A:
Yes, IIT Delhi offers adequate hostel facilities for all students. The hostel at IIT Delhi was built in the 1960s. And, they're managed well to date. The room for the first year's B.Tech is a 3-seater (which was two-seater earlier). In some hostels, there are two-seater rooms too (as there are 13 hostels with different maps and infrastructure). The rooms are less spacious if you and your roommates wish to stay in the room all the time (it doesn't happen though). Below mentioned is a review of the IIT Delhi hostel facilities, as per a recent graduate: "There are 3 beds on which many people sleep (mostly 5+ at exam times). There are 3 tables, 3 chairs and 2 almirahs with four slots each. There are two LAN ports for 3 people. You manage it as there is a Wi-Fi facility too. Also, in a room, there are two fans, two tube lights and four electricity boards."

Good college with best campus life.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the department is very well maintained with the lab equipment being up-to-date and top notch. The department is equipped with all the latest technology. The hostels are as much as you can expect a hostel to be. Basic amenities are provided but you can't expect it to be very lavish. The hostel serves the purpose of living a basic life.

Absolutely great college with amazing peers and faculty support, IIT Delhi.

Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi is available in hostels, classrooms, and libraries. Classrooms have a huge capacity for hundreds of students, have video projectors, and centralized temperature control. Libraries have lots and lots of books on all topics, written by famous authors from almost every era. Hostels are decent; most of them are quite old, with only Girnar, Udaigiri, Dronagiri, and Saptagiri being the newest hostels, and those are also a decade old. Rooms can be double, triple, or single-sharing, dep...

IIT Delhi: The average college in India.

Infrastructure: IIT Delhi's hostel infrastructure is in dire need of an upgrade. Many of the hostels are over 60 years old, and have seen minimal renovation or upgrades in recent years. A modern update would greatly improve the overall living experience. The IITD hospital also has its limitations, with a shortage of well-qualified doctors and outdated facilities. This can make it challenging for students to receive quality medical care on campus. On a positive note, the library stands out as a valuable resource...

Experience of IIT Delhi 2024.

Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped and well-maintained with international standards. Professors are really good and helpful with great knowledge. The hostel room we were given is very small in living area, where two or three students live, and they provided us with a desk, chair, cupboard, and B.Ed. The meal quality is good, but the taste and variety are not that great.

Great college for startups and out of campus life.

Infrastructure: There are large classrooms in which there are AC and heaters, good quality chairs but less breadth of benches. In the whole campus, you don't need mobile data because Wi-Fi is available everywhere. The hostels have small rooms, but they are pretty clean, and in the mess, there are frequent special dinners and lunches. There is a hospital for all IIT students. There are playgrounds for almost every sport.

Infrastructure: Facilities and Infrastructure for the Course/Department: Wi-Fi: High-speed campus-wide Wi-Fi access, including in classrooms and labs. Labs: Well-equipped labs with modern machinery for manufacturing, CAD/CAM, automation, and quality control. Classrooms: Smart classrooms with projectors, air-conditioning, and ergonomic seating. IIT Delhi - A plethora of opportunities, and really good campus life.

Infrastructure: Facilities and labs for the course are decent though not advanced. Wi-Fi is available on campus. Library is a great resource with varied books and is open till 2:30 AM. The quality of food in the mess is more than fine. Medical facilities are real problem, but AIMS is near so we go there. Sports and games are great on campus. GC maintains the enthusiasm.

Infrastructure: Campus is spread over a large area with many modern technologies available like free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the campus, air-conditioners, and large classrooms. College has one of the biggest libraries in the city and labs with some of the best and rare equipment. And many more. Hostel being 40 to 50 years old are a little poor in infrastructure and strength and are generally renovated every 10 years. Mess and canteen food is decent or eatable but not much good. Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course are not so good. Washrooms are in very bad condition. The taps are broken and there is no proper water supply in washrooms. Furniture became old and worn out. Technologies like projectors and computers have become outdated.

Infrastructure: IIT Delhi has good infrastructure as hostels and classrooms have every facility. The whole campus has Wi-Fi. The college has a central library which has around 7,000 books and 90,000 journals in hardcopy and softcopy. It has a sports complex, hospital, an auditorium (Dogra Hall), open-air theatre, seminar hall, and lecture hall complex where all lectures are held. I am fully satisfied, but the academic part is a little over, and you get stressed sometimes.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but hostels are old. There are a few new hostels, and a few are to be made. Eleven Boys' Hostels and two Girls' Hostels house around 5,000 IITians. Each hostel is self-contained with a mess, common room, reading room, indoor games room, gym, and other such facilities. The rooms are provided with internet through a 10 Mbps leased line.
