Our college offers good life opportunities.

Placements: If you are looking for placements, then our college is not for you. There are no professional courses, so the scope of placements in our college is very low. However, since the fees are very low, you're probably not going to regret it. You are going to have to apply for jobs ultimately.

Overall, the college is good.

Placements: Students who play sports in high school may want to continue these activities in college. Although the playing field shifts somewhat with progression to collegiate-level sports, many young people continue to participate in organized sports. By learning about the organizations involved in college, sports and the recruiting process, a student can prepare for a successful and enjoyable college sports experience.

Placements: My course has 80% of students, of which 40% were male, and 40% were female students. Any company in India is applicable for my course. About 60% of students in this course are hired by local companies. In fact, the college teacher job is very good and useful. This college is good for those who can't do regular college, and for those who have a lot of responsibilities to help the family and also those who want to do both studies and job parallelly. This college is the best for them, and it provid...

It is a satisfactory college for forming a base for competitive examinations.

Placements: Students get a bachelor or master degree from NSOU. Degrees are UGC recognised. Students who are acquiring those degrees can enrol themselves on various competitive exams conducted by the government of India and various state governments, and they can get selected by Staff Selection Commission, UPSC, etc.

Satisfied Because of faculty members.

Placements: The Placement of this college is good as my learning was distance so my batch mates got recruited outside campus. For other courses the record of placement is better than our course. I do not know much about packages. For our course no companies came to our college that is why we did not sat in campus drive.

It is a good college for open education.

Placements: Our course is a general course, and people came here to study and take a degree. Students get placements in other courses, but our course is only for the purpose of taking a degree. In our course, we need not do internships as we get projects.

Review of NSOU - Netaji Subhas Open Univesity.

Placements: It was an open university, so there were no such placements. Almost all students from our class passed out, but only 1 student did not make it because he had to go to another state for his transfer job.

Better than some. Has Potential, Improving too.

Placements: I was a Physics (Honours) student of this college of the 2015-2018 batch. There is negligible placement scenario present for this course as well as other courses too. I had only seen a notification for TCS once. Also there were no internship received by any student in Physics course. Similarly must have been the scenario for other courses.

A Glimpse into Acharya Prafulla Chandra Roy Government College. A college surrounded with greenery.

Placements: As this is a general college and not an engineering one and provides Bachelor's degree in theoretical subjects so there is no official placements and all but you can easily apply for a summer internship at various prestigious institutes of the country by consulting with the faculty members. For example few of our students went to IISER Mohali, Hyderabad Central University for doing their summer projects.

Good value for open education and learning, I think I got what I wanted from a distance mode course.

Placements: As an English Hons Student, I don't have placement scenario. It is an Open University, it may not have placement option. In my stream, We have to complete B.Ed. Or B.E. To get jobs on teaching posts according to modern Teaching Guidelines of the Center. Management or Technical Courses may have placement option. But as Arts students we have to appear for various Government service Exams or competitive exams separately in this State.

It is very bad college. Wasted my money as well as time. There is no placement cell who ensure placements of students. It worth my money a lot as compared to other college. I have not selected in any if the companies even my college performance was quiet good. Although some of students placed in college but they are getting average salary.
