Q:   How is the overall infrastructure of JNU?

    A:
    {Source: M.Tech students & alumni]

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) provides a vibrant campus life for its students. The dress code is liberal, and students can wear whatever they like. The university has multiple sports facilities and coaching, but additional expenses such as books must be borne by the students. There are moderately busy college events every one to three months, and the quality and variety of mess food is acceptable. Attendance policies are lenient, and there are no penalties for bunking classes. The college culture is diverse, with most students speaking English, and support staff is not restricted to native languages. However, the academic schedule is moderate, with around 5-15 lectures per week, and exams and tests are held semesterly. Teaching methodologies include regular fairs, talks, and workshops, and practical discussions around case studies are common. The university has a well-stocked library and supports research and reading resources. Security measures include guards and CCTV cameras, and outsiders can enter the campus unchecked. The college takes a strong stance against ragging and has a zero-tolerance policy towards it.

Based on the reviews provided, the overall infrastructure of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in the field of Computer Science and Technology is good. All the reviewers agree that the college provides a good environment for studying with modern facilities such as Wi-Fi, labs, libraries, classrooms, canteens, hostels and sports facilities. However, some reviewers mention that the hostel facilities could be improved regarding cleanliness and maintenance. Additionally, some reviewers note that the college has a helpful and interactive environment, including student unions and clubs.

Summary: JNU has a good overall infrastructure, providing modern facilities and a supportive environment for students. However, some areas for improvement exist regarding hostel facilities and sports amenities.

Our college provides great faculty members and campus life.
Placements: Getting admission to JNU is not easy as everyone knows. But if you work hard, you can get admission. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA, which is good. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA. A lot of companies approach JNU every year, especially in this stream which is computer science and technology. The demand is very high, so many businesses and companies are getting online, and they need computer science experts. About 80-90% of students got an internship in many companies. I got the opportunity for an internship at Adobe. Different companies offer different top roles for students.
Infrastructure: Campus life is very good. It has a helpful and interactive environment. Student unions and clubs are also pretty active. Facilities like classrooms, Wi-Fi, etc., are good. The library is good, and it has a lot of books and helpful staff members. Canteens are good and hygienic. JNU is a little weak when it comes to sports.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are good and knowledgeable. Some teachers are not very helpful. The course curriculum is outdated as we are in times when things are changing at a high pace, so our curriculum also needs to be updated more frequently. Semester exams are not difficult if you give a good amount of time every day.

But some companies visit our university, and the salary package offered is up to 7-10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA.
