What's new regarding IIT Delhi placements 2025? The first phase of placements for the year 2024-25 has begun at IIT Delhi. The Phase 1 placements 2024-25 will continue till Dec 15, 2024. Earlier, Core (Technical) sector emerged as the top recruiting sector that placed 36.6% of the total students during IIT Delhi placement 2024 followed by IT and Analytics sectors that placed 20.7% and 10.9% of the total students, respectively. Further, 1,222 unique job offers and 741 unique internship offers were received during IIT Delhi placements 2024.

As per the latest media report, a total of 1,050 offers were made (including PPOs) during Phase I IIT Delhi placements 2024. Further, a total of 1,000 students were uniquely selected during IIT Delhi placement 2024 (phase 1). Apart from this, more than 50 international offers (including PPOs) were received from around 20 international companies during Phase I IIT Delhi placement 2024. Moreover, Core (Technical) sector emerged as the top recruiting sector that placed 20.7% of the total students. Earlier, as per some unofficial sources, IIT Delhi average package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 21.9 LPA.

Really good infrastructure and the most reputed institute for engineering in India.

Placements: Most students in this course are unplaced because many students choose other careers, such as civil services, consulting, or coding, instead of their core branch. However, those who are placed get decent packages, averaging about 8 lakhs.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostels is not that great, but the study areas like the library and lecture halls are very well developed. The classrooms are fully air conditioned. Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus and the speed is decent. The mess food is awesome, but it is expensive.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are also very helpful and hold doubt sessions to help students understand difficult concepts. Semester exams are not very difficult if we study regularly. More than 90% of students pass. The course curriculum prepares students for placements in their respective fields.

Other: I chose this college because it is one of the most reputed institutes for engineering. It is also well known for its cultural fest, which is considered to be the largest north Indian cultural fest. The best thing about this college is that you will be surrounded by brilliant minds from all over the country.

Totally satisfied with good facilities.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed. The highest package was something around 40 LPA and the lowest package was 6 LPA. BCG and Microsoft were among the top companies. Here most of the people go for tech sector jobs or consultancy jobs. Almost 20% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: The college has a very good infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available everywhere with high-speed internet. The facilities provided to us are amazing. They provide almost every book to study in the library. Mess food is also very decent not too good. And there are also night messes which are open at night.

Faculty: The teachers are not so good, they have a very good amount of knowledge but they are more research-oriented people, sometimes they lack interaction with students. Also, the course structure varies from person to person. Almost everyone got passed.

IIT Delhi: The average college in India.

Placements: IIT Delhi has a strong placement record for Textile Engineering students. About 80% of students secure jobs through campus placements. The placement cell works with top recruiters to provide students with valuable preparation resources and support.

Infrastructure: IIT Delhi's hostel infrastructure is in dire need of an upgrade. Many of the hostels are over 60 years old, and have seen minimal renovation or upgrades in recent years. A modern update would greatly improve the overall living experience. The IITD hospital also has its limitations, with a shortage of well-qualified doctors and outdated facilities. This can make it challenging for students to receive quality medical care on campus. On a positive note, the library stands out as a valuable resource, offering a well-organized, quiet space for study, with a wide range of academic resources and materials that effectively support the academic needs of students.

Faculty: IIT Delhi's Textile Engineering department has highly qualified, knowledgeable, and committed professors. They make complex topics understandable and help students develop technical skills and analytical thinking. However, the administration, including certain deans and the academic body, can be difficult to deal with. Their strict policies and rigid grading practices can be stressful and affect students' CGPA outcome. Students may feel that there is less flexibility and support for their well-being and academic growth.

I expected more than what I found in my college .

Placements: Almost 60% of students were placed recently, with the highest package being 2.4 crores per annum and the lowest package being 20 lacs per annum, and the top roles of our course are part designing and parts manufacturing. Most of the core companies come to my college to provide placement in my college.

Infrastructure: There are all kinds of labs we need in mechanical engineering that are available; hostel quality is excellent, and also a very good food they avail us, canteens and night mess are also available near the hostel, and all medical, sports, and games facilities are available; also, Wi-Fi is provided to us just outside the room.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful. And their teaching quality is also excellent, qualified, and knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is also good. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready; of course, the semester exams are a bit difficult.

Other: Because of my rank in JEE adv., I am eligible for IIT Delhi mechanical engineering, so I choose ME. Events, fests, campus crowds, etc. all things are very good, and I enjoy all those activities.

This college hostel has the best facilities provided to the students. In this college and hostel, the canteen food is the same, and it is very tasty, and it is like homemade food.

Faculty: The college teachers are very intelligent, and in this college, teachers have a very high degree of education, like Ph.D. scholars, M.Tech, etc. These types of teachers are available. In this course, the curriculum is so good. This course is a total of 5 years in duration, and there are 5 to 7 semester exams.
