Alluring campus with intellectual minds.
Placements: Students from Economics and B.Com get placed in large numbers. Placement in other departments depends on skill sets. Top recruiting companies are De Shaw, EY, and McKinsey. Many students choose to do internships outside campus for better opportunities. Overall, placements are good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, especially in the new building. The library has over 2 lakh books and a wide variety. College hostels are temporarily closed and under construction; plus, they are available only for first-years. But the hostels are really good and clean and have a good environment.
Faculty: Professors are very knowledgeable. They are generally Ph.D. holders and have been experienced for 30+ years. Their teaching methods are par excellence. Semester exams, more than tough, are lengthy, and the pass percentage is over 95%. The course curriculum is very relevant.
Other: LSR has had a prestigious name for years due to its strong alumnae network and academic achievements, so that's why I wanted to be a part of this. Lastly, the campus is breathtaking.

LSR magic with best faculty members and infrastructure .
Placements: Lady Shri Ram College for Women is a great college. In my department, political science, there are not many placements, but students can apply for internships and get experience that way. However, in other departments, such as economics, Lady Shri Ram has the highest placement of 49LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch, and the campus has a hill vibe to it. The canteen doesn't have a lot of variety, but the seating area is great. There are endless opportunities for sports, and students can even enroll in the National Sports Organization. And for added convenience, there are sanitary pad machines on every floor.
Faculty: They faculty are highly rated and very knowledgeable. Students can get a lot of information from them and even get help with research projects. Semester exams are generally of moderate level, but it is important to maintain a CGPA of at least 7.5.

A really wholesome experience.
Placements: The placements in this college are very decent, especially for students pursuing Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics Hons. This year, the average package stood at 10.5 lakh per annum, while the highest went up to 48.9 LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, Bank of America, etc. Summer internships are really competitive in this college, where you may get different internship offers from the placement cell. Top roles offered can be data analyst, financial analyst, and consulting.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is way better than most colleges of DU, but many things are not available, like a proper sports complex or having AC in classrooms. Overall, the infrastructure is decent, with a library, canteen, administrative block, gazebos, Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms with working projectors.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and understanding, though you may find some not that helpful or nice, but overall you may find really amazing faculty. The curriculum decided by the University of Delhi is followed along with continuous assessment and internal assessments. The curriculum does help in making the students industry-ready only in case of practical subjects like maths, statistics, and commerce. Semester exams are tough, but the continuous exams are tougher when it comes to quizzes and tests.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in Economics, and the best things about my course are that it’s worth the hype and competition. The thing I would love to improve is removing the unnecessary burden of VAC and SEC since these skills don’t bring much value and take up a lot of time. The fest life here in the college is decent, though the events aren’t that nice.

B.A. (Hons.) in Sanskrit - Batch of 2022

3Placements3Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Brilliant teachers and a good campus life.
Placements: Placements for the Sanskrit department from the college are rare, and even then, they are not for Sanskrit-related jobs. The situation with internships is similar. Only one person in my batch was offered an internship (for 10 thousand rupees a month). If you desire to get a campus placement, you must be active in the placement cell from the first semester itself.
Infrastructure: Classes for the Sanskrit department are held in the old building, meaning the rooms are small, but that works because the Sanskrit department does not have many students. There are no smartboards, the Wi-Fi is slow, and the library is big but is mostly at capacity. The canteen serves below-par food. Sports and games are held every morning, and you are given a 40 rupee coupon for arriving on time every day at 7:30 am.
Faculty: The teachers in the Sanskrit department are phenomenal. They teach with the utmost dedication and ensure that you grasp all the concepts. The number of students in this department is small, so interaction with professors makes the classes interesting. Exams are set by the university. However, the curriculum does not make one employable.

It’s really very good to take admission in this college.
Placements: All of the recruiting companies visit our campus, and there are also campus recruitment opportunities in our college. They recruit various students, offering them various packages, and the highest package that came to our college was 24,00,000 per annum. SSS is one of the topmost colleges.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good; it’s vast, well-recognized, and very neat and clean. The canteen of the college is also very big; it’s one of the biggest canteens in Delhi University. The facilities of the college are good, and the staff is very helpful.
Faculty: The teachers of the university are well qualified, and they help us gain various skills and potential while also polishing the skills we already have. Our semester exams are not difficult; they depend on our study. If we study, then we obviously get good marks.
Other: I chose this course because I am a student of commerce and I’m interested in the commerce department.

Our university is very good.
Placements: In this course, there is a scope for government as well as private job opportunities. There are NGOs that provide internship opportunities. In this course, one can gain a lot of experience during an internship. After obtaining this degree, I would like to search for an NGO where I can teach students.
Infrastructure: Yes, I live in the Residence Hall of Lady Shri Ram College. It has double-seater rooms for 1st and 2nd years and single-seater for final years. Admission to the hostel is solely based on merit and reservation criteria. The total number of seats is about 280-300. Several PGs are available around LSR, varying from Rs 8000 to more than 25000 per month depending on several facilities (distance to college, veg/non-veg, number of meals, single/double/triple/quadruped rooms, AC/Non-AC, etc.).
Faculty: Yes, I have a great syllabus in my Political Science course. It is really nice to study our Indian constitution along with politics. This knowledge is helpful for administration, public administration, and governing people through democracy. We all should be familiar with the Indian constitution. Class size: 67 Course fees: INR 36,000 per year.
