Placements: M.A in philosophy is a theoretical course in social sciences. So it doesn't have any kind of placements like professional courses. It is a quality course at our University. There are no placements in our college.

Placements: In JNU, mostly students aim to become a teacher, so they are not interested in campus selection. But some companies visit our university, and the salary package offered is up to 7-10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. In our university, some students got internships in the best company.

Almost 80% of the students got an internship from companies like Wells Fargo, IIP, Foundation for MSME clusters.

Placements: The placement cell is very good in the campus. Many companies come every year. Placements takes place at different schools and departments like economics, computer Science etc. When we talk about economics department, the average package is around 10 lpa. Also there is a central placement cell which was started in 2017.

Placements: Most of my seniors in the college are pursuing PhD in prestigious institutions, and some have joined JRF. Some of my seniors are applying for PhD in other countries like US, Germany, UK and Canada. One of my seniors is pursuing PhD. Placements: JNU is a non-engineering university which is mainly known for arts. I don't know if any department in the university which has a placement cell. If the students are interested in the job, they apply on Naukri.com or any other website. No one from my batch, or from the batch of my seniors or juniors got a job directly from the college. Placements: JNU does not have a placement cell. After the completion of the course, you have only two options, either go for PhD or prepare for UPSC. So, think twice before you join the university. The internships are provided only after the end of the first year. You can apply to various institutes either online or by writing the mail directly. The internship can be paid or unpaid depending on the situation and where you get it. As we have no placement cell, we cannot be sure about the packages.

Placements: As I was from a small city called Jhansi, I never thought of getting placement after completing my Masters. I was inspired for conducting research work.
