The best option for dentistry.
Placements: 70% of the students get placed in good hospitals after the degree. The highest package offered was 36 Lacs per annum and the lowest has been 8 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting hospitals are MAMC, Delhi, Apolo hospital, and Cygnus hospital. In BDS internship is included within the course only it is 4+1 years which is 4 years of study and a one-year internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the best. PGIDS Rohtak has best available facilities in the clinics for patient diagnosis. The number of patients in one day is the highest in the country. It is the third-ranked college in dentistry in India. Students have hostel facilities and a mess for food. There is sports ground, library, tennis court, badmkn court etc. Fiesta is the canteen in the college. The quality is really good.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified doctors. They have a huge experience in the field and tremendous knowledge. The teachers are very helpful and the teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is very relevant. It consists of theory as well as clinics. The students are allotted patients from the third year and they are well-assisted. The exams occur yearly and the pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I always wanted to become a doctor and that's why I opted for medicine and appeared for the NEET exam. I SEE dentistry as a growing branch in India as people are getting aware. Various events are held in the college and there are 2 fests every year one is Navraag and one is ARMSCON which is a medical conference.
