Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, average placements in 2024, and okish infrastructure.
Placements: As of now, in my university, I'm able to observe that in terms of recruiters, only a few startups are coming to recruit students and very few MNCs. Even TCS is not satisfied with the performance of students here. Here, you can get IP, which they call something very revolutionary, but it's not.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is fine, but in summers, the hostel rooms are so hot because there is no option for air conditioning. Here, you get the Earth Air Tunnel System, which is not at all useful. Mess food is fine. You have to buy equipment for your projects; they don't get it for you.
Faculty: Only 3-4 professors are familiar with their subjects. Other professors actually don't even know what to teach. The academic dean is completely crazy. They hardly give you marks. Teaching quality is totally below average. The students are not at all industry-ready.
Other: I would like this college to improve its course faculty first. Also, the higher post dean doesn't realize the quality of teachers they have here. Events are below average. It is located in Neemrana, where you hardly want to step outside the campus because you won't get a single useful thing out here. Here, you won't get Blinkit, or Zepto because the area is too underdeveloped.

NIIT University: A Fusion of Academic Excellence and Industry-Driven Innovation.
Placements: From past year records and as mentioned on our college website, all the students who appeared for placements got placed. The lowest package was around 5-6 LPA, the average was 10-11 LPA, and the highest was 25-30 LPA. Some companies that visit our college are Genpact, TCS, Cognizant, and Infosys. Many students receive industry-relevant internships each year in companies like Wipro, Airtel, Zomato, and E&Y.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and hostel are pretty good compared to other private universities. The college has 2 hostels for girls and 2 for boys. The whole college is equipped with good Wi-Fi service, and the mobile network is also strong, with 5G working on most of the campus. We have digital labs, classrooms, lecture halls, a library, and rooms for table tennis, music, dance, meetings, and an auditorium. The boys' hostel has triple, double, and single rooms. Choosing a single seater requires a higher payment compared to a triple seater. Each hostel has bathrooms and toilets for each wing, with geysers and water coolers. Rooms have EAT, which is basically natural A/C. The food quality at the mess is excellent compared to other colleges. The college has a snack shop, two restaurants, and a medical clinic available 24/7. There are also football, cricket, and basketball courts for outdoor activities.
Faculty: Teachers here are very professional, understanding, and helpful since they live on campus, which is beneficial for us as we can seek their guidance anytime. The teaching quality is good, as they ensure that each student follows along and understands each topic. The course curriculum is relevant and designed to prepare students for the future, ensuring they acquire industry-relevant knowledge. The curriculum also enables us to seek industry practice in our final year, providing exposure to real-world scenarios. Honestly, semester exams are not that difficult if you follow your teachers' notes and are a regular student who understands the topics taught in class.
Other: My motive to pursue B.Tech in CSE at NIIT University is firstly the ROI, which is pretty good compared to other private universities. Secondly, campus life is excellent, with a focus on sustainable development and greenery. We have many fests like TEDx, AIESEC, HULT Prize, Techfest Sinusoid, and Cultural Fest Ingenuity, along with several clubs that keep college life interesting apart from studying. The student crowd is smaller compared to other private colleges, resulting in less competition for placements and decent packages. We also receive scholarships in the first year based on our entrance exam and 12th-grade marks, which remain if we maintain a CGPA above 6 every year. Scholarships can be waived off when we achieve a 10 CGPA in a year, benefiting many students.

The University of the Future, Niit University, Neemrana.
Placements: The university is good in terms of placements, as it offers 100% placement to all students who pursue the course. The highest package I saw was like 11 LPA, and the lowest I saw was 4.5 LPA. Most students are hired for manager-level posts and given a good package.
Infrastructure: Talking about infrastructure, the university has a giant aqueous system, which is all-natural. The whole campus follows the go-green slogan. The food in the mess is average, but a student can get good food in restaurants and cafes at the university that tastes amazing.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and supportive. They had extreme knowledge and experience in their fields, respectively. All the faculty have graduated and done PhDs. The semester exams are not that difficult, the pass percentage is also above 95%, and students are industry-trained from the 2nd year itself.
Other: The best thing about this course is that it is completed in 4 years, while if we do a BBA or MBA, it takes 5 years. At the university, there are great festivals like sinusoid, ingenuity, etc., which keep students happy.

