Top institute of biotechnology.
Placements: Placement is very bad, especially for our department. Biotechnology core companies are very few; most placement is done for B.Tech students, especially CS-aligned branches. The highest CTC is 56 LPA, and we do not get that even in dreams. Our package starts at 4 LPA, and the highest is 11.2 LPA. Some people get jobs in some other field, not in biotechnology. Few go abroad for jobs, mostly in Austria. The college gives internships, and we can also try for internships; most companies easily give internships as we are NIT students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very big and near the city centre. In the first year, there are so many restrictions that we can not use gym and seniors ragging juniors is very common. There is a big library but not a hall for studying; other students come and disturb others. Classrooms are large and equipped with Wi-Fi, as is the library and hostel. Most hostels are very old and we have to live with 3 friends in a room up to the final year, which is a maximum of 2 people. Hostel food is very bad and not eatable but there is no other option. Our college medical unit is the worst and needs improvement.
Faculty: Attendance is a big issue; if attendance is less than 75%, your first grade is deducted. You may not like the teaching style of professors but you need to adjust to their methodology. All faculty are highly talented and qualified. The biotechnology course is demanding and we have NIT status. Our curriculum is the best in India, mostly practical-based. semester is very hard to pass. Many things, like practicals, assignments, vivas, major and minor projects, internal and external, all need to perform well .
Other: The college hostel and warden are very strict; we feel like we are stuck in jail; there is no freedom .

I am very satisfied with the facilities of this college.
Placements: 100% placement is available across all sectors such as banking, telecom, FMCG, and leading marketing firms. Some government visitors include HSBC, Access Bank, Just Dial, Eureka Forbes, HFC, and PwC, among others. Many students receive 2-3 offers simultaneously. The average package touches a peak of 9.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Recently, the Research Excellence Building was inaugurated, which will positively impact the college's reputation and ranking. Overall, the quality of food is excellent and healthy. The college boasts two grounds and a large library with numerous collections.
Faculty: Our class has a maximum of 80 students, with 16 teachers assigned to this course. Each subject is taught by a teacher with a degree from a reputed foreign university who uses innovative teaching methods. There are three types of exams: midterm, end-semester, and class assignments. A midterm course takes 1.5 months, and an end-of-semester exam occurs 4 months after classes begin.
Other: The campus atmosphere, fresh environment, events, festivals, and the connectivity between teachers and students make this campus truly beautiful.

It is an excellent college.
Placements: The placement cell at our college was so good. The previous year, students were eligible for campus placement. Top recruiting companies visited our campus. The salary package offered was 16 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility at our college was so good. We had a huge hostel at our college. The hostel rooms were huge. Two students were living in one room. The hostel rooms were good. Purified drinking water was provided. The quality of food in the canteen was good.
Faculty: It was a good course. Our teachers were good and friendly with students. The teaching quality was good. All teachers were well qualified. Most of them were Ph.D. holders. Exams were held every semester.

This college has scored 10th rank in 2018. Faculty members are average.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities for the students of our stream, but students can opt for higher studies, and they can opt for teaching. They even try for the assistant professor roles. Students can also apply for R&D jobs by taking fellowship from the government. If you have passion and interested in studies, you will be busy all the time. As the college has started this stream recently, it will develop in the future. But students shouldn't expect more from the college.
Infrastructure: The campus is big, and the college provides good facilities like Wi-Fi, laundry, classrooms, libraries, books, more than 20 newspapers, separate study rooms. Three sharing for 1st year and 2nd year hostel students. Two 3rd year students should share one hostel room, and every 4th-year student will be allotted one room.
Faculty: The teachers are average. Many activities are included in the course curriculum. The college encourages sports, robotics, workshops and fun activities. Teachers make the classes boring unlike the teachers in coaching institutes. There are separate buildings for different semesters. They don't put any pressure, and they make the students relax. Students don't have any restrictions and limitations when it comes to course.
