A college where we can spent more time with nature.

Placements: In the CSE branch, the average package is 14 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, and many others. More than 80% of students get into their jobs. We have internship opportunities as well, which is a plus on our campus. Further, more than 94 companies visited our college previous year .

Satisfied because of friendly faculty, and good number of core companies for placements.

Placements: For the present batch of 2024, the placements in the electronics and communication branch are approximately 65 percent. The highest package is 56 LPA, the lowest package is 6 LPA and the average is 10 LPA. NIT Silchar is right now in the toughest phase of placement with recession and we are also getting many core companies like Nvidia, AMD and many great PSUs. Nearly 10% of students at ECE got internships at companies like Google and Unistring.

Review of NIT Silchar - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Till now, 60 percent are placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, with an average of 6 LPA and the lowest 4 LPA. Top companies are Amul, ITC, Berger Paints, IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Raychem, Star Cement, etc. The role offered maximum is management trainee. Not many internships came to the campus.

Review of NIT Silchar College.

Placements: In NIT Silchar, placement opportunities are decent. This year, the average placement offered in electrical engineering was around 12 LPA CTC, and the highest package offered was around 52 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Paytm, HCl, Byju's, Microsoft, etc. This college is good for the IT sector and decent for core branches in terms of placement.

I believe my college is good because of its faculty members.

Placements: About 90 percent of students are placed each year. The highest package offered is 80 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package offered is 8 lakhs per annum, with an average package offered of 14 Lacs per annum. The companies which recruit include Amazon, Microsoft, and others. More than half of the students secure internships, leading to high-paid salaries.

Placements: Above 80% of students are placed in college placements. The highest package here was 80 LPA, and the lowest was 8 LPA; the average was 14 LPA. NIT Silchar Insights-Dream turn into Reality.

Placements: Last year about 98% students were placed from our branch. The highest package was 64 Lacs the lowest was 7 and average was 18 Lacs. Top recruiting companies were Amazon Adobe Microsoft Acrenium Goldman etc. About 40% students got internship. Top roles offered are data analyst, design engineer, embedded engineer etc.

Satisfied about the placements but dissatisfied about the hostel facilities.

Placements: The placement rate for students in my course stands at 94%. The maximum package offered is 80lpa, while the average package is 24.07lpa. Key recruiting firms for my course include Amazon, IBM, Samsung, HCL, HP, Jio, Swiggy, Infosys, and Bosch. Approximately 70-80% of students secure placements.

This college is good, but the place where it is located is not good. Academic-wise, it is good.

Placements: About 97% of students got placed, and the remaining 3% pursued higher studies or government jobs. The highest package is 55 LPA for electrical engineering, the lowest package is 10 LPA for electrical engineering, and the average package is 12.34 LPA for electrical engineering. NIT Silchar- the most underrated NIT.

Placements: Around more than 200 companies visits our campus every year; some of them are Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Nvidia, Amazon, L&T, Indian Oil, etc. Some crucial roles offered by these companies are software developed, design managing, technical officer, etc. The highest package offered is 80 LPA in 2023 and the average package is around 15 LPA. In CSE and ECE, around 90% of students get placed.

The college is too good regarding its infrastructure, placement and facilities.

Placements: About 60 percent of students are placed in my course; the highest package is about 30 lacs; the average is 10 lacs; and about 40 percent of students get internships at good companies. As an architect, your house-making companies are Amazon and Tata, and you can also approach for off-campus placement. My last off-campus placement was 64 Lacs in the technical department.

I am satisfied because of the good ROI and helpful seniors and faculty.

Placements: For CSE students, the placement is almost 100%. The highest package offered last year was 80 LPA, the lowest package was 8 LPA, and the average is about 16 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Goldman Sachs, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, LinkedIn, etc. The internship opportunities are also good here, with companies coming from the 5th semester onwards to hire interns.

Placements were good in 2022. Just the issue is 75% attendance criteria.

Placements: In our college, almost 98% got placed last year and this time around till now almost 70% got placed and the placements are still going on. The highest was 80 Lacs CTC with 20 Lacs in hand and the lowest was 10 Lacs CTC. Some of the top companies are atlasiaan. Almost 60% +got internship last year, major companies being atlasian,media.net. The top role offered is SDE.

The worst infrastructure of NIT Silchar.

Placements: When I was taking admission in NIT silchar, the highest CTC was around 48lpa which is in computer science and engineering only. In CSE, it has a decent 18 LPA average package and overall 15 LPA average which is decent enough. The highest package is 80+ LPA.

It is okay to choose this college. Placements were good.

Placements: Near 80 percentage of students get placed last year, the highest package is 80 LPA offered and the average package is 16 LPA and the least package offered is 9lpa. There are to recruiting companies. Which will take somany people if you are decent enough you can get good package.

Decent college, satisfied by the placements, good faculty and proper infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are Good for circuital branches like CSE, ECE, EIE and decent placements for core branches like CE and ME. A hand full of PSUs do visit the campus for placements like BPCL IOCL, HPCL etc. Avg CTC of CSE for this year was 26LPA for ECE 18LPA for EIE 14 LPA for EE 12 LPA for ME 9LPA and for CE is 8 LPA.
