LPU Courses & Fees 2025: UG, PG, Doctorate, After 10th Courses

LPU NEST exam dates will be announced soon. The examination is conducted for admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The application form for LPU NEST will be available online. Candidates willing to join Lovely Professional University should keep a check on the dates of LPU NEST on the official website and submit the application form before the deadline. LPU NEST 2025 slot booking must be done 48 hours before the exam. 

Candidates could download their LPU NEST 2025 admit card after booking the exam slots. The admit card was available on the official website. The admit card was an mandatory document to be taken for the exam. If candidates choose to book their LPU NEST slot for 2025 on their own, their LPU NEST 2025 admit card will be generated immediately. However, if Lovely Professional University books the slot for the candidates, the LPU NEST hall ticket 2025 will be generated 48 hours after receiving the application form. However, all application received before the start date of the slot booking will be processed only when Online Slot Management will be activated.

Yes, LPU accepts LPUNEST score for providing admission to MCA and MCA (Hons) course. Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test is conducted in online mode every year for admission to MCA and other LPU courses. The test acts as an Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. The amount of scholarship is determined by the marks and rank obtained by candidates in the exam. LPUNEST is conducted for a duration of 2.5 hours. The test includes 125 questions of a total of 500 marks. Additionally, candidates also need to complete graduation to get admission to MCA course.

Yes, LPU admission to BBA (International Business, Financial Markets, Blockchain, Business Analytics) and BBA (Hons) course is based on LPUNEST or CUET UG score. For all other BBA specialisations, admission is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Besides, candidates need to complete Class 12 with at least 60% aggregate with English for BBA (Hons) and BBA Event Management, International Business, Financial Markets, Blockchain and Business Analytics. For all BBA specialisations, candidates need to complete Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate with English. After completing the selection rounds, aspirants need to pay a fee to confirm a seat in the university. The total fee for BBA and BBA (Hons) ranges between INR 4.80 Lacs and INR 7.20 lakh. The fee is calculate based on semester fee.

CAT is one of the accepting exams for LPU admission. LPU conducts LPUNEST Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to MBA course. It is conducted in online mode every year. The test acts as an Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. The amount of scholarship is determined by the marks and rank obtained by candidates in the exam. LPUNEST is a 2.5 hours exam including 125 questions. LPU offers more than 300 degree and Diploma courses at the UG, PG and doctoral levels along with several distance learning courses via LPU Distance Education (LPUDE). LPU admission 2023 is a multi-step process, including application, selection rounds and result declaration. LPUNEST is the official entrance and scholarship exam conducted by the university. In addition to this, Lovely Professional University accepts several other national-level entrance exams like JEE Main Part 2,  NATA,  CAT,  MAT,  XAT, etc. for admission to its UG and PG courses.

LPU course work is mandatory for all the students admitted in PhD programme. The course work will have a minimum of 14 credits. All candidates admitted to the PhD. programme will be required to complete the course work prescribed by the university during the initial one or two semesters.

CAT score is the total marks a candidate receives out of the maximum marks, calculated by subtracting the marks of incorrect answers from the marks of correct answers. For every correct answer, +3 is given to the candidates, for every incorrect -1 is deducted from the overall score. Apart from this, a candidate's rank is calculated by normalizing the scores of all candidates and placing them on a common scale based on the difficulty and attempts of the candidates. It is important to understand the difference between CAT score and CAT percentile because IIMs and all MBA colleges in India select candidates on the basis of their CAT and other MBA related exam percentiles and not score.

The CAT percentile is referred to as the rank of a candidate against the rest of the test takers. The percentile indicates the total percentage of candidates who scored less than or equal to a particular candidate in CAT. 

Suppose,1,000 people take an exam and you bag the top rank, which means 999 candidates scored less than you. Then your CAT percentile will be 999/1000*100 = 99.9.
