Q:   How successful is the placement cell in securing jobs for B.Pharma students at Lingayas Vidyapeeth?

    A:
    {Source: B.Pharma students & alumni}

    Placement Cell Success Rate:

Unfortunately, according to student reviews, Lingayas Vidyapeeth does not provide placements for its B.Pharm students. The institution focuses more on preparing students for various career paths after graduation, such as pursuing higher education (M.Pharm) or starting their own businesses.

    Here's what students have mentioned:

    * "Our college does not provide placements." - Various students' reviews
    * "Students can pursue many career options after B.Pharma. Students can start their businesses or can go to higher medical companies for jobs." - Student review
    * "After completing pharmacy, students can go for M.Pharma to do a drug inspector post. Students can also pursue a teaching career after pharmacy." - Student review

In summary, while Lingayas Vidyapeeth offers a range of facilities and amenities, it does not guarantee placements for its B.Pharm students, instead focusing on providing a strong foundation for their future careers.

    Review of Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth.
Placements: Almost 84% of students got placed in our college in reputed companies. Top recruiting companies are Aagya Biotech, Kimia Biosciences, Arbro Pharmaceuticals, Auriga Research, Zydus, Mankind Pharma, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. Classrooms are equipped with projectors. They won't provide proper lights in classrooms. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. The hostel facility is available for students and faculty members. The food served in the mess is good.
Faculty: Our faculty members are helpful. They teach us very well. They guide students for their upcoming future opportunities. The exam cell of our college is very punctual. Exams are conducted strictly.
Other: I opted for this course because I wanted to gain knowledge related to the paramedical field of our healthcare system. Our class has 98 students.

    Review of Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth.
Placements: Our college does not provide placements. Our course is good so students can pursue many career options after B.Pharma. Students can start their businesses or can go to higher medical companies for jobs. After completing pharmacy students can go for M.Pharma to do a drug inspector post. Students can also pursue a teaching career after pharmacy.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good and well-developed. Our college provides us with all facilities. Our college has a lab and all lab materials are available for practicals. Classrooms are clean. The sitting area is available for reading books. Our college has a mess and canteen. The food served in the mess and canteen is excellent. Medical facilities are available in our college. Our college provides huge sports options for players and students can participate in any sport.
Faculty: Teachers are good, knowledgeable, and qualified. They always instruct students. They teach us all related topics and make learning easier for everyone. Semester exams are not much easier but if you study well, you can pass them. The teacher's behavior toward students is good.
Other: I opted for this course because a pharmacy graduate student can easily advise other health professionals as well as common people about the adverse effects of drugs and also help in the selection of dosages. Our college is good for events and fests because every month, events are organised by different departments.

Our college is average in all aspects.
Placements: Around 20% of students are placed. The average salary package offered ranges from 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. Agro pharmaceuticals company recruiting students for our course and the clinical pharmacist assistant role offered in our course. There are some companies visiting for jobs that are not related to this field.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. It provides many machines in the laboratory but it does not work. There is no air-conditioner in the classes. The hostel is also average and the mess food is good. The canteen is good. There is also a medical room for an emergency, but there is nothing for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They make students industry-ready not entirely but a little bit. Exams are not difficult if students study well. The pass percentage is 90%. Some of them get to attend re-examination. Due to the online exams, some difficulty occurred to understand the topic or the laboratory experiments.
Other: I chose this course due to family. The best thing about this course is to study about human body and drugs. I want to improve the laboratory so it can make students more industry-ready. Fests are good at this place but for the last 2 years, it is not happened because of covid.

    Review of Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth.
Placements: 40% of students from the previous batch got placed. I don't have any idea about the packages or companies that came here. I have not graduated yet, so there are no placements in my batch, but the seniors got about 40% placements. The highest package offered is approximately 4 Lacs per annum. Many companies come here. Almost all the students get internships from different companies, but the internships are not arranged by the college, one has to do it on their own. Most of the students pay for internships, as it is one of the most difficult things to do in graduation.
Infrastructure: Labs are available. The canteen is good, and the food is good. The campus has 4 main buildings for architecture, pharmacy, central block and B.Tech. There is a field and a basketball court. Parking is huge enough for students, but the size of the overall campus is fairly small. Wi-Fi is available, but most of the sites are blocked. If you want to study using Wi-Fi, then you can easily do so. The classrooms are large enough, and some have digital projectors. The library is huge, and one can easily study there. We don't have to buy books for studying as we can borrow books from there, so it is very useful. The hostel is small, and since it is located in a rural area, there is nothing much to do during holidays, but the quality of food is nice. Medical facilities are good. Sports and games are not very popular in college. But there are sports equipment and grounds. There is also a gym for hostelers. Overall, the campus is good, and the canteen is good, and the food prices are fair, and the food is good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified. Exams are average. Teachers are extremely helpful to students. Some teachers are very knowledgeable and supportive, and the quality of teaching is average in some subjects and above average in others.
Other: I chose it because I want to be a pharmacist.

It's a good college, but the crowd is low, and there is a shortage of faculty members sometimes.
Placements: Many students get internships and placements in different companies. Many companies like Sun Pharma, Zydus, Cadila, and Mankind come every year to take students. Most of the students get positions like market representative etc.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms are well ventilated and have proper lighting too. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is pretty good. Sports facilities are good, and there is an annual sports meet which is held by the college every year. Medical facilities are good.
Faculty: The teachers are well educated and have adequate knowledge about their respective subjects. Labs are pretty impressive, and they are held regularly to gain a good knowledge about the subject. Semester exams are not too tough but are not that much easy too.
Other: Bachelor's in pharmacy is a good career option. It has ample opportunities in future. You can work in many top-notch companies of pharma.
