    Q:   Can I get admission for B.Tech CSE in MDU, Rohtak, Haryana?

    A: 

    MDU Rohtak offers 3-4 year BTech programmes to students in various specialisations and one of the specialisations is CSE. The eligibility criteria for admission to BTech CSE is Class 12 with a minimum of 45%-60 % aggregate. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main, HSTES, HSTES LEET, and others.

    Students can also download the JEE Main 2025 Mock Test and can see what sort of questions are asked in the eaxms and hence prepare beforehand for the next year exams.

    Students applying for the BTech admissions must secure 45%-60% in Class 12. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main,  HSTES, and others. Students are selected in this university based on their JEE Main Ranks. The JEE Main cut off changes every year and is dependent on various criteria such as the no. of students available, no. of seats filled, No of students applying for admissions, and other criteria.

    Q:   What is the fee for the MDU BTech Biotechnology course?

    A: 

     The fee is INR 2.80 lakh. It is inclusive of the components of a one-time admission fee and tuition fee for all four semesters. Further, it must be noted that this fee is as per the past years' record and hence can vary for this admission session. The application fee for boys is INR 1,000 and INR 800 for girls (general/gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) category). For any query related to fee payment, candidates can reach out to the MDU admission office.

    College is good but very far for Delhi students.
    Placements: There was a placement cell at this college. They organise pool campus placements regularly. Many students were placed. The minimum salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The maximum salary package offered was 12 LPA which I observed in the drive. Top companies like L&T visited for interviews in our college.
    Infrastructure: I am not living in hostel. But infrastructure was good and had a huge space for civil engineering projects. Some of my friends told me that the food was good. Medical facilities were also available. All sports were conducted. Sports day was also celebrated here. Wi-Fi connectivity was available on campus.
    Faculty: Teachers were very qualified. They graduated from NIT and IIT. They give training to students about their trade. Exams were not much harder but moderate in nature. Pass percentage according to exams was 33%. When we attend class regularly, we can easily get passing marks.
    Other: Best thing about this course was the field visits. More use of modern equipment was provided in engineering. Events were organised annually. Scholarships were provided according to students income or capability.

    Placements: Almost 99.9% of students got placed in our college. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Tata, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, HCL, Oracle, IBM, Dell, Toyota, etc. Data scientist, machine learning engineer, data analyst, software engineering, deep learning, and AI research scientist.
    Infrastructure: There is high-speed Wi-Fi across campus including classrooms, a library, and common areas. Our classrooms are typically equipped with smart boards and projectors. Labs are fully interconnected with high-speed internet connections. There are good facilities in our hostel. Hostels are separate for boys and girls.
    Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. Students can easily understand. This course curriculum is up-to-date. We have practical application, skill development, industry connection, conceptual understanding, problem-solving, theory, practical, and time management. The passing percentage is 35%.
    Other: There is a high demand for AIML, cutting-edge technology, interdisciplinary opportunities, and hands-on learning. There is more focus on real-world problems, hands-on coding from the start, updated curriculum force, engineering friends, skill development, etc. The new year is organised by our faculty members with many activities. Food stalls are available. We have amazing games.

    Absolutely dissatisfied because there are no placements.
    Placements: Any student who passed in 12th class, there are not any placements seen in this college. Top recruiting company is Huawei. There are not any specific rules but at least 60 percent marks required in the exams. Top role is that you have to make practical.
    Infrastructure: There are a couple of labs in college and one library. Wi-Fi is available in labs, and food is good but backward in sports. Classrooms are quite good, but no air conditioning is available in the classroom. Food is not so good; mess food is of low quality, and medical facilities are zero. Also, in sports, there are no games.
    Faculty: Teachers are very lower class, and they have not any knowledge about their subject. Yes, the course is so good, but there are a couple of things in that course that are not good. The semester exams are so difficult because the time gap is minimum in every semester, and passing marks are 33.
    Other: The college life is so good. Like the best thing about my course is that practical labs occur. I wish that please change their staff.

    This college is the best because it provides many facilities at such an affordable price.
    Placements: Last year, a student was placed with the highest salary package of 32 LPA. Companies like Byju's, Paytm, TVS, and other big companies recruit students from the campus. Internships are crucial for gaining industry experience. Typically, around 70-80% of students from technical courses may get internships. Some internships provided might include the same companies that hire students full-time, such as TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. The placement percentage varies each year based on factors like the course, student performance, industry demand, and overall economic conditions. Typically, in technology-focused institutions, you may see placement rates ranging from 70% to 95%, depending on the course and batch.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice. This college provides many facilities such as an Apple lab center of excellence, Nvidia lab, and Panasonic Lab. It also contains a robotics arm from ABB for students in Robotics. WCTM Gurugram is expected to have Wi-Fi connectivity across the campus, especially in academic blocks, hostels, and libraries. Wi-Fi is typically accessible for academic work, research, and student projects.
    Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive in this college. This is my 2nd year in B.Tech, and I can say that whenever I encounter a problem which I cannot solve on my own, faculty members help me reach the solution and thus I have not failed any exam yet. Most institutions, including WCTM Gurugram, aim to have approachable and supportive faculty members who are open to helping students with both academic queries and career guidance.     Placements: I am Shivnayan Kumar and I have taken admission in B.Tech (CSE) in 2024 in this amazing college, World College of Technology and Management (WCTM). As per the feedback from seniors, the average salary package offered ranges between 10 LPA to 15 LPA. This suggests good opportunities for students in terms of career prospects. WCTM has established connections with numerous reputable companies across various industries. The highest salary package offered is 28 LPA. Recruiters regularly visit this college for campus placement drives. These visits are organized by this college placement cell.
    Infrastructure: Hostel at WCTM offers comfortable living space with essential amenities such as beds, study, and wardrobes. Rooms are designed to cater to the needs of students. If we attend classes regularly and revise our notes, we can score well. Questions are usually from the syllabus.
    Other: I chose (CSE) because it is one of the most exciting and dynamic fields, offering endless possibilities in technology, innovation, and problem-solving. It is the backbone of modern advancements, from AI to app development. It opens doors to a wide range of career paths like software development and data science. The best thing about my course is how versatile and future-focused it is. It equips us with coding skills algorithmic thinking and the ability to create solutions. Campus life at WCTM is lively with events, fests, and cultural activities that bring students together.

    The college is located inside a village with school teachers.
    Placements: Can't depend on colleges for placements; they also do not promise placement. They only complete their courses. Also, their area is as small as a society park. In summers, it's disgusting because you'll not find clean water anywhere on campus, and forget about the toilets.
    Infrastructure: It's a small college, with only one building having 3 floors where they manage all the courses offered. Also, the washrooms are super dirty, and sports are not taken seriously. No student can leave before 3:30 pm from campus, as there is only a single canteen.
    Faculty: Teachers are not well-prepared for their subjects. Teachers change in the middle of the year without prior notice. They treat you like nursery students and frighten you by saying that they are going to call your home because you're not paying attention.
    Other: You could not travel to this college with public transport; only by college bus or personal vehicles. The nearest metro is 14 km away.
