Review of Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Placements: JNU does not have a placement cell. After the completion of the course, you have only two options, either go for PhD or prepare for UPSC. So, think twice before you join the university. The internships are provided only after the end of the first year. You can apply to various institutes either online or by writing the mail directly. The internship can be paid or unpaid depending on the situation and where you get it. As we have no placement cell, we cannot be sure about the packages.

Review of Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Placements: As I was from a small city called Jhansi, I never thought of getting placement after completing my Masters. I was inspired for conducting research work. If you are determined for placements, then JNU is the not right place for you. JNU does not guarantee any placement opportunities. Getting an internship is pretty easy. Everyone I knew did an internship in Summer vacation. The stipend offered varies from institute to institute.

Review of Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Placements: There are no placements in JNU for Biotech students, but don't get disheartened. If you get selected in the campus placements, you are restricted for research and some 9 AM to 5 PM jobs. The stipend offered during PhD is generous. No company visit our campus, and no one goes for industry jobs before their PhD. We all got an internship at the college. I got a paid internship in IISc Bangalore. Other students also got internships in various other eminent universities. There is no placement cell, a...

Review of Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Placements: To be honest, JNU does not offer any placement opportunity, which is not good. All of us eventually went for doing PhD. Although it is not a bad thing, students should have an option to choose. Everyone gets an internship from our college and work in some lab. I got a paid internship, and it was one of the few lucky ones. Sometimes, there is no monetary compensation, and the students have to work for free.

JNU- My best years of college.

Placements: Talking about the placements I would like to tell that do not expect any placement form here. There is no placement cell. JNU is a university for research and development. Students who come here seek knowledge and not keen about getting placed. A few of my classmates had applied for the off-campus placement but didn't go as the payment was very nominal. Almost everyone goes for the summer internship at various universities. I too had a summer intern in NII. Mostly it is unpaid but if you are luc...

M.Sc. Biotech from JNU-Is it a good choice?

Placements: JNU being famous for it's Arts and Political Science course don't have the same limelight for Science students. There is no direct recruitment from the University. However, people from my junior and senior batches have applied and got for the jobs off-campus. A majority of students go for Ph.D. so a number of students going for jobs are very low (maybe one or two from each batch). The average salary offered to start in hand salary is 20k with a range of 8k to 25k depending upon the quality of st...

The cheapest education you get in India.

Placements: I got a placement in medical tourism. Although it is not a permanent job, I am being paid a handsome amount. Since it is a new language, there are a lot of opportunities. Students are also getting placements in Facebook, etc. We are also given building-related jobs.

One of the best university of India and comes under top 100 universities of world.

Placements: There is a placement cell in JNU. Placement system has started from last 2 or 3 years ago, now many big companies come to our college like Amazon, IBM, TCS and many more. I do not about other companies but I'm working in amazon right now and they are giving very satisfying salary. 6 out of 10 student got their job by campus selection. And I'm not sure about internship.

Recommended because of faculty, low cost, good infrastructure. In 2017, the placements are good.

Placements: All the students got good placements. There were 30 students, and 20 students are getting a salary above Rs. 50,000 per month. Most of the students got the job in translation and call centre. The course is good and can be continued to masters level without any entrance. The salary ranges from Rs. 40,000 to 80,000 per month. The companies like Amazon, Volkswagen, and BMW came to the campus.

Placements: In languages, there are many offers for students in Google, Youtube, and Amazon. For the job, it's best, and for higher studies, it's also a much better option. Talking about the Russian language, you can get a job easily in Google after B.A., and you can go for M.A. MFIL, and PhD.

Eco-friendly and intellectual campus can be found here.

Placements: Many students here are getting their jobs in MNCs and are earning a good amount of money for their livelihood. Last year, companies like Facebook and Google gave students a chance to work with them in Hyderabad. Students also get a job in the ministry of external affairs as some students here also work in the interpretation field.

Jawaharlal Nehru University Saga.

Placements: JNU is basically a research university, and it is not a professional college that produces corporate ready students. Placements here are basically self-volunteered. There is an active placement cell. However, many students self willingly do not go for corporates. Moreover, they go for research and higher education within the country or abroad.
