Beautiful campus and infrastructure.

Placements: I don't know about placements because I study in Faculty of dentistry, and dentists do not get placements. After the graduation, we have to fight the entrance for the post graduation. But as far as I know from the students of the other faculty members, placements are good here in Jamia.

Review of Jamia Millia Islamia - JMI.

Placements: About 50% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Kuoni Travel and MakeMyTrip visit our campus for placements. Almost 100% of the students from our course got an internship. Maximum students got an internship in Suryaa Hotel and the rest at several local travel agencies.

Placements are decent and much good if you are good at coding.

Placements: Most of the student get placed from our college. This year almost 70% of the students got placements, mostly from the IT sector (information technology). The highest salary package offered this year was 22 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was about 8 LPA. Oyo Rooms is the top recruiter for our course, and companies like L&T, Siemens, etc., also recruit students from here. About 70% of the students got internships in various PSUs (public sect...

Good college in terms of ROI.

Placements: Placements are above average for our branch. Our major recruiter is l&t. I myself got placed with the same. On an average the package offered is around 6 lacs per annum. Although many students are looking for higher education, college tries it's level best to provide placement opportunities to all. Around 80% of the placement seeking students get placed through college itself.

Good performance in University and faculty ranking.

Placements: Last year almost 35 percent students from civil engineering department recruited in various civil core companies and also 20 percent students recruited in computer, IT sector. The highest package is 15 Lacs per annum (civil core ). And the minimum package is 4 Lacs per annum, average package in civil department is about to 5 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are L&T limited, DLF limited, HSIL limited. Top roles offered are project manager in designing, structural engineer. 65% students g...

I am very much satisfied with my college. As a student my only concern will be the better placement.

Placements: Many companies have come to the campus but not literally everyone sits for those. As the expectations of students are more than actually the package is provided by the companies reaching to this stage students have already spend lot of money and effort in getting the admissions. Top companies were like UTC Honda Decalthon. To be very honest not a lot of students get the placement. Placement cell is actually very good they have to put in effort. Rest the infrastructure and administration is great...

Good College, can do with younger and Energetic Teachers, decent placements, decent infrastructure.

Placements: Around 40-50 % of total students were placed, many students were placed mostly in software companies, just a few got 15lpa plus, with one of them getting 22lpa offered by Innovacer. , the lowest package offered was by TCS ( 3.5lpa ), the average package offered would be around 6lpa. , around 30% of total students got internship too ( on campus ), from Companies like UHG, Zia Electronics and Siemens also came majorly for ECE. And so on.

The college has a good campus, infrastructure and teaching in our department should be better.

Placements: Many students after B.A. does not apply for jobs, but out of those who attended the placements, 50-60% of students got selected. The salary package offered ranges from Rs. 20,000-30,000 per month. Students mostly got selected in companies like Fortis and AIMS. All students get to do internships in this course in the last semester. It is compulsory to do an internship, and the department helps students to do.

ROI is quite good with all the necessary facilities and good brand value.

Placements: Placements at Jamia are average, but as compared to other engineering colleges, it is good. Major recruiting companies in the civil branch are L&T, JK Birla, etc. Last year 50% of the student got placed with the help of the college. The average salary offered was around Rs. 30,000 per month. Most of the job profile offered was an associate engineer.

I suggest that there should be more improvement in the placement cell.

Placements: Placements depend on your branch if you are from CSE or ECE then there will be almost 100% placements. In this year, the highest salary package is offered by Microsoft to a student, which is 41 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Many students got good internship offers in companies like Trident, Tata, Siemens, etc.

The college provides great faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: About 40% of the students were placed either in Axiom or Wipro. Most of the students want to continue their studies further and apply for PhD, so they didn't join any organisation. The remaining students were interested in doing entrepreneurial activities.

Good infrastructure, average placements, minimal fee.

Placements: Placements are average. Core electronics companies coming are few. Most students get placed in the IT domain in Wipro and TCS. If you are good at coding, you can get placed in IT companies offering higher packages. Anyways, the return on investment is very good.

I had a great experience here.

Placements: Jamia has its own central university placement cell. This department takes cares and manages all the matters related to placements. So we don't have specific placement event for our course. Every department has its own placement cell coordinator who communicates between the board of placement cell and students, with the help of other student volunteers.

The college has a good infrastructure. The campus is lush green.

Placements: Our university has a University Placement Cell which manages all the matter related to placements. Every department/faculty has its own placement supervisor, with two-three student volunteers, who communicate all the information regarding placements. If I talk about internships in our field, i.e., in psychology, no one gets a stipend as such. But we have to pay the fee to get the work.

A good college but don't rely much on the college. You have to work hard to do something.

Placements: Placements for computer science are good, but for other branches, students have to work hard to get placed, i.e., 6 or 7 students were placed from the batch of 70 students, whereas in CS, approximately 90% of the students got placed easily. Students of non-core branches can sit for IT companies if they have some skills.

The college has excellent infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite good. Almost 70% of students were placed in our batch. There is also a placement cell which takes care of it. Students have to arrange internships on their own. However, the placement department is quite careful about their responsibilities. Reputed companies along with startups visit here for placements.

Placements: The Placement at Jamia is neither good or bad. The computer Department Placement is very good average Placement always greater than 10 lacks. Then electronics and then electrical and mechanical And civil placement bad. For mechanical L&T company come regularly. And for electrical Siemens company come regularly. TCS is mass recruiter. Overall, good eight years in Jamia.

Placements: Though there's a placement cell in Jamia but there are very few courses in Jamia which provide college placements and in my course there was no placement. Infact there was no internship as well. There should have been atleast a month long field work but that too was conducted for just two days. I had applied for internship on my own.
