A:

Admissions to PG courses are based on entrance exams, which means candidates must qualify for assessments such as JEE Main; however, UG admissions rely on merit, considering scores from the most recent qualifying exam. Life at the National Forensic Sciences University.
Placements: B.Sc. LL.B. was launched in 2021, and the batch is currently ongoing. We have an internship assistance cell for providing internships to students in NGOs, national and state commissions, law firms, etc. The university provides placement in most of the courses at top companies like EY, Deloitte, Mahindra, etc. So one can expect good placement in this course as well, as this is a course with a blend of data science and law.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent, with high security. Classrooms are high-tech with cameras, fire alarms, and air-conditioning. Wi-Fi is available on campus, and the labs and library are well-maintained with updated computer versions and a sufficient number of books. Hostel is available inside the campus with a mess. The quality of food in the mess is very good. There are lots of cultural activities and sports events taking place at this university.
Faculty: The law faculty members are very good in terms of their experience and qualifications. Most of them have doctorates in their field. The curriculum is well-designed for students in order to make them industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate, and one can easily pass if well-prepared.
Other: The course itself explains why one should opt for this course because it is not like other traditional 5-year integrated courses; it is a course for those who want to be different from other lawyers or legal experts, as this course provides experts in data science and law, also called tech-proficient lawyers.

It is the emerging forensic law school.
Placements: B.Sc. LL.B. is a highly experimental and necessary course today that provides a unique blend of law and data science, making excellent and technically proficient law experts. Approximately 90% of the batch was placed with an average package of 12.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA by Goldman Sachs. Students are placed in law firms, IT firms, fintech companies, and cyber security firms as corporate lawyers, data scientists, cyber security experts, data analysts, etc.
Infrastructure: Since the college is directly under the ministry, funding isn't an issue. The institute has labs that meet international standards, state-of-the-art cyber security and law cells, high-speed Wi-Fi, and highly advanced air-conditioned classrooms. Hostels are the problem. As the campus is small, the hostel is always full and cannot accommodate everyone. The mess food is hygienic and delicious.
Faculty: Faculty members are at par with NLUs. They are from IIT Kharagpur, NLSIU Bangalore, HNLU, Nirma University, MSU Vadodara, etc. They have decades of experience in the law field. The curriculum is also on par with the best law colleges. The data science part is the same as the course offered by IIT Madras. Classes and assignments are dealt with rigorously. Students are under constant pressure to excel. There are 3 exams in a semester. There are also some internal exams and a final exam.

The emerging prestigious university, NFSU.
Placements: Our law school is new; till now, no batch has passed yet, so it is not fair to comment on the future placement prospects of the law school. Other schools of NFSU are doing well in terms of placement, like the highest placement for M.Teach was 50 LPA. Our law school has an internship assistance cell; our seniors have secured internships at different law firms and commissions.
Infrastructure: NFSU has a top-notch ultra-modern campus; we also have a fully functional central library. NFSU does provide on-campus hostel facilities, but due to a shortage of seats, only a few candidates get the on-campus hostel. The food quality of the hostel mess is average; they don't provide non-veg food.
Faculty: NFSU has a highly qualified team of faculty members; most of the faculty hold Ph.D. in their respective field. We have B.Sc. LL.B. in Data Science, considering the evolving nature of the legal field and development of the tech field, this course holds lots of potential. NFSU is very strict about their exams; one has to study hard to pass as in law school a minimum of 50% is required to pass.
Other: This course was quite unique, and considering the future potential that it holds, I chose this course. NFSU should work to improve their sports infrastructure; we don't have many options when it comes to sports. NFSU doesn't organize an annual fest as such, but we do celebrate each major festival.

Blending of law and IT in NFSU.
Placements: Since we have a blending of both law and computer courses, we have a fair chances in both corporate and law institution. No batches have passed till now, this course had started only in 2021. The college provides regular internships after each semester to the students at different organisation.
Infrastructure: Classes have all kind of state of the art facilities but we don't have in campus accommodation for all the students, rather they have to live in private hostel or public hostel having an mou with our college. We have the sports complex but we have as such play ground reserved for cricket and football.
Faculty: We have around 3 internal exam and in the end one final exam. Faculty members are great and very supportive also the ratio of teacher to student is only 1:25. These internal exams are normal but the end term exams are pretty hectic and lengthy. This course is a futuristic course.
Other: Campus life is good but we donhave in campus hostel for all the students, regular events on festivals are organised by the different college committee. I majorly choose this course due to my keen into law and it both. Also this college is under the ministry of Home affair.

Students also asked

Q:   Is M.Sc. at NFSU worth the investment?

A:
{Source: M.Sc. students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what you need to consider:

Infrastructure and Facilities
* The campus has a fully AC library with a vast collection of books and resources.
* Classrooms are well-equipped with smartboards and air conditioning.
* Canteen food is good, and options are available at an affordable price.
* Sports facilities include indoor games, although outdoor game options are limited.

Teaching and Faculty
* Teachers are well-educated, knowledgeable, and experienced in their respective fields.
* They are willing to help students both academically and personally.

Placements
* Placements for M.Sc. Forensic Science students are limited, with few companies visiting the campus.
* Some students may find placements in related fields, such as cyber-security, but these opportunities are scarce.
* Internship options exist, especially in mental health hospitals.

Course Content and Curriculum
* The course covers a wide range of topics in forensic science, introducing students to various fields in the first two semesters.
* Specialization occurs in the third semester, and dissertation and internships take place in the final semester.
* The curriculum is rigorous, with multiple exams per semester, but manageable with regular attendance and attention in classes.

Value for Money
* Tuition fees vary depending on the course, but M.Sc. Clinical Psychology costs around INR200,000 per year.
* While placements are limited, senior students reported receiving packages ranging from INR10-15 Lacs per annum.
* Many graduates choose to pursue higher education, such as a Ph.D. or a Diploma in counseling.

Considering these factors, whether M.Sc. at NFSU is worth the investment depends on individual goals and priorities. If you're interested in forensic Science and are prepared for a challenging academic environment, NFSU may offer valuable learning experiences and networking opportunities. However, if you're seeking guaranteed placements or high-paying jobs directly upon graduation, you may want to explore alternative options. Ultimately, weigh the pros and cons carefully before making an informed decision.
