The college campus and environment are good.
Placements: There are many companies that the college brings for every branch of students, offering stipends and internships, such as TCS, Information Corp, and Just Dial. The college also provides stipends for M.Tech students. The college has approved many projects, such as done observation, blood cell identification, and automatic safety.
Infrastructure: My experience was good. The annual fest is Culrav and the technical fest is Aviskar, which is held in November. There is a large range of books available in the library. The sports faculty members are not very good, but still, all the sports are well managed in the college.
Faculty: The college hires well-educated and skilled faculty members. Faculty members have good communication skills. The campus allows only English for communication with students. There are two main semester exams in a year, but in one semester, the college conducts two small in-sem exams. These are meant to complete the study before the final exams.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028

The college that embraces every student.
Placements: In this 2024, approximately 76% of students are placed. the highest salary package offered was 71 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Top recruiters were Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. About 80% - 90% of students got internships. The top role offered was Software Engineer. It is a good state in comparison to other colleges.
Infrastructure: Facilities such as modern labs, library, hostel, health center, research center, etc., are available. Mess and canteen provide a variety of food options, ensuring nutritious and hygienic meals. For sports and games, MNNIT offers extensive facilities, including fields for cricket, football, and athletics, as well as courts for basketball, volleyball, and tennis.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The course prepares students to face problems in the industry. Semester exams at MNNIT allahabad are known to be quite challenging. Students typically face both mid-semester and end-semester exams. The difficulty level is often compared to that of the GATE exam, which requires thorough preparation and a good grasp of the subjects. Pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I want to learn many things in this course. The best thing is it is related to machines. I want to improve my knowledge of machines and make it better. Events are awesome. Culrav and Aavishkar's events just happened, and they were great. We got in contact with seniors, improved our communication skills, and learned many more things.

Everything is fun except studies.
Placements: 42% for batch 2026 is the percentage of electrical engineering. The highest package was 56 LPA and the lowest package was 8 LPA. Microsoft, Adobe, and Texas Instruments are some of the top recruiting companies. 10% of the of the internships were given to the electrical batch by Microsoft. SDE1 is the highest-ranking role offered.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very small and the facilities provided are very old, like lab instruments. Wi-Fi works mostly everywhere but not in class. Classes are very old. The library is good for self-study; it have good number of seats. Rooms are very small for 2, 3, and 4 years.1st years have big room but have 3 people in it. All room have LAN port too. Mess food is very bad, having no taste. No non-vegetarian food is given, and we have to eat it outside outside college. Medical facilities are good and open 24/7. We have a lot of space for games like cricket, basketball, squash, running, etc. Even TT tables are available.
Faculty: Teaching quality is not good at all. Every professor is qualified but they don't know how to teach. The students are supposed to be industry-ready according to the new curriculum but actually they are not. Exams are very difficult, even if you study. Professors give very low marks.
Other: I got this course and college in my NTA college selection round. Everything should be improved. The last techno-cultural FEST was awesome. Mohit Chauhan came and we had a very fun event.

MNIT has good faculty and placement but bad infrastructure.
Placements: The total student in the batch is approximately one thousand, out of which about 800 are placed during the placement session, and the highest package is about 60 Lacs, and the lowest is 6 Lacs. Around 200 students get internships in the pre-final year. The top role is to make yourself the best.
Infrastructure: Let me talk about the infrastructure, which is not that good. You have to compromise with the infrastructure, but you have all-time access to Wi-Fi on the campus. The canteen here makes awesome food, and there are lots of playgrounds where you can enjoy your college life. The mess food is very dirty and unhealthy.
Faculty: The faculty here is amazing, and they provide the best possible knowledge about the subjects they teach. The curriculum is very relevant, and it makes students ready for the industry. The semester exams are generally on the tougher side, so you have to prepare hard so you won’t find any difficulty.
Other: Mechanical engineering is my dream branch, and its application in the real world amazes me, which caused me to choose it. The fest is very awesome—technical fest Avishkar and cultural fest Culrav are amazing.

Good for placements because out of all NITs, our college has reported better placements.
Placements: Last year, approximately 50% got placed from BT. This year, the situation might improve. The highest placement was from Deutsche Bank, approximately 19 CTC. Mostly, consultancy companies are good for placement in this branch. Top roles include Data Analyst, Business Analyst, and Software Developer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Mess food is okayish, only veg. The library has too many rubbish rules, like you can't take two notebooks inside. You have to leave your bag outside and carry your laptop, charger, notebook, bottle, and everything with your hand. Sports are good, but not much help from above. Canteen serves veg with egg only. Medical consultation is free, but medicine has no reimbursement.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. The curriculum is good, but it can get a bit hectic sometimes. The biotech curriculum is a bit tough. You will get enough time to focus on other skills like development or consultancy roles or anything that you like. Many are preparing for civil services and also for GATE and CAT exams for MBA. These are also other options that can be taken while you are in college.
Other: Less hectic schedule. Enough time to do some other things.

Life at MNNIT has been a turbulent one but what can be done. It's not that bad .
Placements: Internship opportunities are available in the third year but aren't very common or large in number. Last year, there were 150 people who got internships out of a 1000-person batch. The top recruiting companies at our college are Microsoft, Atlassian, Goldman Sachs and a few others. The average package is around 1100000 and the highest has been 1.18 crore.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are there for boys and girls separately but the number of hostels for girls is sufficient. Mess food differs according to the mess but overall, it is average if rated. The Wi-Fi facility is not very good sometimes.
Faculty: The teachers are interested in teaching. The semester is hard to keep up with; it depends on the branch, though. Overall, the course is difficult to medium, with frequent assignments assigned to us. The exams are conducted fairly. The course curriculum is relevant, I would say.
Other: There was no particular reason for choosing this course; it was distributed based on JEE scores but now that I have joined it, there are interesting things to learn and a whole new experience.
