NIT Rourkela Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Every year, 100 percent of students are placed in different sectors, the highest package being 52 LPA from Microsoft and the lowest being 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj Auto, ITC, HPCL, BPCL, HUL, Maruti Suzuki, TVS, ICICI Bank, etc. Most of the roles are GET (Graduate Trainee Engineer) for the first year in the company.

Placements: But the placements in my college are really good. All students who get a CGPA of seven or above can sit for Amazon and Microsoft placements, and for Google, it is 8 CGPA, and they check your projects and works and everything. This year, the average package went about 18 LPA for computer science, and many of the students got placed. The highest was 1.2 crores this year.

Placements: The campus holds great placement records. Various multinational companies like Amazon and Google have been visiting the campus for the past few years. The average package offered in the course is 10 LPA. Around 90 percent of students are placed, and the rest have gone for higher studies.

Placements: 90% of the students are placed in Electronics and Communication Engineering course. The highest package is around 83 Lacs per annum and the lowest package is around 3 Lacs per annum, with the average package around 10 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are MediaTek, Accenture, Adobe, Amazon, Dell. 50% of the students got internships from our course at Amazon, Dell, Adobe.

Placements: BTech in Ceramic Engineering offers 100% placements, which is the highest among all branches. The highest package offered was INR 33 LPA, the lowest was INR 6 LPA, and the average was INR 12 LPA. I don’t have much information about the top recruiting companies.

Placements: The placement in Rourkela is good; it's in the top 3 NITS. Talking about placement in my course i.e civil engineering, it is decent; the average placement for this course is around 9 LPA, which is very less if you compare it with cs but 9 LPA in civil engineering is a decent amount to be paid as a starting package; the highest package goes around 30 LPA, so if you study well, then you can have a decent package of around 12-13 LPA, which is pretty good in this course.

Placements: About 80% of civil department students were placed in 2024. The highest package was around 30 LPA, the average package was 12 LPA, and the lowest package was around 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TATA STEEL, AMAZON, GAIL, APPLE, GAIL, etc. About 60% of civil undergraduates got internships at Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc.

Placements: Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, etc. and all service-based companies are our regular recruiters. Microsoft and Google have visited the campus and gave the highest package of 2500000. Tata Ceramics, Cera, and Vedanta recruit ceramic engineers. All of us are placed in my batch from Ceramic Engineering. Alumni is very strong for our NIT; this is more than 60-year-old college. I have no idea on startups from my batch.

Placements: Almost 100 percent of the people who sat for the placement got placed. The top recruiting companies were Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, Qualcomm, etc. The average package is around 15 LPA, with 24 LPA for CSE students. Internships are based on luck; some people get on-campus internships, whereas those who do not will get off-campus internships just because of the college brand. The top roles offered are software engineer, data analyst, data scientist, etc.

Placements: Nearly 100% of students are placed in our course every year, with the highest package being 32 to 40 lakhs per annum and the lowest around 3 to 4 lakhs per annum. The average package for our Electrical Engineering course this year is 14 lakh per annum.

Placements: According to the placements of 2023, the highest package offered in our is 83 lakhs per annum, and the average package is 15 lakhs per annum. The placement statistics of my branch are good, with students securing jobs in many sectors like manufacturing, automotive, IT, and consulting. The top recruiters were Tata Steel, Mahindra, L&T, etc.

Placements: Maximum 90 percent of the students will be placed in various fields. The highest package is 52 Lacs in our mechanical engineering department. The top recruiting companies are Tata Steel and JSW. The percentage of students getting is low. The top roles in my course is in machines design and modelling .

Placements: About 85 percent of students were placed in my course, with the highest package nearly 50 LPA in the tech field, and the average was 19 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Wipro, Texas Electronics, Tata, Infosys, etc. According to the data, 40 percent of students from my branch got internship opportunities, including one at Google and Texas Electronics.

Placements: Generally, 90% of students were placed in our course, and some people choose higher studies after graduation. The highest package in our branch is 14 LPA, and the lowest is about 3-4 LPA. The average package offered in our course is 8-9 LPA. Top recruiting companies include hospitals, government research centers, and pharmacy-related organizations. Everyone got an internship in our course, with top roles being researcher or bioengineer.

Placements: The overall placements are good. Almost all eligible students got jobs. The placement percentage of our branch was around 90%. Some of the students went for higher studies as well. Overall, the highest package in Chemical Engineering was 44 LPA from Microsoft. The highest package offered in core sector was 18.6 LPA, which was offered by BPCL to two students. Placements: All of the students who applied were placed in my batch, as I am from M.Sc. so most of the students opt for Ph.D. instead of placements. We had to do a 2-month internship and it's mandatory so everyone got internships in companies and IITs. The top role is most Ph.D. in prestigious institutions in India.

Placements: Out of the total number of students, 100% graduated, and there were a set of students who have opted to do courses to improve their skillset, whereas another 20% Of the total number of students have got placed from the college end . The highest package was 12 LPA, and the minimum was 32 LPA. The average package for my course is 6 LPA. Placements: Over the years, our college has had a good rate of placements for students in seventh semester. Companies like Google, Qualcomm, Verizon, John Deere and Disney Plus will give job offer for the students Some of the government agencies also visit our campus like ONGC, BPCL, etc. We had the highest package of 50 Lacs and average of 13 Lacs. We have 98 percent of students getting placements.
