies like Microsoft, Apple, Uber, and Morgan Stanley are opened for all. The highest salary offered is 30 LPA. The lowest was 8 LPA, and the average offered was 12 LPA.
Placements: This year, almost zero placements for our seniors. Only two to three have got placed. ONGC didn't visit the campus to hire the students. Hope our luck favours more. We all get the job through the GATE exam. Nobody will remain unemployed after leaving such tremendous academy. In the same year, otherwise, within next two years, everyone gets settled.
Placements: SJMSOM is known for its 100% placements in both summers as well as finals and was true for my batch as well as my seniors. A healthy average stipend of 1.43 lacs is offered in summers. SOM is primarily known in the market for its operations and supply chain background and has most of the FMCG's P&G, Nestle, Marico, J&J, Mondelez, etc., are visiting the campus for placements. Also, there are good opportunities for students to take up their career in consulting, finance, systems, and marketing rol...
Placements: The placement scene at energy science engineering is quite unpleasing. The seniors have made a scene at the general meeting of the department. They said that the companies hire the engineers that are mostly from the core engineering departments like electrical or mechanical thinking that we don't have enough knowledge as compared to them whereas the energy engineers are most versatile engineers. They know mechanical, electrical and chemical engineering disciplines.
Placements: The placements of IITB are world class. They are just phenomenal. I can't compare its placements with any other institute in the world. CSE guys get high salary up to 2.5 crores per annum, and other guys also get up to 50 lakhs rupees per annum. So don't worry, you will have a good time in IIT Bombay.
