    Review of placements and crowds.
Placements: A maximum of students, especially from the Chinese department, got placed off campus with a good package of around 60 thousand plus. Our Chinese department has a good network of alumni. Also, if you clear the HSK exam in Chinese, you can get the chance to visit China and learn.
Infrastructure: Not too well-maintained hostel. You should maintain the hostel yourself. The food quality depends on the hostel. The bill for the course is around 3500-4000 per month. Laundry service is also available within the campus and also in a few of the hostels. Canteen is so good.
Faculty: Best institute to examine yourself. All the faculty here are the best and top class, well qualified as well. So many of them also studied at Jawaharlal Nehru University when they were students. They give you the best coordination from their side. You can ask everything without hesitation.
Other: Good crowd, regular fests, etc. are there.

It is the best college and has value for money.
Placements: Some of my batchmates got placements after graduation. Many students went on to pursue master's, either in the same language or in different streams. The average salary package offered is around 6 LPA - 10 LPA. Many graduates from language streams get jobs in either translation or to train Al in that language.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this campus is the best compared to other colleges in the whole of India. The campus is in Delhi. It is spread across more than 1,000 acres of land with full greenery. The hostel and educational buildings are the epitome of architecture. The whole campus is covered with Wi-Fi. The mess is diverse and provides good food.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful and very dedicated to teaching. Professors here are of top quality, and their teaching methods are top-notch. Semester exams are tough. Students need to focus on their studies. Although attendance is not compulsory, students still need to attend classes.

Good environment, but lacks in infrastructure, and placements.
Placements: There is no placement cell at the college. So students have to look for their own future after completing their course by themselves. So, the university can improve in this area. Also, it needs to call a few companies to fill their requirements.
Infrastructure: The facilities available are outstanding. Students have access to the library, Wi-Fi, and healthcare for free. Also, the fee for the course and hostel is negligible. The quality of the hostel is very poor, as they do not even provide basic facilities, and the food quality is the worst.
Faculty: Many faculty members lack teaching skills; many start telling their own stories; many are self-centric; and only a few of them are really interested in teaching the subject allotted to them. This is the area in which the university needs to work the most.

Best and honest review of Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Placements: Most of the students get placements in the final year of the degree. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. MNCs and embassies offer jobs in my course. If we go for Master's studies, then we get the opportunity to study in foreign universities.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. Hostel food is very good and the menu is decided by the students. There is a health center for students, free of charge. There is also a stadium for every game. Every hostel has a separate badminton court.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Quality of teaching is excellent. Curriculum is relevant. If regularly attend the classes, the exam is not tough. Pass percentage of every semester is 4 CGPA. This is the best university according to NAAC ranking.
Other: I am interested in languages, so I chose this course. Foreign teachers also come to teach us. Students should communicate with each other in their course language. There is no fest in JNU, but cultural nights of each state take place.

Review of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
Placements: There is a placement cell in the university. We receive placements from companies after completing our degree. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA. Most of the students work in the government sector. Almost 90% of students from my college get jobs.
Infrastructure: We get 24/7 free Wi-Fi in the college and hostel as well. Labs are not in very good condition, some computers are not working properly. Classrooms are in very good condition and are clean. Library consists of 10 floors with an uncountable number of books. Quality of food in the mess and canteen is also good.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and highly qualified. This course helps students improve their communication skills and prepares them to work in any foreign industry or country. Semester exams are difficult. Passing CGPA is 4.
Other: I love to learn foreign languages and work abroad, so I chose this course. There are proper events held for many things. For each state, there are organised events. Campus is very large and green. There are many options for extracurricular activities, such as the dance club, drama club, debating club, etc. Monthly scholarship is also given to all students.

Review of JNU, politics and studies.
Placements: There were more than 40 students in the course initially. There is no higher or lower package in Chinese, but the average package is around 6 LPA. The Indian army hires Chinese speakers as well as some private companies. The top role offered can be translated into embassies.
Infrastructure: Only classrooms are available. There is not much infrastructure in the Chinese center. No AC's in classrooms. A separate library is provided for all language students. The rooms are fine in hostels but the food is not that good. There are no games or medical facilities in the hostel.
Faculty: Yes, of course, the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers are very cooperative and friendly. Yes, the course is kind of relevant but they can always make it better. The teaching method can be improved. Semester exams are not difficult if you study properly from the start. Pass percentage is a minimum 3 CGPA per semester.

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.A. (Hons) Programs at JNU

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.A. (Hons) programs at JNU is limited. Here's what they have to say:

    * No guaranteed placements: Most students reported that the university does not guarantee placements, and instead, relies on individual efforts to secure employment. [Review 14]
    * Limited campus placements: Few companies visit the campus for recruitment, and even fewer companies are willing to hire students directly without requiring them to pursue further education or training. [Reviews 21, 26]
    * High salary packages, but rare: Although some students have reportedly received high salary packages (up to 6 Lacs per annum), these opportunities are scarce. [Reviews 17, 28]
    * Lack of internship opportunities: Internship opportunities are also limited, and students often rely on self-initiated projects or freelance work to gain practical experience. [Review 23]

However, some students did mention that certain languages, such as German, Japanese, and Korean, may have better placement prospects due to high demand. [Review 32]

Overall, while JNU offers excellent academic programs, the placement cell appears to require significant improvement to effectively connect students with job opportunities.
