NEHU Shillong Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Those students who get 55% aggregate in their 12th are placed into B.Com at St. Anthony's College. The highest package is 25 LPA, and the lowest package is 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Tata, Jio, Adani, etc. About 25% of them get internships in these companies. The roles offered are Accountant, Auditor, General Ledger, Project Manager, etc.

Placements: About 1.6% of the total students are currently proceeding with homoeopathy. Our college provides a minimum internship package of 2.82 for every student. We get an average internship of 1.5 years here, during which we have to intern at our hospital for 9 months. For the rest, we'll be sent to hospitals nearby in Shillong or community centres.

Placements: A total number of 45 students were placed in my course but a few ended up dropping out in the first semester due to personal reasons. We are not offered any packages and none of us is going for internships either. But from time to time, we get opportunities to work with researchers.

The placements are quite good for the B.Tech department but for biotechnology, the placement opportunities are quite limited.

Placements: Our University Studies are beautiful. The placements here work very well. All students are posted for internship before placements. Jobs are also available here as a teacher, In forest department, Marine industry, Wildlife technician, etc. The highest package for this job is about 5 L LPA.

Placements: Above 60 percent of students got placed in our college with the highest package of 6.5 lakhs per annum and the lowest package of 2.5 lakhs per annum in recruiting companies like Deloitte. 50 percent of students got internships in their respective sectors. The roles offered in our course are chemist, toxicologist, etc.

Placements: Placements are good with a medium salary package of 7 lakhs per annum in recruiting companies like Dalmia Cement, etc. More than 40 students got internships in our college with 14 lakhs per annum. The top roles offered in our course are archaeologist, journalism, etc.

Placements: North Eastern Hill University is such a wonderful university. Here, placements are very good. Because our teachers will serve each student to provide us with good teaching quality. Here, all students are sent for an internship for industrial readiness. The annual package for this course is 12 to 15K only. And the highest and lowest packages are 7 to 10 LPA.
