Placements: The placement is fine and is reliable to some extent, ignoring the recession of last year. The maximum package reaches 80 LPA, with 3.5 LPA being the lowest and the average is 8 LPA. For a branch like CSE, placement is almost 100%. More than 80% of students get placed overall at NIT Silchar. The placement of core branches is a bit low but the maximum reaches above 20 LPA. Placements: In the electrical engineering department, more than 80% of students get placed. The highest package is 50+ LPA, and the average package is 12 LPA. Top recruiters are PSUs over Infosys and Microsoft. All students must do internships; it is in our curriculum. Most students preferred to do internships at PSU's.

Placements: placement percent of EE department in NIT Silchar is 80–85 percent. The highest package is 52 LPA, Average package is 12.5 LPA, and the lowest is about 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Google, Oil India, NTPC, Samsung, etc. About 50–55 percent got internships in different companies like Amazon, Samsung, Infosys, Oil India, NTPC, and many other core companies.

Placements: In my course, about 92% of students were placed last year. The highest package was 45 lacs per annum. The lowest was 6 lacs, and the average was 11 lacs. The recruiting companies include ONGC Oil, India Limited, Mahindra and Mahindra Tata. About 60% of students got internships.

Placements: In National Institute of Technology, Silchar, almost 90% of the students got placed. The highest package offered in our course is 52 LPA, and the average package offered in our course is 20 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Microsoft, NRL, TCS, etc. Almost every student got an internship from our course in good companies.

Placements: In my course every year, 70–80 percent of students got placed. This year, the highest package was 55 LPA. And the company was Amazon Web Services. Doing an internship is compulsory for everyone in our college. But this year, 15-20 students out of 77 got paid internships.

Placements: In 2023, the placement percentage was over 80 percent. The highest salary is 80 LPA in the computer science and engineering department. The average salary for computer science and engineering is 24 LPA for the year 2023. The average salary for the electrical engineering department stands at 14 LPA.

Placements: In my batch, around 70% of students are placed. The highest salary is around 70 LPA and average package for my branch is around 11 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Atlassian, AWS, Goldman Sachs, Oracle, and PSUs like EIL, BEL C-DOT, CDAC, etc. The top roles offered in my course are of GET and SDE.

Placements: I am in Electrical Engineering and in 2023, 87% students were placed from my department. Since I am from a circuital branch, the students can either opt for core jobs or IT jobs. The median package offered was 13.95 LPA. The highest package was of 80 LPA and the lowest was 3.2 LPA. The top companies that recruit from our college are Amazon, Microsoft, Atlassian, etc.

Placements: Last year, more than 80 percent of students were placed, with CSE having more than 95 percent of placements. The average was 17.5 LPA for CSE undergrads. The highest was 84 LPA for CSE. This year, the highest and average will both increase significantly. The overall placement is very good when compared to other NIT.

Placements: Mostly everyone in the college will get placed irrespective of their branch, whether it's circuital or non-circuital. The top recruiting companies are IBM, TCS, Microsoft, Adobe, etc. By the end of the 3rd year 1st semester, most students receive internship offers.

Placements: A good percentage of students got placed this year. Especially about 75 percent of students from the CSE branch were placed, and 60 percent of students from the EC branch. The percentage drops to 40 when we consider the civil and mechanical branches. The highest package from CSE is 40 LPA, and the lowest is between 3 to 5 LPA. Placements: I am from the Electronics and Communication Engineering department. I believe this is the best branch because it offers opportunities in both IT and core sectors. More than 60 percent of students secure internships every year.

Placements: Campus placements are outstanding. In 2022, during the placement session, CSE had an average placement of 24 Lacs. Remarkably, the campus hosts a large number of companies such as Microsoft, Adobe, and Amazon among others that constitute top recruiters. Additional, college also has good placements.

Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Atlassian, MICROSOFT, etc. Getting an internship is hard. If you are consistent and work hard in your studies, then you will definitely get an internship. Most apply for teaching roles such as software engineers, and some apply for core companies.
