NIT Hamirpur: An Honest Review.

Infrastructure: Hostels are less according to the number of students, so rooms are congested because they have more students. Rooms have beds, chairs, tables, and almirahs. For the first three years, students live in 3/4 occupancy rooms. Bathrooms are not maintained but are cleaned regularly. Mess food is average. There was no Wi-Fi facility in my hostel, but 2-3 hostels were having it, though the quality was not good. The library was big and contained many books. Medical facilities were good, and medicines wer...

There will be good placements at this college.

Infrastructure: The hostel will cost one Lacs four thousand per year, and the hostel rooms will be very clean. There will be room sharing, like 2 or 3 per room. If you want to be with any specific sharing, it will be provided. The mess food will be average, the same all other colleges, and there will be sports that we can participate in from our college side. The canteen will be good with moderate prices.

Good environment overall, but the hostels are of very bad quality, with several water problems.

Infrastructure: Most of the faculty is knowledgeable and good, but some teachers are quite rude and misbehave. Certain lectures can be hard to understand because of the teachers' accents. They also frequently remind us that we are beneath them, which I feel is inappropriate when addressing freshers.

Good placements in 2018 and good infrastructure and sports facilities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is one of the best in the state. Wi-Fi facilities are available, labs are well-equipped, classrooms are well maintained, and libraries are very good. Any book can be issued easily. Hostels are good and well maintained. The quality of food in the mess is okay; breakfast is very nice, lunch is okay, and dinner is a nightmare for students. Medical facilities like a dispensary are present and very good, and sports facilities are present.

NIT Hamirpur College cum University.

Infrastructure: College campus has a total of 15-16 hostels, with separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostels are assigned based on seniority, i.e., first-year students are allocated different hostels, and the same for second, third, and fourth-year students.

Overall the college is good with good infrastructure.

Infrastructure: Campus wise the college is good but you have some restrictions in beginning of 1st year but overall it is good to take admission. There is no issue regarding mess food. It is decent as expected but the infrastructure is awesome. It is surrounded by mountains and trees.

All good but water scarcity is there.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average due to water scarcity in the hostel. A huge library is provided, with big classrooms and average meals in the mess. There are 5-6 canteens at different locations on campus. A hospital inside the campus provides free care. There is a huge ground and a Student Activity Centre for physical activities.

Overall I can proudly say that I am in a good and prestigious college.

Infrastructure: The classrooms, library, lecture halls, administrative block, central block, cafes, food points—the overall infrastructure is awesome. As we can see on Google, our college is the 2nd most beautiful engineering college in India after NIT Srinagar. It is totally naturally vegetated.

Beautiful campus, decent placements, good campus life.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Hostels also have good infrastructure. The quality of food is decent. Wi-Fi facility is available on campus as well as in the hostels, and some of the hostels have LAN facilities. The institute has a really good library, which is an excellent source for studying during exam times. There is a student activity center that has a gym, karate hall, indoor basketball court, badminton courts, snooker and pool tables, and table tennis. The institute also has a ...

Faculty are good but some are very rude.

Infrastructure: As it is an NIT, the infrastructure could be good, but it's average. I am in the 3rd year, staying in Neelkanth Boys Hostel. It has its own night canteen in the hostel, open between 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., and things are very cheap, like a mix paratha for 15 rupees. New Wi-Fi routers were installed but not opened, even after four months have gone by.

NIT Hamirpur has a beautiful campus and great infrastructure.

Infrastructure: Departmental building infrastructure is top notch for the one's that are new, and for the old ones it is decent, but facilities like WiFi are not there, the library is nice, hostels are 6/10 and food is 5/10. Sports facilities are top-notch too. Medical facilities are also there.

NIT Hamirpur- The campus that feels like heaven.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college, departments and campus is really good. The campus is quite beautiful and facilities like free Wi-Fi ,Sport facilities ,medical facilities are also available for the students. But for hostels the infrastructure is not good. The hostel staff is not at all helpful and supportive. The quality of mess food is also not up to the mark and basic facilities like water supply is not available most of the times in hostel.
