The infrastructure is good, studying here will surely be a good experience.

Placements: We in our university have good placement offers provided we do well in programming and related stuff. Very highly paid jobs are left empty just because of lack of skills in students. There were times where students got high salaries. It depends on the calibre of students. If you are a person who can do the excellent job in programming, this university is for you.

Love the placements - NIIT university, B.Tech in computer science and engineering.

Placements: My seventh semester is going on, and I have already been placed in a very good company in Bangalore. I love the work done by our placement cell, and they are working hard to get their students placed in different reputed companies with high packages. Almost 90% of the students are placed in internships and jobs as well.

Somewhat every student defines his life at NIIT University in his own way.

Placements: Placements were fine. More than 90% of students were placed. One student got placed in Amazon. Companies like Tech Mahindra, PwC, Cognizant, some consulting companies, cyber security companies, etc came. Students have a compulsion to get internships here. I don't know much about placements. All I can tell you is that the college tries its best to get you placed. But at the end of the day, it all depends on you. Your skill set, how you talk, how you respond, your skills and knowledge. No one can ...

Excellent infrastructure with all the facilities.

Placements: 75% percent of the students are placed somehow. 12 lac pa was the highest package while 2 lac pa was the lowest. On an average, 4-5 lac pa was the package obtained. Major companies were Amazon, PWC, TechMahindra, KPMG, Citrus, Cognizant, IBM, Pay U, Sapient, Urban Clap, NIIT Technologies, etc. Companies like PWC and KPMG offered consultant jobs. IBM and Citrus hired students for data-science while other companies offered software development jobs.

It is average as it's neither too good nor too bad.

Placements: The placements weren't that good. It benefitted only a certain section of the students. The placement cell could have worked harder on this. But the internships were pretty good at the same time and no one knows if they are going to turn into pre-placement offers.

Don't attend NIIT University and waste your college years.

Placements: I didn't get placed. The college really did not care whether I lived or died after my graduation, let alone whether I got placed anywhere. So I can't speak for this from personal experience. Anecdotally, a lot of people get hired for awful wages at big startups where their best years are used up making some VC rich.

A unique experience, in both senses.

Placements: Considering that the college opened recently and that a lot of companies don't entertain new colleges, they have done a pretty good job in terms of bringing people to their fold. The packages are pretty standard. Although our website may claim it to be around 5.5 LPA, the actual figures will be somewhere closer to 4.8 or so.

University of future? More like mentality of the past.

Placements: Our batch had the largest intake compared to our previous batches, as much as 4 times the strength of the previous batch. There were some problems with placements because of that but there is only so much the college can do for you. The students had to crack the interview and the people that didn't get placed through on campus placements blamed the college but it was their own shortcoming. Major companies were IBM, PwC, CitrusPay, and Amazon. The highest salary in our batch was 12 lakhs p.a. an...

Good college for opportunity grabbers.

Placements: Placements for our senior batch were nearly 90% but only the 10-15% of the people were in a good salary package (i.e. above 7-8 lakhs). The highest salary offered was 15 lakhs PA and it went to only one student while the lowest was as low as 2.5 lakhs PA. The big companies which came for the campus recruitment were Amazon, IBM, PwC, Justdial and Citrus Pay. The job variety was a lot. Students have even got into marketing and sales roles apart from the basic web dev, android dev, data analytics, ...

Only thing good about the college is the infrastructure, rest all other things are below average.

Placements: Placements at NIIT University is not at all good. Our senior most batch was placed at good organisations but after that, the placement rate just kept decreasing. Most of our batch found jobs by themselves instead of relying on the college. Our batch was of 180 (approx) students. And only I think approx. 30 students got placed from college. Rest others have got jobs themselves because of their own hard work and talents, for which the college plays no role. They show 99.8% placements, but in real...

Good infrastructure and campus but dissatisfying faculty and placements

Placements: Placements are not up to the mark like they used to be. The problem is that they never had a big strength batch and 2016 batch was the largest till date. That is why many students were not placed. Companies did not come in large numbers even for internships. They should have had more connections. Only 40% of the students were placed from the batch of 2016 (40% of 190 students).

Satisfied with the facilities and life here at NIIT University (NU).

Placements: The placements at the college are okay. We had 97.3% placements in the last academic year. Lowest salary being offered was by one of the mass recruiting companies at 3 LPA and one of my seniors got a PPO of 12 LPA at Amazon. All the roles were technical in nature.

Great infrastructure, average faculty and above average placements.

Placements: Placements at NIIT University have been good. The highest package offered was Rs 12 lakhs in 2013 while last year, only a package of 11 lakhs was offered by Amazon and one student bagged a vacancy. The average package goes around 3-4 lakhs which is good considering other colleges. But the companies require you to maintain a minimum CGPA to appear for the interview. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant and Wipro come for the placements. The college itself offers an i...

NIIT University - The university of the future.

Placements: Our college follows the structure of BITS Pilani. Half of the passing out batch goes for their industrial practice (internship for 6 months) from July to December and the other half goes from January to June. The usual percentage of students placed from the campus is around 70%. But most of my seniors are well placed at good companies. The highest package from the campus last year was 15 lakhs per annum. Internships are a bit slack in this college and you must find them on your own, but accordin...

Must read before thinking to join NIIT University.

Placements: Placements for 2016 batch wasn't 100% but people did go to good companies/startups from their own resources. Cognizant, Amazon, GeekforGeeks, PayU, PwC, IBM were some of the big giants who came for placements. The highest package was 12.5 LPA and the average was 5.6 LPA. During the internship, the minimum bar was 10k so the average was 10k.

Good but not the best! Life is less social but get a lot to learn.

Placements: Previous records are not very luring but this time the management is trying to get all of us placed in good places. We also undertake soft skills and aptitude classes so as to improve our employability. Students aspiring for GATE are given special attention and extra classes too.

Decent private college if you can't go anywhere else.

Placements: Placements consist of 4-5 really good companies (Amazon, PWC, KPMG, IBM, PayU etc.) who offer packages of 5 LPA+. Apart from that, other companies & start-ups who come offer decent compensation but not a great name. Roles offered are primarily technical, with a few non-technical and consulting roles. The college could place about 70% of the batch in total, while the rest got their own jobs/internships.

It is good but too costly. It is like buying a Benz at the cost of a Ferrari.

Placements: This year there is a little change in our placements and industrial practice scheme, and I think it is really getting better and better every year. Previously placement percentage was 94% and this time, it seems to be 100% at least (98-99% is for sure).

There is a short line which summarizes our college, "University For Future".

Placements: Placements are good till now. About 80% of students got placed and highest salary offered is 13 lakhs per annum and lowest is 4 lakhs per annum. Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Dynamic Square, Justdial, IBM, etc. visited our campus. Employee roles are offered based on their technical knowledge. Considering the internships, they are less. Only 30% internships are taken. The highest average stipend is 25000 and the lowest is 10000.

At an amazing location, good infrastructure with good food and an average group of teachers.

Placements: First of all, I want to make it a clear statement that NIIT Ltd. company is not responsible for placements or internships. So, as we all started, there were very less companies coming for recruitment. But, it is increasing year by year. But to be frank, there are few students only who can make into good companies through placements here. This is so because very few are able to pass the aptitude test. Also, right now, many major companies also are not added to our list. But in the future, there w...
