JNU: Dream of many students and it's totally worth it for poor and rich students.
Placements: Placements are good, as many of our seniors got placements and the average package is 11 LPA. You can also apply for internships with a proof of recommendation. There's also many scholarships provided to students in my course and they're good for future careers and many more.
Infrastructure: 24/7 Wi-Fi on campus; there is no lab for all but for special classes only; Korean Center classes are very good as compared to other centers; fully AC classes. One of India's biggest libraries, the Dr. BR Ambedkar Library, is there in JNU, and you can access it easily. The hostel is good and the food is also good. The hostel and mess bill is very low as compared to other universities.
Faculty: Teachers have good qualities and are knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams will be sometimes difficult or sometimes moderate. Passing CGPA is 4. If you get below 4, you'll be unable to enroll in the next semester.
Other: There are many opportunities and scholarships.

All the facilities are good and it is only with such facilities that the college excels.
Placements: There are 40 students enrolled every year for this course. Top companies which hire students from our department are Samsung, LG, POSCO, etc. The average package offered is between 6 Lacs to 10 Lacs for Bachelors degree. Mainly, the role offered by companies is that of translators for various fields.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure facilities having free Wi-Fi 24*7 and good classrooms with latest facilities. The campus is safe with a clean environment. There is a library which is open 24*7 for the students. There is a stadium inside the campus and those who are interested in sports, can also make a good career in sports.
Faculty: All the professors have completed their degree from Korea’s top Universities and have good methods of teaching the students. All the professors are well qualified. Their teaching methodology will attract the students to study and perform their best.

Good environment, but lacks in infrastructure, and placements.
Placements: There is no placement cell at the college. So students have to look for their own future after completing their course by themselves. So, the university can improve in this area. Also, it needs to call a few companies to fill their requirements.
Infrastructure: The facilities available are outstanding. Students have access to the library, Wi-Fi, and healthcare for free. Also, the fee for the course and hostel is negligible. The quality of the hostel is very poor, as they do not even provide basic facilities, and the food quality is the worst.
Faculty: Many faculty members lack teaching skills; many start telling their own stories; many are self-centric; and only a few of them are really interested in teaching the subject allotted to them. This is the area in which the university needs to work the most.

Things you must know about JNU before your admission .
Placements: If you look at the point of placement, you will be slightly disappointed because there is a placement cell in JNU. So we should do this on our own. If you have completed your graduation, you would get a job worth 6 lacs per annum. You can be an interpreter and translator .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is overall good, in my opinion. There is a big library, named Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Library, and every centre has its own library. The Wi-Fi facility is also available here for free. The quality of food is good, hostels are good and the mess fee is manageable.
Faculty: One the best things of JNU is, its faculty. Faculty is so helpful and kind towards the students. They encourage students to do their best. There are some extra curriculum activities like cricket tournament and badminton and so forth. You give 3 exams per semester .

Nice environment and quality education at such affordable fee.
Placements: The batch of 2022 got 100% placement in MNC's. But you can also continue to pursue your Ph.D. after your Masters. The jobs offered are mostly related to translation and interpretation work. You can apply to different companies or even embassies in India or Korea if you have a good profile and work experience. The annual package is between 6 and 12 lacs (again, depending on your tech, Excel, etc., and management skills).
Infrastructure: There is a free Wi-Fi facility in classrooms as well as in hostels. The access to the 9-floor library and unlimited books, magazines and other resources is remarkable. The quality of food in a mess depends on the on the hostel.. There is no shortage of water and electricity in hostels. We have various options for food, including 24-7, Ganga Dhaba, Mamu Ka Dhaba, the library canteen and canteens in every school building. We have a health center inside our campus that has basic health care facilities and at least two doctors are available in each shift of the weekdays. The JNU Stadium has a sports facility and hostel tournaments for cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc. are held very frequently on the premises.
Faculty: The Professors of my department have completed their Ph.D.s from prestigious universities of South Korea (native country of the language they have studied) like SNU, Yonsei, Hanyang, etc. Some of them even have experience of teaching there and working in Samsung, Hyundai and other renowned MNCs. This signifies that they are well qualified. The course curriculum is quite extensive and we not only learn the language but also the Culture, History, Economy, Politics and the Country's relations and foreign Policy with India. The exams are not that difficult if you attend the classes and study regularly. The passing percentage is 35%. The classes are very interesting and interactive for those who wants to learn more about language studies.

The pretty campus life of JNU.
Placements: The university does not offer placements. Still, as per my seniors, the 5-7 LPA package is the most common. The top recruiters are Samsung and Amazon. According to the seniors, most of the students get internships, especially in translations and interpretations.
Infrastructure: We have a whole separate classroom called "Korea Corners" only for the Korean department students. The classroom has AC, a personal chair, a projector, a library, lighting and a Korean hanbok in the cupboard. The campus has 24-hour Wi-Fi in every hostel and academic building.
Faculty: The teachers are experienced, highly qualified and very helpful. All the teachers have been to Korea or have studied/worked in Korean universities. Yes, the course curriculum is very relevant and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exam is easy if you attend classes on a regular basis.
Other: I always wanted to pursue Korean language as a degree. The JNU campus is very pretty and safe. You can roam around freely the whole night.
