Review of Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna.

Placements: Placement record of JUET is very good for all branches, especially CSE. Placement percentage of the college tends to 100. Companies which offered job are: Amazon, Ericsson, Infosys, Cognizant, Bosch, TCS and many more. Some esteemed organizations like Indian Army and Indian Navy also conducted recruitment drive under UES-25 entry which is a great opportunity in itself. As far as the package is concerned, Amazon offered the highest package of 24 lacs, SAP Labs offered 9 lacs etc. A minimum ...

Slightly inclined towards satisfied because of good infrastructure, average faculty and facilities.

Placements: If you are in computer science or ECE, then there will be ample of opportunities for you but if you are from core branches like Chemical, civil or mechanical then you will get the chance only in mass recruitments. Sometimes, if you are lucky, then 1 or 2 core companies may show up. In my batch, approximately 60% of the students got placed but these statistics were even better for my seniors. The highest salary offered by any company is 27 LPA but no one from my campus got it. The highest packa...

Good infrastructure. Experienced faculty.

Placements: Campus placements for our college are good. We have to go to Noida branch for placements. Companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, SAP Labs, Amazon, Codebrew Labs, Gemalto, Ernst & young, Ericsson, Aricent, IBM, Nirma Cement, etc. recruited the students. The highest package was offered by Amazon (27.5 lakhs).

Good university called JUET.

Placements: Placement record of this university is good in CSE and EC but if we talk about CE and ME, then there are less than 20 students selected every year, because only one or two companies visit every year in CE and ME. In the year 2016, only five companies visited and less than 100 students qualified the test for placement.

A good option for those seeking placements in IT sector. CSE and ECE are up to the mark. Satisfied!

Placements: Most of the companies visiting the college are from the IT sector, which include Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, etc. Still, Sony Ericsson being a core company, visited for campus placements for the ECE students this year. Around 22-25 students from a batch of 62 students were placed in Ericsson. As far as the total percentage of students placed is concerned, it is around 50% among all those who were eligible for placements. The average package is around 3.5 LPA. The highest package was offered...

No dream's too big. Your efforts make your career successful.

Placements: Placement was average, not so good for core students. Very few opportunities for core branches, that is, civil and mechanical students. But you get max. opportunities as a CSE student. On an average, a CTC of 3 lakh onwards. But for core, very few opportunities are there and you have to grasp it. I am a core civil student. I have been placed in JMC project this year. So, in placement terms, it's good for IT students, not for core. Companies for IT students like Wipro, Cognizant and Inf...

Satisfied with the infrastructure, teaching techniques and faculty. The placements can be increased.

Placements: Many companies visit the campus including Amazon, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, etc. 75% of the students are placed, the others are in process. The highest salary offered was 27 lakhs and the minimum salary was 3.5 lakhs. The roles offered were technical. Basically, the roles were IT-oriented. The core companies offered roles apart from IT as well. The students preferred training over internship so that they would gain knowledge in fields like IOT. Some went for training as well and got a stipend of Rs. ...

2nd top private engineering university of MP.

Placements: The placements for computer science students are awesome. But in core branches like civil, mechanical etc, you have to work hard never expect guaranteed placements. The highest salary offer is 22 lakhs and the average package is of 2-3 lakhs per annum for only computer science students. For core branches, there is no such confirmed detail about placements. But for other branches, there is a wide scope for placements. Amazon, Infosys etc. visit our college for placements. Overall, good for CS, I...

Best and peaceful place for anyone to study with great campus and study conditions.

Placements: Well, placements are average of our college, not that good. Last year, the highest package was 27 lakh, and this year I think the highest package is 7-8 lakh till now. And the lowest package is 3.5 lakhs I think. Infosys, Amazon, Cognizant were the main companies. Normally students were offered a system engineer role. This year, 52 students were selected in on campus placements by Infosys and 12 were selected by Cognizant as a mass recruiter. Many students were selected in Wipro too. Ericson too...

When it comes to take a private college, it is worth taking admission in.

Placements: The number of students placed till date of the 2017 batch is 340. Other companies visiting every year for placements are Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, HP and much more. CideNation offered a package of 22 LPA (CTC) to a final year B.Tech student. Amazon offered the highest package at 27.5 lacs per annum.

