Jaypee University of Information Technology: The college is only good due to it's location.

Placements: The conversation rate of students here is barely 5%. Many companies came back without taking any students even though around 200 students applied for the job. Many seniors are unplaced and even the pass outs are unplaced. The promotions of 100% placement are totally fake. The average package is about 3.5 LPA.

Average good private college.

Placements: Most of the students are placed in mass recruiting companies like TCS. There are not many high-end companies that come for on-campus placements. Most of the students get their placements on their own (off-campus). The highest package offered is around 45 lacs per annum which was off-campus bagged by the students’ efforts. The average package is around 4-5 lacs.

I am not very satisfied with the college placements and teachers .

Placements: Not more than 10% of the students were placed. There were no good companies that came to the college. The highest package offered was around INR 3 LPA during training period with a bond of 2-3 years. Most of the students went for their higher studies .

Review of Jaypee University of Information Technology - JUIT.

Placements: About 70% of the students are placed till 7th semester. Many students have multiple offers like 2-3. Amazon offered a salary package of 28 LPA. A student also got placed in Google. The average salary package offered was around 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Infosys, Cognizant and Wipro. The majority of students in the CSE and IT branches are placed. Many ECE students also got placed in product and service-based companies.

Neither teachers nor placements are good. It has average infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Around 70% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary was Rs. 1 lac per month, and the lowest salary was Rs. 10,000 per month and the average salary was Rs. 30,000 per month. Infosys, ZS Associates and Code Brew are the top recruiters for our course. System engineers, web developers and software engineers are the top roles offered in our course. Good campus but poor faculty and placements.

Placements: Mostly students opted out of the placements. For placement we have to go to JIIT our sister institute and the companies that comes there prefer JIIT students more and the companies that came to our campus were all startups in locations near Chandigarh and provided really low package.

The college has a good infrastructure, but the placements and faculty members are average.

Placements: The highest salary package of 25 LPA and the lowest salary package of 3.2 LPA were offered in the campus placement drives. Over the years, the placements have seen a downfall, but this year we have witnessed a large number of placement opportunities from the mass recruiters. The college generally does not allow the off-campus placements.

I'm dissatisfied with the campus crowd. There are no extracurricular activities.

Placements: Recently, a placement cell is formed in our college, and the teachers indulge students in it. They are working hard for providing placements for students. Many companies such as Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Nestle, etc, visited our college to offer placement. Until now, not many students got the internship from college.

Review of Jaypee University Of Information Technology, Solan.

Placements: Placements of each batch depend on JIIT, Noida. Students have to go to JIIT, every year, as companies visit JIIT campus. Obviously, JIIT students get preference, which can lead to a lot of discrimination. The last batch was offered a minimum package of 3.2 LPA, and the highest package of 27 LPA was offered. A new placement body has been started in our college, from this year, their work seems good enough. Placements are still in progress. Students have to find the internships on their own.

It is an institution for higher education and professional courses.

Placements: Before taking admissions in professional courses, we look into placements. There are zero core placements for the ECE department. But if you are hard working and have knowledge of programming, then you will get placement in good companies. Don't wait for core placements in ECE.

Good college with beautiful location and average placements.

Placements: The placement is good compared to other private colleges. Big companies like amazon, delloite, morgan stanley, barclays, ola, SAP, paytm, do visit the campus with very good packages. The highest package was 15 lacs last year. If you study well and maintain a good CGPA then you will definitely be placed. Mass recruiters like Infosys, TCS also visit the campus.

Big brand name of the college is not enough to ensure one gets good placement.

Placements: Placement are not good at all these days especially for non CSE-IT students. Me being from ECE had to apply for off campus job and got it but on campus jobs offer even those who got jobs many of them don't even got their joining letter. So the future of placement does't looks good.

Dissatisfied with the placements and a training cell in this college.

Placements: In the three and a half years of my B.tech, hardly any placement company have come for placement drive in this college. This college has no training and placement cell of their own, and no company comes for placement in this college. Students have to go to JIIT-Noida for applying for placements.

The college is average regarding everything. If you want to study, then go somewhere else.

Placements: There is a huge difference between senior batch placement and the placement that we get, in which we get a lot worse package of average 3.5 LPA. Only 50% of the students were placed, and the highest was 12 LPA and average was 3.5 LPA. Mainly there were Infosys, Cognizant, Amazon, Saplabs etc. The companies offered the roles of the software engineer, ETs, debugger, etc. None of the students got internships from the college. There's a placement cell which does nothing, and it is useless.

JUIT review -you must read it before you get into it.

Placements: The placements are not as good as they are supposed to be. The placements in civil are almost nill. If you get CSE or IT here, then you can get the placements in a core company and you get a decent package too. But if you choose ECE, none of the core companies come except Ericsson. You have to go for the jobs in IT sector only. This is the reality and one should accept it. Don't go by the stats, they may be misleading. The people in ECE and civil department have to go for GATE if they want a job...

Really good infrastructure, facilities and crowd. Lots of opportunities to learn and grow

Placements: Placements were good for my batch as well as for the senior batch. 90% of students were placed. The highest offered was 23 lakhs, the average was 4 lakhs and the minimum was 2.3 lakhs per annum. More than 50 companies visited the campus. Graduate trainee was the role offered to students. Hardly any student got the internship from the college.

A decent college but better keep it down in the list.

Placements: The placements in the college were decent in the CS and the IT branches. They were even better for our senior batch. A major chunk of students was placed by the end of the eighth semester (it includes both the on-campus and the off-campus drives). Some big names like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and many start-up companies participated in the placement process.

JUIT Waknaghat- The charm, isn't that charming.

Placements: There is no placement for civil students on the campus in civil construction companies. The students start learning the programming to get selected by the mass recruiters. Although many civil students (approximately 35%) got selected in gate exams. The top gate rank in civil is AIR 6 by Rupak Jain in 2015; he also got a package of 12 LPA. The average package for other branches is 3.5 LPA given by Infosys, Cognizant, etc. The companies like sap labs and Amazon do visit the college with high-end j...

Great infrastructure but placements not up to expectations.

Placements: The placements were not up to expectations. The percentage of students placed was below expectations and the number of companies visiting this year is also very few. Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, roots analysis were amongst the few companies which visited our college. There were many internships. The highest stipend was 26,000, the lowest was 3,000 and the average was 5,000.
