Review of Madurai Kamaraj University - MKU.
Placements: About 60% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 50,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 10,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month. IBM is the top recruiting company of our course. About 40% of the students from our got an internship in Zoho. A top role offered to the students is a software engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college provides free Wi-Fi facility on the campus. In the hostel, Wi-Fi facility is available 24 hours. There are about 3 labs and one library in the department. Our college provides a huge library. Quality in the food served in the hostel is very bad. Sports facilities are good. Medical facilities are also good.
Faculty: Only a few staff members are knowledgeable and dedicated. Their teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is relevant. Course frame is correct, but their teaching not up to the mark. They do not make the students industry-ready. They change the syllabus rarely.
Other: I have chosen this course because of the industry. It is a 3 years course, so we can learn a lot of industry-standard subjects. To make the course to better, our college should improve the syllabus. Scholarships are available for SC and ST students. If other caste students apply for a scholarship, then they will not give. Events are organised by the college frequently.

In my heart, my college is the best forever.
Placements: In my college, they arrange the placements for every year. This year also, they arranged placement in various companies. I got selected in one PHP developer company in Chennai with good salary. Everyone can easily improve their skills. Teachers also very helpful for placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There are 4 IBM labs. Super fast internet facility is there. AC facilities are in the lab, as well as classrooms also. This year, every classroom became a smart classroom. Free Wi-Fi is available in the whole campus with high-speed. There is full security in my college. The whole campus has CCTV cameras. I hope you will also like my college infrastructure.
Faculty: My college faculty members are very good and knowledgeable persons. Each and every teacher has more than 20 years experience. They are friendly and also they clear our doubts any time. They helped me a lot in my career. Subject wise, they are very good, and they make the new syllabus every year, depending on the company requirement. It will be helpful for you also.
Other: They conduct national level symposium every year. This work fully depends on the student. Students put their effort and invite students from various colleges. This is very helpful to increase our coordination work. I am also the joint secrecy of the 2016 symposium.

Other: It is a very good place to learn and grow. It is quite difficult to get a seat in most of the courses in MKU. Faculty members are very friendly and understand students’ mindset. They teach them in a different way. We have a big library and amenity center in MKU Campus. Hostels are Wi-Fi enabled as well. Fees structure is very less compared to other colleges. It is an awesome college.

Other: It was a very nice learning environment in MKU (Madurai Kamaraj University). The college campus is situated very near to Nagamlai mountains series. It is the best place for studies due to the campus’s peaceful environment. The MKU - Computer center (Department for MCA course), conducts inter-college competition Boot and National level symposium Astrix. The best thing is that you can learn MCA & explore yourself, career wise and socially as well. I got placed in IBM India Pvt. Ltd. in my 4th semester itself. My placement experience was very good here. The best thing about this college is that the alumnus help and guide, they are very helpful and encouraging. They help out in placement activities as well.
