Nagaland University Lumami Scholarship Details ,Nagaland - Other

Post Matric ST Scholarship:

A student should fulfil the following criteria to be eligible for this Scholarship.

1. The applicant must be pursuing post matric (above class X) studies and belong to Scheduled Tribe of Nagaland.
2. The Annual Income of the applicant's parents/guardians from all sources must not exceed ? 2.50 lakh (Rupees Two Lakh Fifty Thousand).
3. Applicant must be from Institution which has valid AISHE/UDISE code.
4. Students who have failed in their last examination (repeaters) are not eligible to apply.
5. Students who have availed this scholarship at one stage of education and have passed but are studying in the same stage of education in different stream/subject are not eligible. Example, a student who is currently pursuing BA course but has passed BCom and availed this scholarship while pursing BCom course will not be eligible to apply.

Nagaland State Merit Scholarship:

A student should fulfil the following criteria to be eligible for this Scholarship.

The applicant must be an indigenous inhabitant of Nagaland and pursuing post matric (above class X) studies in recognized institution.
OR
Non-indigenous inhabitants of Nagaland who are permanently settled in Nagaland and secured top 10 positions in Board/ University (within Nagaland) can also apply for this scholarship by enclosing necessary documents along with Xerox copy of Permanent Resident Certificate issued by the competent authority.

Fresh Application:

To apply for Fresh Application, a student must be studying in the first year of the Course. However, Engineering students with Lateral entry into 2nd year Engineering Degree Course after Engineering Diploma shall be eligible to apply as Fresh.

Qualifying Percentage to apply Fresh Application:

1.) Present class and year of the candidate should be XI / Diploma 1st year with minimum 80% in class 10 in last examination. Marks of best five subjects in class 10 would be considered for percentage calculation.

2.) Present class and year of the candidate should be Bachelor’s Degree 1st
Year with minimum 80% in class 12 in last examination. Marks of best five subjects in class 12 would be considered for percentage calculation.

3.) Present class and year of the candidate should be Engineering Degree
2nd Year (Lateral entry) with minimum 80% in diploma in last examination. Marks of all papers in all semesters of diploma would be considered for percentage calculation.

4.) Present class and year of the candidate should be PG 1st Year with minimum 70% at Bachelor/Graduation level in last examination. Marks of all papers in all semesters of the Bachelor/Graduation course would be considered for percentage calculation.
