College doesn't matter much, all depends on how much a student can put himself to right exposure.

Placements: Placements were good but could have been better for my batch as well as senior batch, rules of placements are not good in college. The highest salary was 7 LPA and the lowest was 2 LPA. Many mechanical companies came but socially for sales profile and lesser for core technical.

I am dissatisfied with placements and faculty members.

Placements: YMCA has below average placements for mechanical engineering. Less than half of our batch got placed, and same was the case with our seniors. There were only a few prominent companies which visited the campus. Rest others offered a very low salary package. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA.

No placement but faculty are very nice.

Placements: Not good in placement for management of business administration. They have to work on placement more and more. No one is placed from university efforts so basically for MBA there is 0% placement. Company visited the campus but they were not for MBA. Only for B.Tech students there is good placement.

I am not satisfied with placement opportunities.

Placements: Placements for MBA students are not too good here. Only 20-30% of students get placed through campus placements. The average salary offered was Rs. 20,000-30,000 per month in the previous batch. Internship opportunities are also not satisfactory. Almost 20 students out of 120 students from our batch got placed for internships. However, placement conditions are improving in the current batch. Now, many students got internships with a good stipend. Some students of 2019 batch are also placed with ...

Good infrastructure but lacks employment and development opportunities for students.

Placements: Placements were not very good (at least when I graduated). Average package offered by the companies during the placements were around 2 lakhs. The companies which used to visit the college were not very known or credible in terms of their market presence and value.

Overall, it is a decent college.

Placements: Placements in our college were good for branches like CS and IT. However, the college needs to improve the placements of other branches. Only a few companies visit our campus for placements of other branches, and it was quite disheartening. Moreover, even fewer companies visited our campus for summer internships. The salary package offered to students of other branches was also quite less.

Overall it is a good college but needs to improve in some aspects.

Placements: The placement cell is pretty great. They try their level best to provide placement opportunities to as many students as they can. They invite many companies for placements. The placement head has great contacts. But students are not that great to grab the opportunities provided.

It's a very simple college with good studies but placement rate is less.

Placements: The college provides very few placement opportunities, and that too, it is very rare for the technical department. Students of management departments and diploma have more placement opportunities in the college. So, you better don't hope for any placement from this college. But, the college offers good education, and one can get a job based on their knowledge.

There is no entertainment in the college. They provide only theoretical knowledge.

Placements: The placements in the college were not good at our time. The students of our stream were called up for interviews in the field of sales and teaching which were way different from the field we pursued our degree. There were very few companies that came to our college, and only a couple of companies recruited students from our field and that too at very low salary packages. On the whole, the placements were very poor. We were not offered any internships. We had to find them ourselves. We had prope...

A review of YMCA University Of Science And Technology by an average student.

Placements: Placements in the college are good for the students of finance and marketing sectors, but students who want to opt for the HR department should not take admission in this college. Around 14 out of 120 students get placed through campus drives, and I have no idea about others. Not a single student from the HR domain gets placed. If you really think you have enough talent and want to outperform yourself, its better to take admission in any other college in Delhi or apply for XLRI, CAT or any other...

The college is up to the mark for placements.

Placements: Very few placements are offered to the students of the electrical branch as those students mostly have government job opportunities. Very few companies visit the college for electrical students. The college has a training and placement office to look after all these processes. This office coordinates with the class representatives to give information regarding placements.

Average in terms of infrastructure, good placements for specific branches.

Placements: There is a training and placement cell in the University. It acts as a medium between students and the companies. As per regarding electrical. The placement records aren't much satisfactory. As electrical branch mainly revolves around government jobs and all that. Only few students of electrical are placed in jobs regarding their core branches.

Good infrastructure but the institute does not have enough resources for their students placement.

Placements: The placement during our bath and that of our seniors were not very positive and hence majority of the students from our batch had to attempt for the offcampus placement drives. Also, for the internship, students were to apply on tier own and the summer internship were not be provided by the institute.

Placements: The placement in my college is not good. They didn't call any company for the placement. The students suffers a lot due to no placement in our college. They advertise alot regarding placements but there was not such facilities at all. The college don't think about the future of the students at all.

Great Infrastructure, Facilities and Faculty, Not so good Placement and. Choose your options Wisely.

Placements: I joined B.Tech. In 2012, the placements were quite as compared to the time when I passed out. The year 2016, when I passed out placements were negligible. Whoever got into the industry got job themselves by going for off campus placements. Who got job through college placements weren't even good, like got placed but the company asked for some amount as security amount before joining and it was a one room office. So, all in all its not a great institute from the placements point of view.

Placements: When I joined the college in 2012, the placements in college were good, but when I was ready to get placements, IT companies were missing in the drives. Only five companies came for placements which were related to BPO or CS training which means they will train you first and you have to fill bond papers for minimum 2 years. Placements: The placements at YMCA UST, Faridabad for electrical branch are somewhat average. TCS is a mass recruiter coming to YMCA. The placements of other branches like CS or IT were better as compared to electrical or EIC branch at the university. Some companies also come for summer internships for electrical engineering.

It is an average college for average students.

Placements: The placements in our college is a big issue. Only the companies with BPO profiles visit the college to conduct placements. If a student is good at communication skills, he will definitely get placed in BPO, as only those are available. The management says that the college provides good placements, but don't believe it. I suggest students not to join this college if you want to have a good future.
