What is MGCU, Motihari, Bihar?
Placements: 100% placement was recorded in our college. The highest package offered is 10 LPA; the lowest package offered is 7 LPA; the average package offered is 9 LPA. Companies that came for placements are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, etc. The maximum number of students get internships during their third year. The roles offered are mostly junior engineer, AI engineer, HR, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is good and peaceful, with good infrastructure. Everything is available on campus, like a big library, fully equipped labs, modern classrooms, Wi-Fi, and CCTV. Hostels are good, and rooms are neat and clean and in good condition. Mess food is good in taste and healthy; they also maintain hygiene. Wi-Fi and CCTV are installed everywhere. Many indoor and outdoor games are also available in hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are good in every way; their behavior and nature are good, and they are available every time to clear your doubts. They are all highly qualified and very knowledgeable in their fields. The course curriculum is relevant; everything is included in the course. The semester exams are not very difficult; if you study one night before, you can score good marks.
Other: This course gives me the success that I want, and I like it because it is highly in demand. Everyone wants this course but cannot get admission to it in government colleges. There is nothing to improve in the course; everything is well-designed and fulfills companies' needs. This college organizes a tech fest, internship fest, and events every month, and they also celebrate each festival on campus.

"Supportive Faculty, Promising Infrastructure, and a Growing Learning Environment". .
Placements: Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari, Bihar, is improving in placements. The highest package recently offered was INR 36 LPA at Amazon, with an average package of INR 8-9 LPA at companies like Wipro and Infosys. Third-year students are also starting to receive internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Currently, the main campus is under construction and will take 2-3 more years to complete. The college provides hostel facilities for girls, with plans to extend them to boys soon. Facilities include a library and 24/7 medical services. Classrooms are well-equipped with air-conditioning, smart boards, and Wi-Fi. However, the bus timings are often irregular, and the mess conditions require improvement. The annual sports event, UMANG, is a highlight, with students participating in cricket, badminton, chess, and other games.
Faculty: The teachers are cooperative, supportive, and highly qualified, with many having backgrounds from IITs and NITs. They use practical teaching methods and assignments that help students grasp complex topics effectively. However, irregular class timings sometimes lead to rushed syllabus coverage. Exams are moderately challenging, and most students perform well.
Other: As a first-year B.Tech Computer Science student (batch 2024-2028), I chose this course due to my passion for technology and its problem-solving potential. The curriculum blends theoretical knowledge with practical applications, focusing on emerging technologies.

Good college for average student and value for money.
Placements: My batch have 300 students my section, out of 300, 150 students, got placement. The highest package is 8 lacs. The average package is 3 to 4 lacs. I got a 4 Lacs package. Some students get government jobs in this college And also, some students get placements at Tata Sky and other companies.
Infrastructure: Our computer room looks average but the condition is excellent. Also, the Wi-Fi speed was 55 Mbps and after 4 PM, it was reduced to 2 Mbps. The library was not good; it looks average. Think that the Bihar government needs to find these colleges for development. The hostel was good; I liked it .
Faculty: The exam course was not very hard; the questions were average, and the and the majority students got good marks in their final year. The teachers and staff's behavior was good in every case. The teacher's knowledge was good in coding. Also, we get some class from the principal, who is a very good man .

Review of mahatma gandhi central university.
Placements: I am a first-year B.Tech student at Mahatma Gandhi Central University Bihar. I am very excited to tell you about my college's placement, which is the best. In 2019, the placement percentage was 100%. Last year, almost 80% of students who completed their B.Tech degree here were placed in product-based companies like Amazon and service-based companies like TCS. The highest package at our college is 35 LPA, and the average package is around 6 LPA. 20-25% of students obtained internships in their third year at top companies like Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Byju's, etc. After completing this course, many people got jobs in roles like software engineer, software developer, and web developer.
Infrastructure: The classrooms at our university are very good. All facilities, like Wi-Fi, labs, and a library, are available. There are separate classrooms and labs for each branch. The teachers are the best; they teach us everything from the basics and cover all the valuable topics without missing any. The hostel facility is good, and the quality of food available in our canteen is the best. In the hostel, the food routine is different every day. An ambulance is available for emergency services, and the university has "Umang," in which cricket, chess, badminton, and football competitions are organized.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified with Ph.D. or M.Tech degrees. They help us qualify for the GATE exam and always motivate us for further studies. The course curriculum is very well-maintained, with proper timing of classes. The syllabus is covered on time and focuses on real-world problems. Semester exams are moderate level, and most students pass.

Good for GATE exam, lack in infrastructure and friendly Faculty and Seniors.
Placements: Currently, I am a first-year student pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science at Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari, Bihar. I got admitted based on CUET scores. Here, the placement ratio is much better than at other universities. Most of the students are able to qualify for the GATE exam, and third-year students are getting internships. The highest package offered is around 35 LPA, and the average is 7-8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Wipro, Amazon, etc. Most of the roles offered by them are Software and Junior Engineer.
Infrastructure: Currently, our main campus is not completed, and it will take about 2-3 years to finish. The college provides hostel facilities for girls only, but in the upcoming year, it will be available for boys also. We have a library and medical facilities that are available 24/7 for students. The classrooms are well-equipped with air conditioning, smart boards, and Wi-Fi. We also have bus and mess facilities on our campus. An annual sports event is held every year, named Umang, in which most of the students participate in different sports like cricket, badminton, chess, etc.
Faculty: The faculty members are very cooperative, friendly, supportive, and well-qualified. Most of them are from IITs and NITs. The teaching and exams are at a moderate level. The course curriculum is well-maintained, with proper timing of classes. The syllabus is mostly covered within the allotted time, including all the practical and assignment work, and most students can qualify for the exams with a good score.
Other: The mess facilities can be improved, and the bus timings should be scheduled so that students who travel by bus do not miss it.

There is no minimum cuttoff for GIET, Gunupur in JEE mains. Your board's marks should be above 45%. You can find students with their jee ranks ranging from 10000- 10 lakhs. I don't know why the students with ranks under 20,000 chose this college. Their are better options out there.

Well, first of all you must define what is a good branch according to you. In my opinion, you will definitely get a branch in CET but this rank be enough to get a seat in CSE for sure is nearly about 43400 (unless you belong to the reserved category). You can opt for other branches with this rank.

According to the earlier cutoff the minimum cutoff is 50 for general category and 45 for OBC,SC and ST. The latest cutoff list is still not released but I think that the cutoff will be near about the earlier cutoff.
