    Really satisfied with the college.
Placements: Around 70-80% students were placed in various good companies such as Tata, Mahindra, etc. The highest package got upto 8lpa, lowest was 2lpa and average was 4-5lpa. Students got their internship in hamdard laboratories.
Infrastructure: Well furnished classes with highly educated doctorate degrees, Mess and canteen is amazing, food was also very good. Every year the MBA department organises Cricket league and various other sporting events. They organize sports week every year with activities.
Faculty: Teachers are always helpful and supportive. They make students ready for the industry. Exams' difficulty level is above average. The environment is really good and the teachers are really supportive overall if you have prepared well then surely you will pass in exams.

Campus is quite big and nice.
Placements: It depends upon the students. If a student is good then he or she can get 5 LPA easily and more than that also. There are various MBA programmes available in JHU like MBA, MBA Pharma and MBA health. MBA general has specialisation in HR, marketing, etc.
Infrastructure: We have smart classes. There is Wi-Fi for all the students and library in each department as well as a central library for all. There are various hostels for boys and girls and laundry service is available. Food is provided three times including evening and morning tea. A sports ground is available for all. There are various canteens in the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Almost every teacher holds a Ph.D. degree. Their teaching skills are very good and they are cooperative. Teachers do make us industry ready. The semester exams are quite tough and the pass percentage is 40%. Internal marks play a very important role.

JAMIA HAMDARD - A DREAM COLLEGE.
Placements: The placements are good and the university provides placement in various organizations. Almost 75% of the batch is placed every year. Many students get internships in pharmaceutical companies who are pursuing pharmaceutical management and got internship opportunities as well.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but can be a little better. The labs are well-equipped. The Wi-Fi doesn't have strong strength and have poor connectivity. The hostel is average and can be better in terms of food and infrastructure also. Library is well-equipped with various journals, books, research papers etc.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly educated and are knowledgeable as well. The course curriculum is relevant and well framed as per the UGC guidelines. End semester examinations are held in every 6 months and passing percentage is above 70% to be eligible to pass the semester and promoted to Next semester.
Other: MBA-in healthcare management is a specialized course which provides various career growth opportunities in future in the diverse healthcare domains. The events, fest, crowd, and connectivity are good.

This college is average but has no good placements.
Placements: Placements are not good in this college. Very few or sometimes no companies visit the campus for placements. They provide the reference and then students need to apply for the interview by themselves only. Very few students get placed. The average salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Not a good college in terms of placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average in this college. Students will get access to Wi-Fi on the campus. The classrooms are provided with an air-conditioner. It also provided a library. Hostel facilities are also average. The food served in the hostel is average and the services provided are also average.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and helpful. Some of the teachers have great knowledge about their subject, and share the good experience. But some are very low in terms of teaching. The course curriculum is up to mark, and the semester exams are also average. Students will clear them, if they know the subject perfectly. They mostly focus only on theory.
Other: The college rarely organise any fest, they usually do organise some events which include singing and sufi nights. They also call famous personalities for the events.

It has the best campus and faculty members.
Placements: The placements scenario is average here. The chance of on-campus placement is pretty low. About 25% of students got placed in the MBA programme. The highest salary package offered ranges from 5-6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered ranges from 2-3 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges from 4-4.5 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, etc., visit our college for placements. About 20% of the students from our course got an internship.
Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like free Wi-Fi, a sports room, huge library, 1-2 canteens for each department, neat and clean classrooms, medical facility, the best campus, many parks with abundant greenery and separate hostels for both boys and girls. The college severely lacks infrastructure as there are no air-conditioned or smart boards facilities.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified, experienced, good and helpful. Classes are held regularly, and the syllabus is completed on time. It also ranked 37 in the overall rankings in 2020 by the NIRF. Semester exams are not that difficult, and you can clear them easily if you study well. The pass percentage is 30%.
Other: I have chosen this course because of its best campus, library and also other facilities. It is deemed university and is an MCI, AICTE approved. NAAC accredited A grade to this college. The campus crowd and surroundings are good. Our college does not provide scholarships for students.

It is the best college in South Delhi.
Placements: Placements are very good here, and almost 80% of the students get placements. Top companies like TCS, Infosys, Max, Wipro, etc., visit our college for placements. Top roles offered are data analyst and data interpreter. Internships are also offered to students. The top salary package offered was 9 LPA, whereas the average salary package offered was 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has a very good infrastructure, and it is spread over 6 acres in the centre of South Delhi. There is a hostel, but its fee is very high. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled and air-conditioned. Our college also has 4 to 5 canteens and best medical facilities.
Faculty: Mostly, teachers are PhD and doctorate holders here. There is a total of more than 1,000 faculty members who teach to around more than 25,000 students. Teachers are quite much knowledgeable, and they teach through projectors. The course curriculum is very good, and students are almost ready for industry exposure.

    A:
    {Source: MBA/PGDM students & alumni}

Worthiness of Investment in MBA/PGDM Program at Jamia Hamdard University, Delhi

Based on the reviews from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Pros:

    * Good faculty members with doctoral degrees, known for their teaching and industry experience.
    * Relevant course curriculum aligned with UGC guidelines.
    * Decent placements, with around 70-80% of students getting placed every year.
    * Average salary package ranging from INR4-INR5 Lacs per annum.
    * Strong emphasis on practical learning, preparing students for industry exposure.
    * Well-maintained infrastructure, including Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms and libraries.
    * Active placement cell striving to bring in more companies for internships and placements.

    Cons:

    * Placements are not exceptional, with most companies being start-ups.
    * Limited on-campus recruitment, requiring students to pursue off-campus opportunities.
    * Infrastructure could be improved, particularly in terms of cleanliness and maintenance.
    * Limited availability of scholarships for students.
    * Course curriculum might lack depth in certain areas.

Overall, while Jamia Hamdard University, Delhi offers a decent MBA/PGDM programme with good faculty and infrastructure, it falls short in terms of exceptional placements and limited scholarship opportunities. Students seeking a robust placement track record may consider exploring other options. However, those looking for a well-rounded education with industry exposure and reasonable salaries might find this programme worthwhile.

Q:   How effective is the placement cell for MBA/PGDM courses at Jamia Hamdard University Delhi?

    A:
    {Source: MBA/PGDM students & alumni}

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for MBA/PGDM Courses at Jamia Hamdard University, Delhi

    * Placement efforts: The Placement Officer (TPO) and student-placement coordinators are making efforts to invite companies to the campus, although their success rate is currently low.
    * Company visits: Reputed companies are not regularly visiting the campus for internships or placements. However, startups have started participating in the recruitment process, which is a recent trend.
    * Off-campus placements: Majority of the placements are being done off-campus, and the institution's efforts are focused on improving this aspect.
    * Student initiatives: Students themselves have taken the initiative to establish a Management Club to bring in companies to the campus, showcasing their proactive approach.
    * Limited placement data: While some batches have reported successful placements, such as those who secured positions at TopYa, Sharekhan, Genpact, etc., more detailed information on overall placement rates and trends is lacking.

Overall, while the placement cell at Jamia Hamdard University appears to be actively engaged in seeking out opportunities for students, the effectiveness of these efforts seems limited due to the absence of regular company visits and relatively poor track record of on-campus placements.
