It is an awesome college for studies, but it is good for other activities.

Placements: The college provides 100% placements. The average salary package offered is 20 LPA. Companies like Google, Facebook, TCS, and many other reputed companies visited the campus for placements. The highest salary package offered is more than 1 crore per annum. The college provides both domestic and international placements. Internship data is not clear. There is a coding culture in college. If you like coding, then you will not find a better place than here in India.

The fee structure is high, but I am completely satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placements provided in our college are great. A lot of companies visit the college to offer placements. But, the only disadvantage is, the college charges 8% of the basic salary from the company, and because of that, a lot of start-ups are not able to offer placements to the students in our college.

A dream of every student is to get a degree in IIIT Basar to reach their goals.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Faculty members try their best to make students get the job through college placements. They organise some special activities to inspire students. Almost everyone will get good salary packages because of the faculty members as they help us to prepare well.

Really very good placements and infrastructure as well.

Placements: Till now every year 100% students are placed. Big tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Qualcomm, Nvidia also come in the placement drive. In case of computer Science the lowest package this year was 6lpa and the highest was 32lpa (excluding overseas offers) and avg. Package offered was 18lpa. A special students placement cell is there in the institute to help you throughout the process.

Great faculty but lack of infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: The placements were pretty impressive for students in computer Science, about 98-100 percent students were placed and the average package was above 9-11lpa. The highest salary was about 45lpa and the lowest was 6lpa. All the students were placed in technical engineering positions (software/hardware). Around 30 percent of students had got internships. The average stipend would be around 20-30k per month. Yes there is a placement cell, it is pretty effective.

Best for Computer Science.

Placements: There are 100% placements in IIIT-H. The batch before me saw 100% placements. The highest salary offered in India was 40lac and the lowest 10lac. All the big companies visit the campus and many small startups that offer good money. Data Scientist and Software engineering roles are offered. Around 70% students got internship the rest were more focused on research work. The highest stipend offered in India for internship is 1lac by Goldmann Sachs and the lowest is 10k by ISB. The college focuses much on learning.

Placements: The placements in our college are very good. All the students got placed, and there was no confusion during the placement process. Every placement offered was genuine. Many MNCs and startups visited the college. Although official stats remain disclosed, I heard the highest package is Rs. 1.25 Cr per annum (equivalent USD).

This is one of the best tech-schools in the country.

Placements: The college has a 100% placement record. Major product based companies like Apple, Microsoft, DirectI, Code Nation, Tower Research, etc., visit the campus to conduct placements as well as training. The average salary package offered for the previous batch was around 15 LPA, and the highest package went up to 30 LPA.

Placements: We have 100% placements. People here get an average package of about 16 LPA for CSE and 10 LPA for ECE. Some of the companies visited are philips, Google, Facebook, apple, Goldman Sachs, Nvidia, Qualcomm, Samsung etc. Mostly offered roles are developers.

I have highly recommended for CSE and just average in ECE.

Placements: Placements are good for CSE in the college. There are many companies visit this college like Google, Microsoft, Goldmann Sachs, Nvidia, Qualcomm and Intel. Almost there are 100% placements for B.Tech students in the college. For CSE average package offered is 12 LPA and for ECE 10 LPA. The highest for ECE would be around 16 LPA and for CSE around 24 LPA. Students take part in a placement cell in the college.

I would recommend anyone to take admission if they are capable of managing the hectic curriculum.

Placements: Placements in IIIT Hyderabad is 100%. IIIT placements are no less than Placements in NIT's, IIT's and other reputed government institutions of India. Internships are offered from the college with maximum of 1.5lakhs and minimum of 8K stipend. Some of the world known companies like Microsoft, Google, DE-Shaw, Facebook, Apple etc. Come for placements.

The college is excellent for excellent people.

Placements: Regarding ECE, placements are on par with IIT's. The average salary package was 13.8 lacs per annum, the lowest was 7 LPA, and the highest was 25 LPA. Here, ECE students have many opportunities. Here, the students can feel the research culture. Even undergraduate students can do research in their 3 and 4th years. We have different research labs, and the students join in one of the labs and assist the professor in their work, and this gives an industrial feel. It depends on the student whether th...

The college provides good placements, but there is more competition.

Placements: Placements in our college are good, and most of the students are opting for higher studies. Their research was really good, so they would most probably do their PhD abroad. Few students might go for their job which they got through placements. I don't know the companies which visit our campus as I am from the civil department. The college does not guarantee many placements for branches which are not CSE based.

A bit of both, good and bad.

Placements: I am not completely sure about the placements but they were good. The average salary for a student of computer Science goes about 14 Lacs. As far as I know almost everyone got placed. We have a body that tells everyone about companies that come and when all the coding rounds are going to be held. As far as I know about internships, I think almost everyone in my batch got an internship.

If you can manage your time properly, then IIIT is the best place.

Placements: The placements are good in IIIT, Hyderabad. It is known for good packages. Every year, there are 100% placements on the campus. The lowest salary package was around 6-8 LPA, and the highest was 40-50 LPA. The average salary package was around 12-14 LPA. Almost all the students who tried for an internship got internships in some good companies. Placements: Placements for our batch is still to be done in the coming December and placements for our senior batch completed last December. Usually placements happen at the end of 4-1 semester in which dual degree students of previous batches are also added, that is for dual degree students placements take place in 5-1 semester. Placements: Placements at IIITH have always been promising. Students generally tend to get PPO (Pre placement offers) from their internships. Overall the placements have been cent percent, with an average package of 18.8 Lacs per annum (2017) for CSE.