Amazing and supportive faculty, wonderful opportunities and a chance at growth.
Placements: If you maintain a good CGPA (around >7.00), you are likely to get placed in top companies like IBM, Wipro, etc. Many students also start their own businesses and startups too. According to our alumni, they received promotions to higher positions in less than six months or so. The college presents a lot of opportunities, but you need to work hard to obtain them.
Infrastructure: The campus is huge and still under expansion. We have extremely high-quality labs and professional equipment for better hands-on experience. The campus is located at the foot of the Aravalli hills, with lots of greenery and beautiful sights. However, sometimes there are issues regarding connectivity. The Wi-Fi will sometimes not work and will take a long time (<2hrs) to get fixed. It would be better if you have an MD plan of your own. The mess food is hygienic and actually tastes good. The menu changes every month. There is a separate mess for students.
Faculty: Almost all teachers have PhDs in their respective fields, which enhances their teaching. They're helpful and knowledgeable. Even if you understand topics, you are free to approach the teacher in their private cabins for private lessons. There is a wonderful student-teacher support system that one can utilize for their benefit. The course and course material are modified periodically to incorporate new developments in these fields. It is observed that first-years struggle a lot during semester exams; however, to compensate for that, we have marks for things like attendance, projects, and practicals.
Other: I already intended to pursue this course after 12th, however, I found out that this college was the only one that could grant me an engineering degree without having taken Maths in 11th and 12th. There are two dedicated and state-of-the-art labs just for biotechnology students to utilize. Our campus hosts two main fests: SiNUsoid, the tech fest, and IngeNUity, the cultural fest. Campus life is great since it's a 100% residential campus. There is a wide range of extracurricular activities, including clubs that students can engage in.

Our university has good placements and campus life.
Placements: Around 100% placements are provided. Companies like Big basket and Morgan Stanley come to recruit students. Roles offered are mostly SDE and data analyst. University does not provide internships in the 2nd or 3rd year but there is an internship program in the last semester.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is very unreliable. Classrooms are well maintained but have no air-conditioners. There is an underground air-cooling solution called the EAT. Food is average. Medical facilities are nice and can get most of the items from the tuck shop.
Faculty: Some faculty members are nice while the rest are not up to the mark. The curriculum is very hectic and a little ill-planned. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The curriculum planned is not good as it adds a lot of pressure on the students in the last 2 years of the university.
Other: Fee is high.

This college is not worthy, so I would recommend Amity instead.
Placements: Around 100% of students are placed. But students who do not get placements, internships are provided to them at NIIT. The highest salary package offered is 21 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are IBM, Wipro, Big Basket, etc. Almost 100% of students get internships, but students who do not get normal internships, get to work in NIIT company. The role offered is entry-level.
Infrastructure: In this college, the food is hygienic in the kotak hostel. This college provides a physics laboratory, chemistry laboratory, biology laboratory, and electronic laboratory. There are grounds for games, but they are not well-maintained. The football ground has many holes in it.
Faculty: There are two-three teachers who know how to teach, and others do not even know what they are talking about. The curriculum is fairly relevant. It provides important skills like OS, and students have some practical subjects like caption and MDP. Exams are easy to pass in this college. Students can study for 5 days, and they can crack the exam easily.
Other: This college is average and the fee structure is huge. I would recommend Amity or Manipal because students will get exposure.

NIIT University Admission 2025 FAQs

Q:   What is the difference between EAD and RAD admission at NIIT University?

A:

NU also offers two modes of admission. EAD refers to the Early Admission mode. Under EAD, students apply to their desired programme before appearing for their Class 12 board examinations. EAD continues till Class 12 result declaration date (CBSE board). RAD is the Regular Admission mode. Under RAD, students apply to NU once their Class 12 board examination results are declared, which is when the usual admission season commences. A student can apply through either mode; it won't affect their chances of selection.
