The best college in the country-IISc.

Placements: The placements in our college were the best in the country. My classmate and I got the best placement for our career. Meanwhile, we got the internship from the worlds top institution of Astrophysics. That's all possible due to the recommendation from our renowned faculty, who were the top in their own field among the world. Our placements are possible because of them only and our hard work and dedication towards the research. It was a good experience.

One of the best placements among indian universities, beautiful campus life.

Placements: 100% placement records at management studies, which is rare case among Indian B-Schools, but quite usual at IISc. Several sharp minded people to interact with. Average CTC for management studies is around INR 16LPA, as per current status. Huge giants like kpmg, samsung, walmart, jp morgan c, citi bank, shell, de shaw, google, amazon, apple, cognizant, tcs etc. Are the old and still current recruiters.

A good campus for higher research with good food and it's the best in india.

Placements: Placements for electrical engineering is good. Average package is 15 Lacs. Companies like intel, Qualcomm, Schneider electric, MAXLINEAR, rambus, TI and many other CIRCUIT COMPANIES VISIT THE COMPANIRS AND THEY ARE IN NEED OF engineers. My senior batch were 6 out of which 5 got placed. From this year onwards, 2018 companies are allowed to come for internships too. So of my batch mates got intern.

Absolutely satisfied, a dream come true @IISc.

Placements: There is centralised Placement cell. Everyone gets placed here. The highest went around 33lpa, while average salary was 21 LPA. Roles like Data scientist, SDE, System engineer, Research jobs were there. In internship recruitment, around 20 offers were made in Slot 1, where around 6 or 7 accepted. Sometimes Project advisory does't allow to go for internship, because they have some other useful work for you in summers. The highest stipend offer was 1lac per month, by Goldman sachs, while average w...

Best institute for Research scholars, the highest standerd of Teaching and Education.

Placements: Up to last year, placement scenario was not worth enough that the student even from the top institute were not satisfied with the job getting from the placement. Up to last year there was not any specific placement cell (there was placement coordinator, who used to contact the HR), Even though placement coordinator has other work from department itself, so he/she could't able to give full time to placement activities. Last year from my department, there were total 8to 9 students who were interes...

It is one of the best colleges.

Placements: Domestic companies offer a package of 14 LPA to 23 LPA, and less than ten companies offer above 25 LPA. Average package offered was 18 LPA. Students preferred by IT companies are in following department order, CSA, CDS, electrical department, mathematics and science. Placements happen from October to November season. People are least bothered about placements, because of research focus. Placement is by the product of laborious study.

Indian Institute of Science: the best place in India.

Placements: Mostly, M.Tech students will opt for PhD. There is a newly established placement cell here. Previously the placements were directly recommended by the professors. In civil engineering, M.Tech students will get an average package of Rs. 6 to 9 lakhs per annum, and yes, it is not very great. But, the job profile will be of the research and development.

The college is heaven for innovators and not too bad for jobseekers.

Placements: This institute is very much research oriented, and so are the students. Many students prefer going for higher studies or continue their research work over placements so judging IISc in the basis of placement won't be justified. Will just say, whosoever need a job get a decent job. The minimum 8 LPA packages with no bar on top packages which varies from 15-25 LPA CTC. In January, half of the students are placed, and all interested are expected to get jobs by March. The companies like Bajaj, Mahin...

A beautiful, peaceful, and knowledgeable place.

Placements: The placements are always good. The top companies in the field like Qualcomm, MediaTek, Intel, etc., have a huge demand for the communication engineers. So, the perfection from the side of the students earns them good jobs easily. Many start-ups recruit the students, but the students in the coursework are less. The jobs are relatively more in number. The maximum CTC will be up to 30 LPA, and the average is approximately around 12 LPA.

Placements: Placement has never been a problem in Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Science. The average CTC was around 15 LPA last year. Top companies like GE, KPMG, Citi, Walmart, etc. regularly visit the campus. The students also do their internship in respectable companies with an average stipend of around 35-40k per month.

Awesome place to be there, if you are researcher, it is the best place in India.

Placements: My institute gives the best placement to ME and BS guys. Even though the people are busy in research, it provides better opportunities if someone wants to join the companies. Student Councils help students in securing their jobs and all. Up to my knowledge, the best salary my Senior got as post-doctoral fellow was 4700 USD/month and one friend who joined an Indian company gets 25 Lacs per year. There is more to do than you think.

It is one of the best among world's top college for Science and Technology. It is the mother of all IITs. It was set up by Jamshedji Tata taking inspiration from Swami Vivekananda during visit of Chicago. If you are addicted by pure and advanced science and technology, then no other institute can give you better choice than Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Best institute for higher studies. It is probably the best campus that an Indian college can EVER have. During my stay there, I was personally in love with the campus. The campus being within the city areas of Mathikere and Malleswaram, one feels as if one has entered a hidden paradise! The only other institute in India which can equal the scenic beauty of IISc Bangalore is IIT Guwahati.

One of the best college to pursue under graduate studies in the field of engineering and technology. The faculties of the college are renowned scientists and are experts in their respective fields. The students can get admission only through AIEEE, hence the students represent some of the best young minds in the country. The facilities are great, and the labs are equipped with latest instruments and machines to promote up to date learning in the students.

Overall, if you're a topper or something, you can join; it's good for you.

Placements: There are around 2,000 students there, and out of them, only 60% got a nice job. The highest package is 50 LPA, but you have to do your own research before taking admission there. I strongly recommend you check other information as well before making a decision.