Somewhat dissatisfied with the destitute number of placement opportunities available. Good for CSE.

Placements: Placements started with TCS and Infosys. Core jobs were low and kept going bad. We were even called to appear for one of the core companies to Jaypee Noida (India Glycols) once the college got over. Overall, not that good for chemical specifically. Great and multiple opportunities for CS and EC.

A vast opportunity for a better career.

Placements: Many of the well-known companies like Infosys, Wipro, Flipkart Amazon and Cognizant etc. visited our campus in the current working year and approximately 89% students got placed, which is really a good number and they searched for students who do have relevant knowledge about the subject. They were basically looking for web developers (backend and frontend), software engineers, analysts and some more relevant to the field. The maximum package popped up at 24 LPA and the minimum was between 3-5 ...

Good infrastructure and facilities with very good placements.

Placements: Placements in this college are reasonably good. For computer science and electronics branch, there are numerous companies coming for recruitments, but placements are centralised, so students have to go to JIIT, Noida for placements. Many companies like Amazon, Accunity soft, Code-brew, Future First and Ericsson are coming for recruitments and providing packages up to 27 LPA. For other CORE branches (chemical, civil, mechanical), various companies come to the campus itself and students have a ve...

Good college with good placements.

Placements: Being a part of this college, I would share a genuine review about the placement process which I have witnessed throughout my college life. Our college offers placement in a ratio of 80:20. Sometimes students have a choice of at least two offer letters in their hand. That all depends on the economic situation going on (like recession period etc). The highest package which got offered to one or two students of our college was around 9 lakhs at that time and the minimum was 3 lakhs. As per my know...

Great infrastructure but bad from research point of view.

Placements: Placements were good in our senior batch but the present year scenario is not quite good as the number of companies visiting the campus have declined and also, the regular visiting mass recruiters have decreased the number of students they hire. Previous year, the placement percentage was about 80% but this year till now only about 10% are placed. College has tie up with Amazon which comes for hiring every year with a CTC of 27 LPA, and the lowest package is that of mass recruiters of 3.2 LPA. M...

Good college, great placement committe, beautiful infrastucture and graded A by the NAAC team.

Placements: The placements of my batch have just begun. Though it is going on at a very slow pace, Infosys took 75, Wipro 28 and Cognizant 5. Yet it's just a beginning and more companies are yet to come. Our senior batch had a very good placement where out of 435 eligible students 340 got placed. The highest package offered last year was 27.5 lakhs per annum by Amazon. There is no lowest salary and the average salary is about 3.25-3.80 lakhs per annum. The companies that visit our campus includes some bi...

A Good University for your engineering experience.

Placements: There is common placement for the three sister institutions i.e Jaypee Noida, Jaypee Solan and Jaypee Guna. All the activities happen in Noida campus for which one has to travel to Noida each time a company visits and he gets shortlisted in the written test which happens in respective institutions. So, the number of companies visiting are good in number and not only startups but well established companies by that I mean the big names also visit the institute. Every year about 75-80% students get...

Placements: Placements are very decent at our college. One of our senior got a package of 22 LPA in a well-known Multinational company. Average package is of 3.5 LPA this year and the highest package offered was 12 LPA. The college does not provide internships to the students.

Overall, a good college with well-qualified faculty. The main drawback is the lack of exposure

Placements: The placements of computer science and engineering and electronics and communications streams are good. Up to the last year, the placement was nearly 90% for CSE and EC branches. But, the placements for civil engineering and mechanical engineering are not good. A large number of CSE companies are visiting and offering good packages. Some of the companies are Amazon, Infosys, Ericsson, Wipro, Cognizant, Zycus, eLitmus and Abyeti. The highest package offered last year was around 22 lacs, and the s...

If you want a good hostel life and exposure to a great college, join here!

Placements: The last batch has got the maximum package of INR 27 lakhs. Placements of CS and EC is good in percent. More than 75% are placed in campus selection. CE and ME branch has low campus selection. They need to focus on your own for future options like GATE, etc. The T&P cell provides a good training and supports the students.
