Average life in Jamia Millia Islamia.
Placements: There is no placement in my course. It depends on self-growth. There is no package. No companies are coming for my course. We are usually preparing for government jobs. We can get internships by applying ourselves, but they are not provided by the university. We can do a master's, prepare for government exams, and pursue a PhD in our respective fields.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very nice. There is a well-managed garden and playground in the university. Library and Wi-Fi facilities are available 24 hours. Canteen and mess facilities are also available, and mess food is average. Medical facilities are available in the university, along with a sports complex.
Faculty: The faculty is very nice, well-educated, good, and very helpful. But, course curriculum is outdated and old, which does not provide the skills that we need. There is nothing industry-ready in my course. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. If students want to score average marks, they can easily do so, but if students want to score good marks, they have to study very well. The percentage of passing is 40.
Other: There is a good environment for preparing for government exams like UPSC, CSE, CHAL, etc. The location of the university is very good, and many events occur at the university. We can also participate in extracurricular activities. But scholarship facilities are not provided by the university.

Why should you join B.Ed in jamia.
Placements: Only 20% of students are placed, and they are most talented. The rest do not get placements. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. There is one company that visited the campus, but one can also apply to normal private colleges as a teacher. The university provides 100% internship (as a training teacher) in various schools in Delhi with no salary. Roles include observation, teaching, and other related tasks. There is no stipend for the internships provided by university, which could be improved by offering a stipend to benefit students.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure and environment, with various opportunities for extracurricular activities. Wi-Fi facility is available 24/7 in both the hostel and university. Classrooms are average, but library facilities are nice. Hostels are quite good, and common room facilities are available, but the quality of food is not good enough. Medical facilities are available, but the gaming facilities are not so good.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable qualified and teach properly but there is limited one-on-one interaction. Course is good for teaching field who want to become a government teacher but enough to be university ready. Semester exams are not very difficult, it is easy to pass the examination. Passing percentage criteria is 40%.
Other: Since I am visually impaired, I want to help other visually disabled people and teach so that I can contribute to society. There aren't many events at the university, except for the Foundation Day program. Campus surroundings are very nice and well-managed, with a well-maintained garden, good connectivity, and a metro station nearby. No scholarship has been provided by the university yet.

Best campus, bad infrastructure of Psychology department, and best faculties.
Placements: As I am a psychology student, placement in this course is not that active on my campus. But there is a placement cell with which we have affiliation. But the thing is, my seniors (the previous passed-out batch) have been admitted to different universities for M.Phil. and PhD.
Infrastructure: Hostel is good. There is good infrastructure and mess. But the Department of Psychology is bad. There are no separate class rooms for PG and UG. Programmes are conducted on corridors. There is free WiFi on campus. We have a vast library and large reading halls with air conditioning. We have many canteens where Veg and Non-Veg are available. We have fee consultation facilities at the hospital. We have a big sports complex where we can practice.
Faculty: Faculties are really helpful. But syllabus is not that updated. There are two sessions before every semester exams, and every exam was conducted on time. The semester exam is not that difficult for those who studied. At least two modules from every subject come in the exams.
Other: It was my dream to study in Jamia. By God's grace, I cracked the entrance exam and got admission. The campus is perfect, and the events here are entertaining. Only negative is the bad infrastructure of the psychology department. Also, the best thing about my course is the compulsory internship during the third semester; it was a really good experience and will make us capable of becoming good psychologists.

I'm satisfied with the value for money.
Placements: Around 50%-70% of students got placed from our stream. The highest package offered in Jamia Millia Islamia is 25 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 6 LPA. Some recruiters are TCS, KPMG, and Microsoft.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good a bit old type. Wi-Fi speed is decent. For freshers there are enough classrooms, classes are not overcrowded, the bad part as freshers there are no air-conditioners in class. Library is quite spacious and one of the calmest places in the university. Hostel is quite affordable, and the quality of food served is quite good. Food available in canteen is not that worth the money. Medical facility is excellent, university has its own hospital, which is free of cost, and cleanliness is maintained by hospital authority.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and helpful. They teach passionately. Course curriculum is not updated and is a bit irrelevant ( we are taught Biology Constitution in 1st year). Overall, environment does really help students to make them industry-ready. The ease or difficulty level of semester exams is dependent, some may be a bit tough, while others might be easier.

College is quite good as the ROI is very good.
Placements: Around 70% of computer engineering students are placed. Top recruiters are Accenture, Zenon Analytics, and ZS Associates. Around 40% of students got internships, but it solely depends on the students. The top roles offered were related to consulting, full-stack development, and software development.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very average according to me. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus, and we have libraries for different departments. The central library is fully air-conditioned, but engineering library has only fans. We have all the basic amenities in the hostel, and hostel food is quite good. We also have a sports complex, but the timing is not feasible for students as it is closed on weekends.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Course curriculum is quite relevant as data science is the fastest-growing technology nowadays. Semester exams are medium-level. Currently, I am in the first semester, so I don't know about the passing percentage.
Other: This is the only college I could get into with my JEE rank, the best thing about my course is that it is the most emerging technology nowadays. I think the curriculum could have been better, and the events and fests are very few compared to other colleges.

Dissatisfied with infrastructure considering the fact that this is a central university.
Placements: This course offers roles like counselor, psychologist, teacher, and trainer. However, practical knowledge is crucial for success in these professions. While theoretical learning is provided, real-world skills like communication, empathy, and problem-solving are essential. A focus on internships, fieldwork, and hands-on practice is needed to bridge the gap between theory and practical application, ensuring students are well-prepared for these roles.
Infrastructure: A key issue is the lack of specific allotted classrooms for each year. We are sitting in lab classrooms with limited space and uncomfortable chairs. Additionally, there is no efficient cooling system, making it difficult to focus during extreme weather conditions.
Faculty: While some teachers are qualified and helpful, others fall short in delivering quality education. Additionally, the course syllabus is outdated, lacking relevance to current trends and practices in the field, which impacts the overall learning experience and skill development of students.
