All good but water scarcity is there.

Faculty: The faculty is moderate. The course is relevant, but mechanical workshops are the only technical aspect. Teachers are highly qualified, helpful, and interactive with students. They are always ready to address students' doubts and help them. The passing marks for the end-of-semester exam are a minimum of 15 out of 50, and a total of 40 marks out of 100 are needed to pass the course.

Overall I can proudly say that I am in a good and prestigious college.

Faculty: The faculty, staff, curriculum, and the most non-debatable topic, examinations, are good in our college. Currently, only mid-semester examinations have been conducted. Those exams were conducted strictly and formally for all NIT students. But I did not do my best.

Good environment overall, but the hostels are of very bad quality, with several water problems.

Faculty: Some teachers have very good knowledge and behavior, while others are rude and misbehave. They try to portray themselves as superior while ensuring that even the slightest mistakes are pointed out at every opportunity.

Beautiful campus, decent placements, good campus life.

Faculty: There are two exams: mid-semester and end-semester in one semester. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The curriculum is good. Semester exams are a bit on the tougher side. The passing percentage depends on faculty members and their marking. Teachers in the college are helpful. The teaching quality at the institute is on the average side.

Faculty are good but some are very rude.

Faculty: The teachers are good and have a minimum of a Ph.D. degree. Some of the teachers are very supportive. The exam level in electrical engineering is a little bit hard, and then marking is also hard, so you have to work hard to get a good CGPA. The pass percentage is sometimes like 25-40 students failing in difficult subjects like electrical machines and power systems. But some subjects have a 100% pass percentage.

Overall the college is good with good infrastructure.

Faculty: You will have a little bit academic pressure but the faculty is awesome. The teachers are highly knowledgeable, you won't have any issue regarding studies. There is a library too in which there are a lot of books. There is a study room also in campus, you will feel free to study.

NIT Hamirpur has a beautiful campus and great infrastructure.

Faculty: Faculty is very helpful and qualified, course curriculum is relevant and is helpful for one to get placement, and semester exams are moderately difficult. Passing percentage is around 45% now, used to be 30% for my batch for all the juniors, and upcoming batch it will be 45%.

NIT Hamirpur: The heaven for students.

Faculty: Two exams are conducted in a semester: midterm and endterm. Mid-semester is 30 marks and end-semester is 50 marks. The rest 20 marks are for internal. The passing percentage is 40%. Exams are not too tough. One can score good marks by referring to class notes. Faculty are helpful here.

NIT Hamirpur- The campus that feels like heaven.

Faculty: The teaching quality varies from one teacher to another. The teachers are highly experienced and are experts in their own field. As NEP 2020 is introduced our course curriculum has changed a little bit but still some improvement is required and yes we get exposure to real time projects. For exams, some exams are difficult while some are not and the pass percentage is 40%.

Life at NIT Hamirpur: campus just like heaven.

Faculty: The faculty is well educated, and all the faculty members are PhD holders. We have a common syllabus for the first year, and then from the second year, we will have a separate syllabus related to our branch. There are two semesters in one year, and in one semester, we have to give two exams: mid-semester and end-semester. The mid-semester exams are of 30 marks, while the end-semester exams are of 50 marks. There are no practicals in the mid-semester, but in the end-semester, we have to give prac...

It is a beautiful college with very good infrastructure and faculty.

Faculty: The faculty are qualified and knowledgeable, and most teachers are good and helpful. The course curriculum has recently been updated to meet industry-level requirements, making students industry-ready. Semester exams are somewhat difficult to pass and very challenging for achieving a high CGPA.

Satisfied with this college so much about its environment and all the facilities.

Faculty: Teachers of our faculty are all well knowledgeable, with a very experienced background. They teach very well about their subjects for better understanding. They are very friendly with students and clear all the doubts. Semester exams are not very hard and they are moderate.

Our college has a very good academic foundation and scenic compass but could improve in practical.

Faculty: Our faculty members are not very good. The curriculum is good. Exams are very difficult compared to HW. The mid-term exams make it very difficult to score more marks. Teachers of mathematics can't give step marking. If students' answers are wrong, they can not get any marks. This is one of the toughest courses. Students have to work hard to pass exams.

Really good infrastructure and good atmosphere to concentrate on your studies.

Faculty: Teachers here are very supportive and dedicated to their respective responsibilities. Each and every teacher here is a PhD holder from renowned institutes. The course curriculum is designed to provide the best content and industry knowledge by teaching them real-life applications of what they have learnt. Semester assessments are moderate, and if you are sincere a little bit, then you can easily crack a good CGPA.
